Property Ratings at Metro on First
I saw the reviews and thought the same thing “surely they’re making that up” or “not every apartment has this problem” but I’m telling you, it’s real. They’re in my cabinets. I’ve put in so many work orders and been on the pest control list feels like every week and they’re not doing anything to get to the problem they put up sticky traps and call it a day. Don’t touch this place with a 10ft pole!

No matter how clean you kept your apartment, there was a ton of the small German cockroaches. I even had some crawl into my bed. Once It was absolutely disgusting they renamed the place all the time and repaint it so that they can trick people. But this place is a absolute dump. Go somewhere else. Don't waste your money here.
I wish I could post some photos of this sad, dirty, neglected complex. There is no management on site. Good luck filing a maintenance request. The link is broken. Rent is almost $1300/month.
I am in the middle of being on my own for the first time in a long time. I came to Metro on First and was impressed by the lushes landscaping and their recent renovation in their units that it left me in AWE!. I was very happy with the staff Stephanie answered my questions about the concerns I had with the application process and deposit that would be possibly involved. I also had the privilege of also meeting the property manager her name was Cassandra I believe. She was such a delight and was very engaging and welcoming too. Cassandra assured to me that her mission is to make this the best property to reside and I believe her because she showed such passion for her property and her staff too. I am looking forward to moving here in the next 3 weeks. I highly recommend this location!
They suck at answering emails and phone calls. My fiancé and I applied and paid the hold fee, which is money we would like back and we have yet to hear anything back from them. Its been a week. They haven’t contacted us at all yet and still has our money that we want back. It’s really not worth the headache and losing your money for. If i could rate zero stars I would
Infested with roaches. The pool & jacuzzi are always filthy and rarely cleaned. Super noisy area.
I love this complex...I started as a visitor playing racket ball here..quickly loved the area..Now I have been here 5 years..Love my apartment..neighbors..view..and management the best..They are always right on..Love the gym and ab area..Pool are very nice..They have a great Dog area and are pet friendly..We all chat here..so to me a great big family..commute is easy..to everything..We walk and cycle here as well..Come join our family..Love it.
CITY HEIGHTS APARTMENTS IS GREAT APARTMENTS FRFR. LOVE IT. THE GRASS IS GREEN & APARTMENTS ARE STRUCTURALLY BUILT. LOVE IT. MAINTENENCE. LOVE IT. CITY HEIGHTS IS MY HOME.
I love my new apartment its really nice. The City Heights management have made a lot of positive changes to the property . It is always so clean. They have a dog park my puppy loves . The computer room is very helpful and the office girls always help whenever I need help .
Lived here 3 weeks and have seen 3 cockroaches. Maintenance says they sprayed but we continue to see them. We've emptied two cans of raid in our apartment as well.
First of all, this place is terrible at communicating with their tenants. They use photocopied notices that they stick on your door, and they frequently blow off in the wind, littering the parking lot. Not long after moving into my apartment, I heard my next-door neighbor get into a spat with a contractor who seemed to show up unannounced. I had found the notice on my door earlier in the week, letting us know that our door frames would be getting some repair work, but my neighbor wasn't so lucky; his was probably one of the notices that disappeared in the wind. One day while using the laundry facility, another tenant sparked up a conversation with me and mentioned how his car got towed when they did some parking lot maintenance. He, too, was someone whose notice apparently blew off in the wind. I suppose my time was due when I went on a brief summer vacation and came home to an apartment that looked as if it had been ransacked. They were replacing some pipes. That notice on my door didn't do me a lot of good when I was 1,000 miles away. But what really topped it all was when my air conditioner started going out, and instead of doing any meaningful, lasting fixes, they would clean it up and tweak just enough to make it work for three weeks; then I'd inevitably have to put in another maintenance call when I came home to an 85-degree apartment. Finally my air conditioner went out for good. I couldn't keep my apartment cool no matter what I did. I put up blackout curtains at my own expense and started unplugging my modem and other electronics when I wasn't using them. I was still roasting to death every time. But their oh-so-helpful maintenance guy told me that I just needed to shut off my air conditioner occasionally so that it wouldn't overheat. That didn't work. After numerous follow-up calls I finally got them to replace my AC. But they took their precious time doing it. I finally moved out to a better place in October of 2015. After I moved out the crooks sent me a $212.86 bill for cleaning and touch-up painting. Nothing was itemized or explained. It was all smoke and mirrors. It was all bogus. One of my friends who helped me move out had worked in a leasing office when she was younger, and she even said that I had done more than enough move-out cleaning. These people are dishonest, shady, and lousy at what they do. I wouldn't recommend them unless you really can't afford something better.
When I first came to tucson it was after going through a 5 year battle of being homeless in Chicago I was finally ready to get a place again I chose this complex because it was inexpensive had a pool, tucson's heat is no joke, two laundry rooms, and a gym. The apartments may have carpet but it's ok because they were in better condition then most apartment buildings I've seen between both city's the renters are very kind and are always willing to help I've been completely satisfied with the service I've received since moving in
I have lived at Rillito Village since 2013 and it has been great. The office staff are friendly, and on top of everything. The maintenance staff knows what they are doing and gets things done promptly. The pool are is always clean, and the on site gym saves us lots of money in gym memberships. The neighbors I have are very friendly and watch out for you when you are not home. All in all Rillito Village is the best apartment complex you could hope for.
Great people to work with. Not far from anything. Common areas are well maintained. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues.
