Located in Downtown Seattle, First Hill is the city’s first neighborhood. The historic neighborhood is also known as “Pill Hill” for its abundance of medical and research institutions, such as Swedish Hospital and Virginia Mason Medical Center. First Hill is also home to Seattle University and the famed Frye Art Museum. Defined by steep hills, First Hills juxtaposes the old and new with historic brick apartment buildings, modern high-rise apartments, and charming houses. First Hill is extremely walkable and there are a variety of shops and restaurants in the neighborhood for residents to enjoy. Living in First Hill also places resident minutes from some of the city’s most popular hotspots like Capitol Hill, the International District, and Lower Queen Anne, home of the iconic Space Needle. First Hill has several rail stations and Interstate 5 runs on the western edge of the neighborhood making traveling through downtown easy.

Property Ratings at Metroline Flats
Great move in experience Scott was very helpful with the move-in process. I would recommend metroline flats to my friends and family
Why Scott is the best Scott, the manager, is really communicative during the leasing process, informed us of the timeline, and was so knowledgable with all our questions. (We moved from out of the state.) The home itself is nice, and the community is kept up with. All the residents are respectful of each other. Overall, we had a great experience.
It’s a great apartment, the office staff and maintenance staff are friendly and amazing. The repairs were done in a timely manner. And It’s convenient for the transportation.
Nice building not far from Capitol Hill and downtown. It has a cozy rooftop where you can enjoy views of the city and mountains nearby. Apartments have all necessary appliances. Staff is very friendly and helpful, especially Victor, our maintenance guy. If something has to be fixed, it will be done professionally in a timely manner. The only downside is that there is no parking places for residents.
Metroline Flats apartments are well built and spacious, and the floors are quiet. There aren't frivolous amenities that drive up the rent. The location is great for traveling throughout Seattle, whether by walking or public transportation. Parking nearby can be difficult if you own a car. Overall, I find Metroline Flats to be a very pleasant place to call home.
It's actually incredibly well priced for the Seattle area, especially since they offer brand new furnishings and a beautiful view, the current manager, brandon, is quick to reply, the maintenance staff is always helpful, and he's welcoming and gives a shout out to everyone! The only downside is that it doesn't have parking, but the nearby parking building makes up for it!
If I could give this place below a 1 I personally would. When Althea was manager. Everything worked out smoothly. We had fun little mixers, food trucks once a month and it felt like a home. Since she has left us…We have gone through several managers who can’t get it together for the life of them and it’s only going down hill from here. Don’t waste your money . Not worth it. Don’t move here.
I would give this place 5 stars if I reviewed 6 months ago when Althea was the property manager. Since she has left the managers here have been truly awful. When reaching out to them I rarely receive any type of reply, and I have often had to go down to the office to get issues resolved. That is, if they are ever in the office. It seems like they like to show up for 2-3 hours every couple days, and will rarely be helpful even while they are there. When trying to move out I tried giving them my 30 days' notice that I was leaving. After 5 plus times of reaching out, they still never sent me any confirmation that I was leaving. They also failed to prorate my rent for the last month, even though my lease ended early. Great apartments, but God help you if you ever have to deal with the property managers.

Hello, Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear about your experience with our team. We strive to uphold the highest level of customer service and i do apologize that your needs were not met. Please reach out to us if you have any future questions or concerns. Thank you
I moved here in November of 2019 and I have enjoyed every moment of living here. Althea (apartment manager) and the rest of the staff have absolutely been the highlight of my stay here. They are extremely responsive and are willing to help you no matter what. Althea will go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need and that all of your packages are safe. She also plans some events on holidays like free donuts for Valentine's Day or food trucks outside. Only thing I would say is that parking can be tough since there is not dedicated garage, but the free zone parking helps a lot. Other than that, building is well maintained, always smells really nice when you walk in, staff is extremely responsive and helpful, and price is really good compared to the nearby apartments.
