Property Ratings at Mesa Ridge Apartments
I have lived at the Mesa Ridge Apartments for a total of 3 years. I lived here from September 2019 - September 2020 and the previous management was horrible at that time. I considered not to move back, but decided to give it a 2nd chance. I moved back in November 2021 and I MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. The new manager, Nicole, and her AMAZING team members have done a great job turning this place around. The staff are very helpful, friendly, prompt, and are always willing to work with you. The staff are always reachable and willing to go above and beyond to ensure you have a safe, clean, comfortable place to live. Maintenance staff are always doing a great job keeping the complex grounds clean and completing maintenance requests in a timely matter. The apartment are spacious, and the patio is great! The other reason why I love this place is that ITS GATED! I am very glad I chose the Mesa Ridge Apartments as my home! I highly recommend it to be your home too!

This is the absolute worst place to live. Yes they make the outside look nice, but inside the apartments what a nightmare. Large burner on the stove takes 45 minutes to boil water & if I wanted dinner I would have had to start the night before & if I was lucky it would be ready by 6pm. The so called grounds people would use their blowers & blow all the leaves & dirt into the patio of the first floor tenants & management would send you a threatening letter to clean it up or get evicted. They offer nothing to tenants that have lived there for several years. IMO if some one has lived there for 10+ years offer them some type of discount.

Mesa ridge is great from the grounds to the office and maintenance team! The grounds are always so clean and the laundry rooms are always clean. Office staff is very helpful from Nicole to Randy and ash too! Never have i had such a great experience at an apartment complex before. 1000% recommended!

I have lived here for over 15-years and although the complex is well established and has seen it's share of problems it is a very quiet place to live. Most importantly the newest management team is doing a great job trying to make Mesa Ridge as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Anywhere you live there are bound to be undesireable people but the new management is doing their best at weeding these people out. There will always be very nice tenants living here.

this is amazing location. near lots of useful things, 2 major bus stops, and not noisy despite being off a major street and near I-40. lovely simple apartment complex. perfect for the "dont wanna pay for stuff I dont use" type. great staff and management that are always ready to help. they do excellent job with grounds keeping and keeping it clean. best advice: be smart about what you own. they're good sized for 1 bedroom apartments but it doesn't take much to lose that comfortable feeling. also and especially if you cook, pay the $70 rent increase for your appliance upgrade. my refrigerator spent 3 months with irregular temperatures. I would wake up and everything would be frozen or luke warm from the fridge shutting off in the night.
I've been here for 3 years, I've seen ups & downs with residents but at the end of day this place is really where I want to live. Miss Susan is very helpful, she has truly put the effort in to make sure this location as safe & secure as possible. I'm from the south and I think that southern hospitality goes a long way. I can say with absolute honesty that as long as your willing to help to make Mesa Ridge YOUR HOME you will enjoy your time here at MESA RIDGE APARTMENTS ??
I’ve lived at Mesa Ridge for 4 years because it’s a great community and I love the location, it’s near shops and restaurants in and around Cottonwood Mall. It’s walking distance to Parks, Recreation Paved Trails and “ABQ Ride” Bus Service; it’s nearby Daycares, Public and Private Schools…so many things to do around Mesa Ridge Apartment, I’ve enjoyed living here. This apartment has had problems which are to be expected due to people moving in and out. Mesa Ridge Apartment has improved a lot in the last few months due to new staff and management. They had brand new washer and dryers installed; added more security outside lights and cameras. We have great staff prompt responds to my needs and maintenance is quick to respond. According to the Environmental Protection Agency the best thing you can do is to starve the roaches out: • Don't leave open bags of food or candy lying around • Don't walk around the house with food • Don't leave pet food out overnight • Clean up spills and crumbs right away • Clean dirty dishes right away • Keep a tight lid on the kitchen trash and empty it often

Do not live here. Cockroaches took over the kitchen and bathroom. Carpet was disgusting and water leaked from the ceiling directly over our bed! Plus, two/three police cars would show up at least once a week. One time when we were outside on our patio, we saw a man trying to break into a car! Let's just say it was a happy day when we moved out. It's not worth your money to live here.
