Before I moved to Mission Valley I went to 7 different communities. Metro checked all the boxes. The location is perfect. A little bit pricey, but still reasonable. The amenities and staff are top-notch. I can not praise the ladies and Gentlemen that works in the front Office. They are Great people! I have been here 4 months and I am still happy with my living arrangement. I would recommend Metro Mission Valley to anyone.

Metro Mission Valley has been a great place for us to move to after we left Los Angeles. Its extremely dog friendly, the apartments are clean and have nice quality-of-life features like light dimmers/washer-dryers/dishwashers etc., and the staff have all been very welcoming and helpful.

They do not fix the broken building. Dog pee stains stink in the hallway. They show only clean parts during tour but look at the rest and you will see filth. Lazy and greedy.

Metro mission valley is very nice and has a lot of nice amenities but the finishes and some appliances are very low budget for the cost of the apartment

MMV is overall a good place to live. This year there were some building plumbing issues that took a couple months to resolve aesthetically but besides that everything was good. Good amenities and close to everything.

Hi there, we are very happy to have provided you with such a positive experience!
The place itself is beautiful and the amenities and location are great. For the price, I'm very disappointed in how my apartment was prepared for my move in and how difficult it is to communicate with the staff
No move in help. Uhaul does not fit and we live on the 4th floor. No one told us where to unload or how to move our furniture up. Upon move in, a month later and we still don't even have our trash can? Other places have given us a nice welcome package, nothing here. Feels there is room for improvement
Fast, accurate, and getting the maintenance requests complete. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Tons of break ins in the garage, no action to take steps for safety.
The community is very nice. So far I am enjoying it. I can hear the people above me rather well so that is taking some time to get used to.
Thin walls and loud stomping neighbors. Complained 3 times to the office and nothing ever changed over the course of 1 year. Sucks because I was working from home alongside everyone else during COVID and could not escape the stomping above me. It was unbelievable.
Victor and the rest of the staff are so awesome, and its a very nice and accommodating environment, I've already recommended it to a few friends.
I would absolutely recommend this apartment community to anyone looking for an apartment! This apartment complex has made every single move-in process smooth and maintained professionalism every step of the way. This complex has above standards cleanliness, office personnel were friendly with live personality, engaging, knowledgeable and informative, and also consistent with reaching out to potential residents, plenty of amenities, open parking, active security personnel, all the while affordable living. The quality of life is way above standards here. While apartment searching, I came to look at this complex 4 times because I was in awe with everything they had to offer. No other apartments gave me an impression that Metro Mission Valley did. And I just could not stop thinking about this place and wanting to live here! Not to mention, they have several different floor plans with lots of square footage. This place is where to be if you are looking for quality and luxury for a comfortable price in the Sunny San Diego. I highly recommend, you will NOT go wrong here! :)
It is an awesome place
I would highly recommend this property overall is the leasing office they are the front line that gives the first good impression. I've been to many apartments that can be beautiful and have all amenities but the employees are not up to standards or friendly. All that glitters ain't gold lol.
This is one of many properties over a six year rental history in mission valley. Here are the issues: 1. The valet garbage is crap (no pun intended) you pay a fee on top of garbage fees whether you use the service or not. The property management company gets a kickback to charge the residents more. 2. The water sewer and garbage fee has been consistently $60-70 per month which is extremely high. I’m one person on the dinky studio. When a renter moves out and leaves their crap they don’t want they dump it in the garbage area which means the remaining residents pay for the extra garbage. It’s gone up consistently since I moved in. You’re charged according to occupancy and amount of garbage for the property. 3. The kitchen has NO DRAWERS! Let me repeat, the kitchens have no drawers. Again I’m in the studio but other residents in 2 bedroom units say they have one drawer. One! 3. The elevator (main one) has worked for maybe a total of one month of the 8 I’ve lived here. 4. It smells like someone is lighting up all over the halls, elevators and outside their units because I can’t keep my sliding glass door (only window I have) open ever! 5. The water just randomly goes out without warning. 6. Manager just listens. Apologizes and lies. I was told I could switch units because of the elevator and the smoke and then I was told I would have to pay all these fees blah blah. Don’t move here. 7. There’s no where to walk your dog without running into dirty disgusting sidewalks, poop and pee everywhere. It’s so gross. DON’T MOVE HERE!
The complex fits all my needs (close to work, amenities, shopping, friendliness, etc)
The apartment, service and common areas are superb and I feel very safe here. Everyone in the office is super friendly and helpful. My only issues are the construction going on every day and the noise from the traffic which cannot be helped.
Carpeting in the hallways are not kept clean. I am basing my opinion on residing here for 3 weeks but we really like it here.
Apartments are clean and maintained well. There is a since of pride within the supporting group
Responded to my request sooner than expected. Great customer service!!
I wouldn’t recommend anyone to live here. I want to give negative stars. The office staff doesn’t communicate with tenants in a professional manner. There’s always car break-ins in the gated parking garage. This is supposed to be a luxury complex. I was the first to rent my apartment. I needed a new washer and dryer within the first month. The cabinets needed repairs, leaking ceiling (it’s top floor apt), toilet repair, leaking shower head just to name a few orders I had to put in within the first 6 months. Dogs urinate in the hallways. Elevators are always broken. This is not a safe living community. There’s nothing luxury about this complex.
yes
There were a lot of inconsistencies from when we looked at the place to what we actually received. The closets did not match the model we looked at so we were surprised with the unit we had. We know the unit was not cleaned, the carpet and bathroom were dirty as well as the floors. We had a door that didnt lock and know our unit was left completely open until we came to move in, the non locking door made being able to move our items into the unit stressful as we did not want to rely on having a leasing member lock the door every time we needed to leave our stuff unattended. It just seemed no one was prepared for our arrival and there was also no “walk through.” We had a neighbor that let his dog poop and pee all over the balcony and there is fur everywhere. He also was putting his weed out on the balcony wall when he was done smoking. We could smell the weed coming through our shared wall in our bedroom. He left but as of over a week later it still hasnt been cleaned up. We also had a flood across the hall and a circus tent that they put up for an extended period of time which is just annoying for the amount of rent everyone pays. Also, the hallway always smells absolutely terrible, like dogs have peed all over it and its always the first thing guests say. We got our first utility bill from the complex and it includes a day when we hadnt even moved in. The move in credit also doesnt function as described when we chose the unit.
It is a bit too busy around the neighborhood for me but overall place is great.
I have been here for 10 months and in the beginning while they were still trying to fill the units, it was great. You definitely see why you are paying the rent you’re paying each month when you consider the amenities. Unfortunately, there are some concerns. First and foremost, there is construction on the west side of the complex which is where I am and the demolition is literally causing minor tremors every five seconds which is absolutely disruptive and not to mention the loud noise of construction beginning at 7am. If you don’t mind living in a building that is constantly being shaken much like an earthquake then read on. The apartment unit itself is luxurious and spacious. It has everything that you can want and need and depending on the unit, the layout is functional and comfortable. On to the cons. Llet’s start with the fitness center. When I first moved in, it was very attractive to me that it had dumbbells that went upwards of 80 pounds and there were bands, jump ropes, etc. But soon after, the bands and jump ropes have walked away and dumbbells have been reduced to half the amount with the maximum of 50 pounds. I adjusted and I live with it. Now for parking, I live on the third floor so naturally, I park on the third floor of the parking structure. But the door on one side can only be to exit the building and go into the parking structure. But when you go to any floors besides the third floor, they are unlocked and can be used to enter and exit. When I had talked to a lady at the office, her explanation is that it is just the way it is. Not much of an explanation and not even logical. So I adjusted my routine again. Now, the littering issue confuses me because the items/trash left on the floor is either feet away from the door or the trash room. They are in hallways, parking areas, stairwells and places that have adequate trash bins for people to dispose of their trash but seems 3 feet away is too far. But I again just move on and adjust. There are some great things which I appreciate greatly. The cleaning staff is amazing. They work extremely hard to keep this place clean and organized. Maintenance has also been efficient and quick to fix any issues I have had. Lastly, the staff at the office are friendly and helpful.
Your maintenance people are the best.. My highest marks on all accounts.
The staff has been nothing but sweet and helpful since the day we arrived. They were willing to stay a little late to meet us so that we could finish our paperwork after flying in from Japan. They have been on the ball with teaching us all the little things we didn't know like submitting work orders through the app (and still called maintenance for us after teaching us about the app). The grounds look beautiful, the units are spacious but cozy, and it has been quite simply a joy to live here.
Amenities are the bomb! Good location, very accesible to a lot of places. Peaceful. Gated security on the parking. Kid friendly.
Would - excellent amenities, garage parking, in-unit W/D, balcony available, high ceilings, open living space, hardwood floors/carpet for bedroom & closet Would not - consistent dog urine/stench in hallways, need bigger elevators for ease of move-in, outdated lighting, outdated dishwasher, lack of kitchen drawers
I would for the amenities, the community, the staff, location and cleanliness.
The apartment community is kept in great condition and the management is by far the best out there.
We are happy here .. the only thing I think the millennium is really missing is the opportunity to really get to know the people that actually live here . The places we lived in prior really made the residents feel important and had cooking classes , wine tastings , art and wine , did random parties .... also had food trucks and wood fired pizza come during the week . I just think people choose to live in resort type places and pay more to also get to know the people around them and those little things are fun!
Due to the timely response of the maintenance, I would recommend this to a family or friend.
The location and parts of the building are luxurious. It is also great that parking is secure. However, the building construction is not ideal since all noises can be heard from neighbors(i.e. footsteps, shouting, etc). In addition, although there are house rules, they do not seem to be enforced well as there is always the smell of marijuana or smoke in the halls and littering is everywhere, even in the garage parking areas. We also had very noisy upstairs neighbors. Perhaps Management should be more selective of residents who respect house rules since this ruins the luxurious feel of the community. Finally, as the number of residents increased, it appeared that the coffee machines and entry/exit doors, carpet/ paint, etc. were deteriorating/ stained/ broken faster than before and management could not keep up with maintenance.
i would not recommend only because the rent is honestly so high and then a rent increase was a lot as well. I get its san diego but you guys really started your rent prices very high. There are homes that i can rent way cheaper than your 1 bedroom rate.
The service on move in day was terrible, they made a very tough day more difficult. Elevators were not working, and the office personnel just shrugged their shoulders. I had a full truck and movers are they could not tell me (let alone show me) where the next best elevator was. A very poor first impression.
