Property Ratings at Metro Rahway
Upon researching the property, Kyle, the Rental Agent was very accommodating. He shared his cell # and entertained multiple questions and multiple visits. Lisa, the Office Manager has been a gem in navigating me through the new tenant process: the web portal, mail, package delivery and parking. She's become my new BFF. The building is always clean and smells great. This is due to Gerald and Emmanuel, the Custodial Crew. They are usually the first faces I see in the AM, so friendly and knowledgeable about all things Metro. The tenants are friendly and the building is quiet. I'm sure this is my "Forever Home".
Kyle, the realtor, and lisa, the complex administrator, are great. They made the process of moving in flawless. Highly recommend the apartment complex.
That smokers’ den review is so true. Glad we are leaving. My goodness! Bad management
Metro's been great thus far. Easy access to train station (across the street) has made my daily commute easy. The apartment itself is modern (recent updates) and well-maintained. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to call home in Rahway.
Very run down…management not proactive and no matter how many times they witness violation of lease they look away. If you’re one of the violators then this place is for you. Welcome to the high priced nonsense…overstayed so packing up soon. One star for management - they get an academy award for allowing nonsense.
I recently made the move to Metro Rahway, and I must admit I am genuinely impressed! The staff (Kyle, Lisa and Gerald) made the entire move-in process seamless and hassle-free. Its location right across the street from the train station is an absolute game-changer for my daily commute. The apartment itself is spacious with nice finishes. All in all, I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone seeking a polished and convenient place to call home.
Seriously, run! Waste of money and energy. Management is a joke and tolerates bad habits here. So if that works for you then come on down!
Poorly run by management…pigsty, pot haven & dirty
The management was forthcoming with showing available units. Move-in was fairly smooth, and the tasks that I needed to get done to move-in were presented to me in an organized manner. When it comes to responding to requests, maintenance has so far, been prompt with their responses and turn-around times. If you end up not taking up a parking spot in the garage, you will end up walking for a minute or two to reach your parking spot, but the management has been thoughtful enough to keep shopping carts near the main elevator area to be used to bring items that you might have shopped all the way from your parking spot to your apartment door. The property is 1 minute of walking distance away from Rahway station - so heading into the city is a breeze. Been a month since I have lived here and it's been a great experience so far! :)
It honestly doesn’t get much better than this in the tri-state area if you’re looking to rent a nice living space with easy access to public transportation. Rent is reasonable for a 1 bedroom/ 1 bath compared to other cities in New Jersey. Everything is newly renovated, clean, caring community culture and 3 minute walk to the North East Corridor transit line. Reach out to the leasing agent - Kyle - who is very knowledgeable in the local market and very transparent with all residents. As well as, Lisa - the property manager who is always willing to provide day-to-day communication and white glove assistance to residents.
Close proximity to mass transit, attentive management that responds in a timely manner and luxurious apartments. Would definitely recommend to friends/family.
Find out what management likes and be part of the clique. This will ensure your rent doesn’t increase and you’re full proof protected from any complaints against you by other tenants…they have eyes and ears everywhere so beware! Their expertise is keeping bad tenants.
Not a good place to live in. Read the bad reviews….
Not worth your money and not worth your time. Do yourselves a favor and find a better luxury place coz this place ain’t luxury at all. Yes, the recent bad reviews are right on point! Place has become more of an expensive luxury zoo.
Terrible management, lease agreement not honored and tenants don’t respect the place so why pay more when it’s clearly not a luxury place. UGH! Glad, I’m leaving soon and so as everyone else. Let’s go!! It sucks I had to leave a star coz this clearly doesn’t take no star LOL
Everyone is moving out for a reason. Rent is high but quality of living is definitely not worth the price. Recent reviews give a better idea of the quality of living in this place. Unfortunately, you can’t do a review with NO stars so they get one star. The star is for the outside appearance which is nowhere close to what the inside is about. Inside is like a zoo!
Ever wonder why the reviews are 5 years old…beware! Once you sign the lease trouble comes. If you are looking for a quiet place, nonsmoking place and luxury place, well this place ain’t for you. It had the luxury title for show. RUN! Metro Rahway and Reva Rahway are one and the same.
Great place for anyone who loves to smoke and break rules. It’s encouraged in this “luxury” place. Move at your own risk!
Metro Rahway is a great place to live if you are commuting into NYC or working in central jersey. The train station is a block with about a 35-50 minute commute into penn station. The apartments are spacious with new stainless steel appliances. One surface spot is included with rent however you can get a garage spot for 60 dollars a month and depending on availability you can get a second one for 60-100 dollars a month. The management staff is very friendly and helpful when you have questions and are quick to respond to service requests. There is a package system in the lobby that makes it very easy and convenient to get packages delivered. The only downside is the price, with a number of other complexes in the area and with a few under construction that are set to be finished soon you are likely to find a cheaper price with one of the newer buildings.
I cannot recommend Metro Rahway highly enough. We have 2 young children and we love living here. Apartments are modern, spacious and comfortable. You cannot beat location - literally steps away from a train ride to NYC, and close by big supermarkets and shopping malls. The thing that really makes Metro Rahway home are the staff here. Both Gemma and Samantha in the leasing office cannot do enough for you. They always have time for you and go above and beyond to help however they can. Maintenance are also amazing - any issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently. There are various nights held for residents - pizza night, super moms club, billiards night etc, which has been a great way to meet people. All in all, a fantastic place to live!
I am completely satisfied with all aspects of this complex. From the clean gym, to the billiards room and most importantly the convenience to public transportation. I would highly recommend this apartment.
Metro Rahway is awesome. It is very convenient for the commuter life. Train station is within walking distance from the apartment as well as the downtown Rahway area. Downtown has many great restaurants such as Nigil's, Cubanu and The Wait Room. The facility itself is great as the maintenance staff here makes sure everything is always super clean. There is a gym located onsite on the ground level. Its a pretty decent gym for its size with a variety of equipment options. There is also a luxury lounge and billiards room. There is a private parking garage as well as parking via street. There are also a few parks within walking distance. The overall environment is great and I love living here.
Literally steps from the train station, Metro Rahway is an excellent choice for NYC commuters. What really drew me in, though, was the clean, modern look of the units, which can be difficult to find in most areas of Jersey. Hardwood floors, quartz countertops, and stainless steel are a few of the decor pluses. The rent is reasonable considering the building is only about a year old. There are not many amenities, but the gym is decent for getting in basic workouts. If you look closely, you can tell that they kept costs down by not using the highest quality windows, fixtures, etc., but nothing that noticeable on a daily basis. Maintenance is on top of their game. Overall, a solid place to live.
What makes this apartment complex home is the wonderful building management team. Always greeted with a smile and time to chat, any issues or problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently. The building is well maintained and looked after. The apartments themselves are spacious, light and airy. They are fitted out with quality appliances and a kitchen your proud to cook in. The location is great, right opposite the train station, so it's convenient. We are a family of four and so far have enjoyed living here and anyone else who chooses to will not regret it.
We have been living in Metro Rahway for 8 months now and have no complaints so far! The building is brand new so there small bumps being that the building is new, but overall, we are really happy with everything. The staff is very helpful and the main areas and facilities are always kept clean. The gym is very convenient being that its right downstairs and has a bunch of equipment for someone looking for a quick workout or a more advanced one. The parking is great as there is garage and lot parking which makes unloading groceries easy. It is a quick less than 5 minute walk to the train to NY which is very convenient and there are two different train lines that stop at that station making it even more accessible. Overall, We are very happy with everything!
Metro Rahway is conveniently located across from the NJ transit Northeast Corridor and the New Jersey Coast lines (going to NYC, Trenton and several shore locations). It is a great place to live if you commute into the city but are looking for a bit of a quieter living. The building is located in walking distance to a handful of bars and restaurants and is located in Central Jersey so easy to get almost anywhere. The building itself is brand new and is beautifully designed. The apartments are spacious and open with lots of natural light coming in. Full Washer and dryer and new appliances make it a great place to come home to everyday. The site offers a gym (never really crowded) and a TV room and Billiards room. The host Pizza nights and other activities for residents and have a dog park outside for the puppies! The staff is extremely friendly and I have never had any bugs or noise issues. I love living here! There are only two small complaints I have. 1) No outdoor human space...I would love to have a place to enjoy the outdoors and grill :( and 2) Only one parking spot per apartment so my roommate has to pay the same amount as I pay to park in the garage to park on the street. I am not sure if that is a Jersey thing (I am not from here) but it really is a hassle. Otherwise I would highly recommend the building for a family or professionals!
This building has a great feeling and provides wonderful amenities. It is very close to the train, park, and restaurants and also provides indoor parking and storage units. The staff is helpful and on call 24/7 and they keep the common areas along with the hallways and entrance/exits well lit and clean. All around a quiet, comfortable, clean residence with friendly tenants and staff. There is also a gym that is open 24/7 that is better equipped than most apartment gyms I have seen. Pricing is fair for the amount of space and amenities especially with each unit coming with a wash/dryer. Very happy with the building, staff, and residence and would recommend to anyone who needs to commute to NYC often.
Luxury apartments designed for the NYC commuter or NYC enthusiast with a short 2 minute walk across the street to NJ transit train. The building comes with great management that makes one feel like they are always on vacation. The floor plans are stylish, modern and come with all the amenities one would expect from a luxury apartment. Some of the larger apartments have over 1400 square feet available if you desire. After your blown away with the look and feel of your new space; the full gym, clubhouse, billiard room, dog park along with key less garage entry will put you over the top. If this isn't enough, half mile away are tennis courts, a mini central park with pool for those summer activities you so desire. After an intense workout, you could dine at some of fine restaurants conveniently minutes away. This is luxury living at its finest.
I moved into Metro Rahway 4 months ago and I love it. Gemma and all the office staff are so friendly and helpful. They always go above and beyond to help me out with anything I need. Mark and the maintenance team are also great! They mounted my TV in the living room for free. Pros: - beautiful new building, opened fall 2014 - 9ft ceilings make the apartment feel even bigger than it is - great location!!! (Close to routes 1, 9, 35, NJ turnpike and the GS parkway) - 1 block from the train station; Rahway is on two major NJ transit lines (Northeast corridor and North Jersey Shore line) - walkable to bars, restaurants and dry cleaners - garage parking (only $50!) - full size washer/dryer in each unit plus stainless steel kitchen appliances - building amenities: gym, billiards room and resident lounge Cons: - only ONE parking space per apartment (both 1 and 2 bedroom) - no pool/rooftop
I work in the city, so the convenience of being a three minute walk to NJ Transit is amazing. It cuts at least a half an hour off my commute (driving to the train station, looking for a parking space, and then sitting in traffic on the ride home after work. The ladies in the leasing office are so helpful and respond quickly to your needs as well as the maintenance staff They hold a social for the tenants every month in the residence lounge so you can meet you r neighbors (and enjoy some yummy food!) They have a billiards room which is so much fun as well a state of the art fitness center. They only thing they do not have is a pool which is the only reason I did not give this property a five star rating. The restaurant that are in walking distance are amazing, so there is always a place to eat if you don't feel like cooking at home in your newly equipped kitchen. One last thing, they are a pet friendly building and they also offer a dog park which is super convenient for me being I have two crazy dogs who love to run!!! I really enjoy living at the Metro Rahway
Metro Rahway is the GREATEST! Staff, location, amenities, community events, and a place that is PET friendly! I think my dog gets more love than me! I appreciate living in a place I can call HOME! We love Metro Rahway! T & B
My family and I needed to relocate to New Jersey very quickly so I could start a new job. We'd never been to the area and didn't have time to view a lot of places. Metro Rahway was the first place we saw and we were immediately blow away by hotel feel and the amenities. The same weekend we went to three other luxury apartment buildings. They were all significantly more expensive but without the high end feel or welcoming rental agents. What really sold us on metro Rahway was that right across the street is a NJ transit station that will get you into the big apple in under 45 minutes. We fell like we have it all here. Great restaurants and parks with a small town feel and great walkability, but with big city access when we need more excitement
We love our 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. It features stainless steel appliances and beautiful cabinets. The building is quiet and the residents are friendly. We especially love that it is pet friendly so our pup can love life also!
I highly recommend Metro Rahway as a modern , upscale place to live. Apartments are spacious and new. Maintence and leasing office are extremely attentive to your needs. Train station and restaurants within walking distance.
We're native New Yorkers who happened on Rahway when FEMA moved us here temporarily after the hurricane. The people were so kind and genuine that once we got the chance, we made Rahway our permanent home. Metro is the second place we lived in and definitely the best. The apartments are a decent size. You may sacrifice a little bit on the master bedroom size, but the trade off is that you get a great laundry room instead of a "laundry closet" which is particularly great if you have pets! They didn't skimp on the appliances either, which I greatly appreciate. The management is super responsive and communicative and they plan great monthly tenant events. The maintenance staff is also great and the grounds are well kept. Having seen the other luxury apartments in the community, the amenities here are either on par or steps above what you'll see around. The only thing we're missing is a "business center" ?? If there is a negative, I would say that the garage is cold but you'd only be there for a hot second anyway. The building is a quick walk to the train station and unless the trains are tooting their horns, I don't hear much noise. Neighborhood is safe. Rent is on par with the other buildings, but given that I am a New Yorker, I may not be the best judge. We're more than satisfied and the community of Rahway, though a food desert (ShopRite delivers) is absolutely a wonderful place to raise a family or just start over! Unless we FINALLY get a condo building in Rahway, or Metro goes bonkers and raises the rent astronomically OR changes management, we plan to ride this til the wheels fall off! You won't regret it here!
Metro Rahway has been an excellent community to live in. There are social events on a monthly basis, and maintenance has always responded in a timely manner(within hours) . The community is well run by management, and the office staff and maintenance are great to work with. The apartments are nice and the lounge/gym/billiards room are all nice perks. Train station is walking distance. All in all I am in love with my new apartment/community.
