Property Ratings at Metro Pointe
It’s been three weeks since I put in a maintenance request for a clogged bathroom. I even spoke to a maintenance guy to tell him about it but it is still not yet repaired. This is not the first time!!!
Property Manager at Metro Pointe, Responded To This Review
Hi Showan, we apologize for the delay in your maintenance request. We will reach out immediately to get your issue resolved. Thank you so much for your patience so far!
I moved into this apartment in June of 2024, they don't respond to emails if you make a complaint to corporate they erase it if you make a maintenance request they will fill the ticket and say the job was done even though it's not multiple units have leaks in them mine has had a leak from the upstairs apartment since I moved there's no urgency to fix it and to top it off I still have no mailbox key I literally have to buy a PO box that I will be taken back out of the rent but just save yourself a headache and trust me when I tell you it's not worth the headache. Don't be fooled by the pictures online and don't think that the pool will be open for you to use because it won't this is the worst management I've ever dealt with in my life I swear I wish I did not make the mistake of moving my family into this place I cannot wait until my lease is up or I have to break it but I cannot stay here much longer.
Property Manager at Metro Pointe, Responded To This Review
Thank you for leaving us feedback and we’re sorry you feel this way, Andy. Your frustration from the delay of maintenance team, not receiving your mailbox key, and the unresponsiveness from the staff is totally understandable, and we apologize for that. We hope to resolve these issues for you soon.
If you are looking for a place to move, I would not recommend this community AT ALL. You're better off getting a long-term AirBnB or living in a hotel if it's short term. The kitchen and bathroom were completely infested with roaches. When walking into my home, a roach fell on my shoulder as I was coming into the unit. There is constant noise in the complex because people (who are not tenants) sit on the side of Home Depot which is the front of the apartment complex. A homeless man was sleeping outside under a balcony space one morning as I was walking my dog. Neighbors played loud music in the parking lot and made it difficult for me to focus during the day as a stay-at-home employee. Keep searching for a place to live because this place is terrible.

Where do I start? We've been in this apartment for about 2 months now & have experienced about 5 years worth of issues since the day we moved our things in. It all started with a few minor problems such as broken/fragile towel racks & toilet paper holders, tub draining the water from it at a very slow pace & the closet doors being off the hinges/tracks. The more the days went by, the more issues and experiences we've encountered. A new problem every single day, no exaggeration. Or alternating between problems we already have. There was a sudden leak in the main bathroom ceiling, followed by a foul odor, a deteriorating ceiling with holes and brownish stains left in the ceiling once the residue dried. I'm assuming it was waste of some sort, but the maintenance crew eventually came to "fix the issue" (only repatched the ceilings, never fixed the leaking pipes from the neighbors above us). Once that one of the +50 work orders we've submitted was "resolved", we began having rodent problems. Literally caught one mouse after another, totaling up to 4 so far. That's not counting the amount we've seen or that got away. Following up with the mouse infestation, there was a dead rat in the walkway for a few days, which leads me to assume that a rat infestation isnt too far fetched from the mouse problems we've experienced. The mice had plenty of entrances with the help of Metro Pointe's lovely (poor) infrastructure, featuring the various holes and unleveled floor/wall sections in nearly every room. Ontop of everything that I've mentioned above, there has been a sudden roach and other bug infestation. It's so out of hand, that the mouse traps intended to catch the mice here are residences for roach larvae and roaches. The neighbors turned the laundry room into a part-time dumpster, leaving full trash bags in the entrance of the laundromat. The maintenance crew fixes everything but what needs to be fixed. Having a fixed towel rack (that's broken again) is nice and all, but this apartment is hazardous to live in to say the least. From November to now, Metro Pointe has went from a home to a hellhole. It's almost as if there was a "problem activation" button the second we received our keys from the leasing office. Plenty of space in the apartment though. I would prefer for the space we live in to be occupied by those who pay bills here, not rodents or insects. Think twice before moving here.

Been trying to get a place at this apartment , however they failed to get in touch with me and I kept doing majority of the calling, at some point when I got to the leasing office the current residents were complaining , still I thought to take the place irrespective because I was in urgent need of a closer place to work . they kept pushing me around without any head way. Finally they Asked me to come get the key after 2 months +, I made plans with family and bge and they turned around to say I didn’t qualify on the day I went to pick up the key. I am extremely disappointed that a place like this even exist , I have never been do humiliated and disregarded. I do not recommend this apartment !
Very outdated reviews , property is dirty and has mice and roaches.

The maintenance is horrible and slow, you have to call so many times, things dont get fixed, the damage will pile up & the management sucks as well, the apartment is really pretty tho

The day I moved in I was pleased with the apartment overall. However, I had to report some minor issues immediately. The utility closet in the second bedroom has an open window that cannot be closed and has no type of screen protection allowing any bugs or flies to come in. Dead roaches were Visible on the light fixture in the kitchen. Disgusting. My mailbox lock was broken. Finally two weeks later instead of maintenance actually fixing the lock, they opened the mailbox and left the broken door wide open for my mail to be stolen. Common sense would have told them to inform me that they were going to open it so I could retrieve my mail or I dunno FIX THE FRICKIN LOCK! I honestly regret choosing Metro Pointe and would never recommend this place to anyone. Period

I've been living at Metro Pointe formerly known as Reisterstown Square for 4 years and 4 months. I wouldn't recommend anyone here because the maintenance is VERY slow on fixing things ( air conditioners & heat). Most of the time you have to call multiple times (nag) just to MAYBE get something fixed. They did renovation to the windows replaced them with new ones and also put security locks on the door and cameras in the hallway. The appliances (cabinet, refrigerator, stove, countertops and dishwashers) are old or not modern. If I had to rate the maintenance I'd give them a 2.5. As far as the service in the office 3.5.

I like the location and surrounding stores near Reisterstown Square Apts. It is breathe taken. The staff was patience, professional, courtesy. Explained the surroundings (wash room, card machine for laundry). I really like all of what I saw. The pool would benefit me in therapy by swimming, as well as the fitness room. I rate Reisterstown an 5.

We appreciate the lovely feedback of Metro Pointe Apartment Homes. Thank you and have a great day!
The apartment that my husband and I share is exactly what we were looking for. One of the things that we love the most is the beautiful trees. Even throe we live in the city it still gives you that beautiful feeling of country living. At night it's so very peaceful and you wake to the sound of birds singing in the morning. Neither my husband or I drive so having the subway in walking distance is ideal. We can go shopping at the Mall that's also in walking distance. That is why I say that, where we live is totally awesome.

Hello and thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback! We are thrilled to hear that you have nothing but amazing things to say about our team at Metro Pointe Apartment Homes and what we offer.
Convenient and near the subway and mall. Everything I need is right here, including a laundry room and a balcony! Who could ask for more! The one bedroom apartment overlooks a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the breeze or an early morning sunrise. It is a nice walk to the subway making it an easy commute to work and to home at the end of the day. There is even a swimming pool and exercise room! All these things make living at the Reisterstown Square Apartments comfortable and enjoyable!

The apartment complex is available to transportation. However, the staff for maintenance is lacking. The dumpsters are ragged, trash/garbage remains outside of them at times/clothing, toys, other than patio furniture is on the balconies. Trying to get issues resolves is like pulling teeth. It could be beautiful and a great place to live but we wonder if anyone in management really cares, either in Baltimore or New Jersey. New Jersey management come on down and take a look!!!!
