Property Ratings at Metro 303
Good property overall, but somethings can always be bettered. Managment is trying their best to organize things but there is always room for improvement.
Good overall vibe! Location could have been better but areas and surrounding around the property is nicer, near property lot of car dealerships which makes it chaotic in morning
I only recently moved into the community but have had a good experience so far. The apartments have a lot of space and are well maintained. I would have appreciated more accessibility of management to answer questions at move-in.
Great experience moving into the new apartment so far! Our leasing agent Victoriya is amazing and has been such a great help. I'm a new tenant that I am hoping the year continues to go this well.
great place and great amenities! I love the aesthetics of my place and everything is kept very clean and maintained. staff is very nice and services are well worth it.
I love living here. But I wish there were better parking options for visitors ...especially house keepers. I also appreciate the opportunities for luncheons that Metro has arranged. I wish there were more of them. The alarm systems can be a trial especially when I am having zoom conferences.
Great and amazing staff, super helpful and sweet!! Vicki is the best, she made my lease signing experience free of stress. I recommend considering Metro 303 as your next home.
Great apartment and also near my university so great location .and whenever I have a problem with my apartment, they fix it immediately. And also the people who work there are nice and friendly.
5 stars all across the board. The community is awesome. I love the garden city area. Neighbors are friendly and building is clean. Apartments are spacious.
Great experience Very nice and excellent community very good and quality service in metro very friendly and helpful it’s an honor to call metro home!
Everyone that lived here pretty cool. Lots of dog lovers. parking is easy to find also. Download the butterfly app to help you access building.
It's amazing how quiet it is, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. And having a wonderful staff this building makes such a difference in creating a positive living experience. They're always there to assist and provide excellent service. It's great to have a team that genuinely cares about the residents.
Things were great when I first moved in (December 2022), but things changed (as expected) when new management took over toward the end of summer 2022. However, I commend new management for listening to feedback trying to improve, and there are a few areas I'd like for this community to bring back. For one, weekly Friday emails from management were great as they kept the residents up to date. Another thing I appreciated was the frequency of events that were hosted (e.g., random Friday pizza parties, sweet treat/cupcake gatherings) that encouraged this place to feel more like a community. The garage gate was also recently upgraded, but it closes too slowly after entry, making it a safety concern. About 3-5 cars can piggyback on one another based on how slowly the gate closes now. I truly hope management sees these concerns, and I look forward to the ongoing improvements to make this community a lovely place to happily call home.
AC failed within 5 days, and maintenance didn’t fix the issue for 3 days from work order being placed, and never replaced air filter until another maintenance request was put in November after repeated emails with management the issue was still outstanding. Massive flood from the fire sprinkler line destroyed apartment and 2 laptops management refused to negotiate and help with my out of pocket cost associated with the insurance replacement of the items despite the issue resulting from lack of due diligence. The maintenance to clean up water was managed by residents, no mold inspection was done, drywall replacement took days to get to and never gave prior notice despite making residents sign a contract for omission of management’s liability if anything was stolen. Fiber glass and drywall dust was not 100% contained. Electrical was never completed until a work order was placed despite also pleading with management to complete the work for months.
I seriously don't have any issues living here. I feel safe, been here for 3 yrs. I like it because its close to the shopping malls, banks, supermarkets, etc.
it’s been pretty good so far. i feel like maintenance can be a little better and also the mail situation can be organized alot better but nonetheless i am still so happy everytime i come home to metro 303, the cleanliness is top notch
For the price that we pay, the location is not worth it. Also currently, there are so many issues with management since they do not prioritize our building (they mainly prioritize their west Hempstead building). The issues range from terrible communication, almost everything is outdated or broken… save your time and money and stay clear from this place!!! If you need more confirmation, come by and visit and ask a resident, and they will advise you to not move in - we are all terribly annoyed. The main elevator has been down for almost 2 weeks! It’s always something and management doesn’t really care. Not worth the price at all given the building’s condition, terrible management and location (people drink and loiter on the corner of Main Street and the building does nothing about it).

Greystar bought this building a year agona nd has let it run downhill faster than a waterfall. Water leakage / mold throughout the building. Building falling apart, rats in the garage etc. Maintenance people last a few weeks and quit due to poor working conditions. Poor, unresponsive management. So happy I moved out!

While we understand you made the decision to no longer call Metro 303 home, we would like to understand more about the items your brought forth above. Please reach out to us at (516) 874-5615. Thank you!
Continuous problems reaching management and staff, trash problems smell up hallways and the elevator, garage door that remains open causing a safety concern, we are supposed to have a package delivery system that has not worked since the transfer of property ownership 7 months ago, common area and gym that has more non-working equipment than it does working equipment, the first 4 months was spent chasing down office staff just to pay rent on time, repairs that are not done timely, and I can go on and on….this is by far substandard living. I am just biding my time until I can move and not have the headache.

Hi, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We regret that you had a negative experience, and will use this as an opportunity to improve. Our manager would really like to speak with you more regarding this matter. Please reach out to us at (516) 292-8400. We look forward to hearing from you.
We moved in last summer. Since then the management co has changed. Had problems before such as major trash issue. Open dumpsters by the back elevator- trash smell would seep all the way up to the the top of the building and sit in the halls. Not to mention trash shoot rooms where for some reason residents throw their trash into the room instead of down the shoot. How hard is that? Truth is it’s like a college dorm (many students from nearby schools) masquerading as a luxury apt building. So a new management co took over and we thought things would get better. No! They have gotten positively worse. The new co (Greystar) shut down the office, and consolidated it with an office at a different building they run 10 minutes away (“to better serve us”) the poor maintenance team is severely understaffed. They try but are wayyy behind. The new greystar portal is horrible. Can’t submit requests. They took months to deposit the first rent after switching over. Randomly came out months later. Can’t get a hold of anyone. Trash is still a problem tho during the winter smell is less. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I know this is cheaper than other luxury apartments in the area but still grossly overpriced for the lack of care. Honestly should be about 50% of what it is. Pay 20% more and live at a real luxury apartment community, or if you’re willing to live in a dirty building with unreachable management at least go somewhere else and save half your money. We are definitely planning to move soon when our lease expires.
