Property Ratings at Metropolitan
I recently moved into this apartment community and have already noticed significant improvements under the new office and maintenance team. The management company is clearly dedicated to making this property better, and their efforts are showing. The new office team is responsive and helpful, addressing any concerns promptly. Maintenance requests are now handled efficiently, and I've seen upgrades happening around the property that are refreshing and much-needed. It's evident that the management company is putting in a lot of work to enhance residents' living experiences. I'm excited to see further improvements unfold and would recommend this community to anyone looking for positive changes and a responsive management team. Keep up the great work!

I was charged a fee for a carport replacement they claim was fairly new after I lived in the apartment for over 3 years. They even said the carpet last normally about 5 years. I was never notified of the charges from the apartment complex and only saw it once it was on my credit report as a collections claim. Never receive the documents requested in a timely fashion. They did not utilize the forward addressing or information provided to them. There were several issues with leaks in the apartment which also resulted in damage that they never fully fixed.

We would love to speak with you about this directly. Please give us a call or stop by our office so we can address your concerns and hopefully clear this up. Thanks!
This was the worst place I have ever lived!! The staff is very unkind to its residents and the carpet is trash. They will charge you for random things. Multiple people I know who lived there all got hit with a fee. Just a headache to deal with the office. If safety is a high priority for you, this is not the place!

Hello, thank you for this feedback. We're very disappointed to hear you feel this way about your experience here. We hope we can get the opportunity to speak with you about your time at Metropolitan Apartments sometime soon. Thank you again.
I love it here at metropolitan. The office staff is great, very friendly I love my view and I just feel so at home here! It's so close to a little bit of everything. The environment is so nice and quiet. I recommend anyone to come and view if not just move in already. Thank you very much!

Thank you for your five-star review! Our team at Metropolitan Apartments always strives for the highest standards. We are delighted we made your experience a positive one!
The good: Location, views, walkability, covered parking, nice maintenance staff The bad: 2 elevators, 1 usually broken, amenities aren't great but are good enough. Has 2 pools and new treadmills in workout area. The AWFUL: office doesn't return phone calls or emails, and when you stop by during office hours they are closed more than they are open. I once tried to go during Sunday hours and someone was there with a U-Haul to pick up her key and move in and had been waiting for 2 hours. As a single person I can't buy an extra key fob to give to someone in case of emergency or to check on my apartment or pick up packages if I am out of town for more than a week at a time. I know renting is not the same as owning, but this takes it to another level. It also doesn't help that tenants let their dogs do their business in the hallway and do not clean it up.

You can reach out to us at (501) 371-9988. We hope to find a solution promptly.
To start out positive, the location is AWESOME!!!!! Unfortunately, the office management/staff left A LOT to be desired. They did not return phone calls, emails, etc. I'm not sure if anything classified as an "emergency" when a maintenance request was submitted. One time there was water flooding my apartment, I submitted a maintenance request and was very specific with the issues going on. Long story short....at the end of the day when I arrived home after work no maintenance repair person had even been in my apartment to repair the leak!! Water leaked in the hallway and inside 2 of my closets and some of my things were sitting in water!! I had to call the office staff and demand that someone come repair the leak. The fire alarms would go off in the middle of the night all the time and it took hours before they were turned off/reset, etc. The entry gates to the parking garage were non-functional a lot of the time. If you live in a one bedroom apartment by yourself they will only allow you one entry remote and one door key (even though up to 2 people can occupy the apartment). They will not let a single person pay for an extra remote or door key. Some people would like to have an extra remote and door key. There is not a lot of cabinet space in the kitchen and the drawers are so small that you can't even fit a silverware tray organizer in any of the drawers. They will not let you tour the actual apartment that you will be living in. You may only tour the "model" apartment. You will only be able to see your apartment on the day you move in. I had lived in a few apartment complexes in the past, so I knew what apartment living was like before moving in these apartments. My expectations of these apartments were normal, but I was very disappointed when these apartments didn't even meet a normal level of expectation. I would not refer this apartment complex to anyone. Drive by and admire the exterior, but keep on driving. It is not worth the amount of money you will waste by living there.

t’s sad when the alarms go off for over 2 hours (and they are still going off) and management doesn’t answer for the residents...what is worse is when they don’t answer the phone (or return calls) when the fire department has been trying to contact them for the past 2 hours...who is running this place because online it shows management as NONE which makes complete sense now...

Thank you for your review, as we appreciate all feedback in order to better streamline our processes. We apologize for the inconvenience of the alarms, and we are taking immediate steps to remedy the issue. We appreciate your patience and are working to better serve our residents. Please feel free to call our leasing office with any questions or to discuss further.
The staff is so rude to residents. I’ve been here for 2 years now and the staff when I first arrived was way better. This staff is so unaccomadating and constantly make mistakes when it comes to paying our bill. They’ve revoked necessary ammenties for residents(such as bulk trash disposal, parking, etc). Completely not worth it for the price listed and then to be spoken to rudely and constantly have ammenties taken away. Would not recommend!

I have been a resident at metropolitan for a few years and I absolutely love it here. The location is so ideal. The office staff really takes care of me. Tasha and Kelsey are so professional and have great customer service skills. I would recommend this community to anyone!
Numerous car break ins. Management with no concern for resident safety or security. UPS, FedEx, and USPS refuse to leave packages. The ATM was even destroyed recently.
Nice staff, lovely apartment homes, in a wonderful community. Can't wait until my move in day next week!!!
