The community is always clean, it’s super quiet in the building I’m in. The duck pond and dog park is an added plus. The neighbors are extremely friendly during Beyrl all the neighbors were checking in on the elderly people that lives here and making sure they were ok. These apartments are definitely a small community. Food trucks come every Tuesday! The leasing office keeps it 100% professional

The move in experience was smooth, I was a little thrown back by the visitor parking situation since I was initially told visitors were fine anytime as long as they just parked in visitor specific spots. However when I came in they said it was only a handful of visitor parking passes I get a month. The apartment was thoroughly cleaned at the time of move in.

My experience here is good the only thing is when I first moved in, the water in the sink does not drain and food starts coming up. I still haven’t had someone come and look at it.

I had the pleasure of working with Tiffany, and I can confidently say she is a gem! From our very first interaction, her bright personality and genuine enthusiasm made the apartment hunting process so much more enjoyable. What stood out the most was her warm and welcoming attitude. She created a friendly atmosphere that made me feel comfortable to ask the million questions that I had for her, and she answered them all. If you're looking for someone who is not only professional but also uplifting and supportive, I highly recommend reaching out to Tiffany, but for the most part the apartment was everything that I was looking for!

It was an easy process to move in and overall had a great experience with staff. They respond to emails fast and include all information you may need to know in the beginning. The renovated apartments are nice and the area around feels more homey with a lake and greenery around. The only thing I wish was that the washer and dryer were bigger. They’re a smaller than normal washers and dryers, so I have to do multiple loads that a normal one could complete in 1-2 rounds. Overall though, the people are friendly, the area is very pet friendly, and it has a good experience so far.
Property Manager at Meyer Forest, Responded To This Review
We appreciate your positive feedback and are glad to hear that you found the move-in process smooth and our team responsive. We're also pleased that you're enjoying the renovated spaces and the natural surroundings. We take note of your comment about the washer and dryer size and will consider this for future improvements. We're happy to know that you're having a good experience and finding our community pet-friendly. Sincerely, The Meyer Forest Management Team
The pictures did not lie. When looking into apartments a big concern is whether the units look as they do in pictures, so I was relieved to see that Meyer Forest promotes accurate pictures and even provides virtual tours.

Ever since the moment I walked in the leasing office to request a tour, up to the moment I met with Karina and received the keys to my new home, I have been met with kindness, a smile, and a willingness to assist me in every way to help ensure my experience was smooth and easy. I really appreciate all of the support. Thank you!

Great neighborhood (extremely convenient and close to shopping centers). Management was so fast in clearing up the complex after the Hurricane. Clear communication was much appreciated!

Good: apartments are cute, plenty of shopping and restaurants around, close enough to Downtown, cute ducks Cons: management and safety - I had my car broken into and vandalized in the parking lot recently. This was after the gate to enter had been broken and left open for a week. I was told that the gate was for access, not security, and that the security patrol had the night off when the incident occurred. I had to practically beg for a spot in a locked garage. Management constantly changes, they don’t care, and they’re terrible at communicating. Nice enough complex, but stay away, safety isn’t a priority.
Property Manager at Meyer Forest, Responded To This Review
Hi, please know that we would never condone such actions in our community. Please contact us via 1 713-721-8020 or meyerforestmgr@willowbridgepc.com as soon as possible so we can discuss this mishap in person with you. We look forward to speaking with you so we can properly address this issue. Sincerely, The Meyer Forest Management Team
Not worth the money. I dealt with plumbing issues, electrical issues, bug infestation, and horrible management both in the apartment office as well as corporate. They ignore service requests and you have to go in the office to speak to anyone because they never answer the phone. Don’t waste your money of time leasing here. Beautiful lake though..

I really like the pond and walking area, and seeing the ducks on the pond. So relaxing. Also love having a dog park on site! I have a renovated unit and it is very modern, clean and comfortable. Had a very minor issue recently and the manager resolved it immediately. This is a good place to live.
Monday I went to tour this community and it was just amazing. I loved how Tori stood up and greeted as soon as I walked into the office. I loved how amazing the community look can't wait to submit my application.
I am just so pleased today with the office people. I have never had a negative experience here before but today I just stopped by the office because I had a couple of questions and was hoping they can help in any way. They listened to me, heard me and understood me as a human, and I have always known this about them but today its a different level and earlier this week I had a couple maintenance request that I thought may take some time to get done, but the office people had maintenance work in my apartment and fix my 2 issues. I love this area and I am happy to be living here, i really am.
It’s not worth the luxury price to have smoke always in you apartment when you have a newborn and they do nothing about it, the walls are the thinnest I ever experienced. Parking is horrible, they charge for trash but there is only two dumpsters in the whole complex, so most people have to walk a long way just to throw away trash, mantaince just puts band- aids on problems and never comes back to fix them
PROS 1.my apartment is nicely updated with newer appliances, granite counter tops, large walk in shower and walk in closet, crown molding, large patio 2.no bugs in my apartment I’ve only seen a roach in my apartment twice since I’ve lived here and I think they got in from an open door. Never seen a spider inside my apartment and especially not any rats. 3.maintenance is relatively quick to come and fix any issues I have usually within three days 4. Love the pond inside the apartment complex with the ducks and turtles it’s nice to be able to go outside and feed them. 5.neighbors are friendly in my building CONS 1. Within the first three months of moving here there was a large drug bust I’m assuming what happened in my building. The narcotics team was invading someone’s apartment and they didn’t let me go in my apartment for a while during the invasion and it was unsettling. 2. I’ve heard gunshots on two separate occasions right outside my window on w bellfort and one of these occasions was last night I heard seven shots and my boyfriend said it looked like a drive by shooting he was outside to see the car it was terrifying. 4. Dumpsters are ALWAYS FULL AND OVERFLOWING and stink up the parking lot. Apartments in general are covered in trash throughout the property one day there was a dirty diaper just sitting on the floor in front of my garage. I see the cleaning people outside constantly cleaning but I notice there’s a lot of young people living here and probably just don’t care about keeping the property clean. 5. Within the past 7 months there’s been tire slashing three separate occasions and nothing ever gets done about it. Whenever this happens all of the neighbors are outside taking about how ridiculous the security is here. 6. Speaking of security there is only one security guard that we have to share with the sister apartments across the street so there isn’t constant security around the apartments... which clearly need it. 7. Things are constantly breaking in my apartment and paint peels off so easily off of doors and the tiles on the shower floor were painted and peels off onto my feet every time I step in the shower... some things are kind of cheaply done in the apartment 8.the people in the office are a little incompetent. Say they’re going to do something and you have to call two or three more times for it to get done. 9. Apartments are covered in dog poop even though there’s potty stations (not many) and the cleaning people are alw
Excellent location ; friendly staff ; caring for providing events and free activities; clean and on time maintenance of the property . Highly recommended !
Love the pool area! Love that there is a beautiful park across the street. All the neighborhood around is calm, very good to go running or go for a walk. It is near supermarkets, stores, restaurants, Meyerland Plaza, and many more places. Love my apartament structure of 2 bedrooms. The gym is cool too. Oh! and they have great social events, every time they get better!
The new staff is way better from the time I moved in. I live on the 2nd floor so my apartment is partially updated. It seems that I'm ALWAYS having to get maintenance to fix the A/C, it's literally ridiculous. Then the paint on the doors is way too easy to mess up. When I first moved in there was stuff missing, my plastic shower knob was cracked, and wet paint on the shower floor. It's an alright apartment complex.
We felt right at home! The staff is very friendly. The neighbors are very helpful and it’s very quiet and peaceful environment.
I love these apartments. The staff is very welcoming and warm with any issues that you may have. Happy to live here.
Don’t live here. Apartments are moldy, infested with ants and roaches, and outdated. (They are nothing like the pictures online). Office staff (except for Joanie) is incompetent and difficult to work with. Apartment roof was leaking from rain, and it took days for maintenance to come fix it. AC doesn’t keep up with Texas summers. Often 80 inside when the thermostat is set to 73. Not safe. Several robberies and car break-it’s while we have lived here. They have “security” on property occasionally at night, but they don’t potrol. He just sits in the car with the lights on. First floor apartments still aren’t fixed from Harvey. Parking lot often floods with heavy rain. Friend lost her car.
they purposely hold back certain information so they can fine you at the end of your lease. I've lived here for a year, made all my payments on time but they couldn't extend the courtesy to be responsive on email and phone or even letter. The manager is the worst of the worst. She feels super entitled for no apparent reason. She was unbelievably rude and unprofessional to me and my husband. Please save yourselves the headache and leave this apartment alone.
I've lived in many apartments in the past yet I've never dealt with a group of unprofessional people. The current manager has the nastiest attitude for no apparent reason. If you disagree with them on anything, they make it their job to create the worst living environment for their tenants. I lived there for a year but ended up having to move out at the end of the lease due to negligence and horrible living situation because of Hurricane Harvey.
Flood zone. Management team is subpar. Joanie is decent, Erica is useless and rude. Good luck getting someone to answer the phone or call you back. The price is not worth the hassle.

I recently went in to view the community and I immediately felt comfortable. All my questions about the property and rent were answered and the young lady who help assist me was very sweet and did not hesitate to take me out and show me one of the apartments and around the community. Best assists I had during my apartment search.

I've been living in this apartment complex for about 2 years, NO complain at all! Sure will keep renewing my lease, especially with the new management team. The new team members, e.g. Tevin, are very very friendly, efficient, and can get things done on behalf of the residents. Disclosure: this is my first time to write a Apartment review, believe me, it is from my real experience!
The office staff are friendly but inefficient and not knowledgeable also the manager lacks empathy, customer service and people skills she is not friendly. I placed numerous work orders for maintenance and they never dispatch them in a timely manner. The community has a serious pest issue although you pay a monthly pest control fee. When we first moved in there was metal and wood debris all over the carpeting in our unit. The grounds and landscape is well kept. Tenants however leave their trash outside of their doors in the walkways which is very unsightly. Maintenance access your unit without prior approval. Had a issue where they knocked twice then used their keys to access. They also enter with the shoes and walk on your carpeting tracking dirt indoors. They have one entry access gate which serves the whole community for walk in and drive in and its always opened.( this gate has to be used for entry and exit all other gates are chained. I would not recommend this community to anyone. They look great on the website and from the outside but it has been a nightmare for the amount of money they require.

My wife and I have never had any problems with any other apartments we've lived at. We've lived in a few places on the east coast. We paid rent online on August 1st by giving our account information. We paid it the EXACT same way we paid our security deposit when we moved in. We never saw our payment on our online banking account on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th. Each of these days I called the leasing office to see if there was a problem and they said everything was fine "in their system". I specifically remember asking if anything happens in a week or two that showed a payment didn't occur, would there be any issues and they said no. Kelly and Shawna were the ladies I spoke directly to. On the 4th we received an email saying the payment had been returned. I called to see what the problem was and they STILL said that everything "in the system" was showing fine with the payment. So we let it go. Two weeks later on the 18th my wife and I get home from work with a note on the front door from the property saying we never paid our rent and we must move out on the 20th, TWO days later. Needless to say we couldn't sleep that night. The next morning I was at the leasing office as soon as they opened. I spoke with Kelly and told her we paid rent the same way we did the deposit, called the three days following the payment to make sure it cleared and even called again when we got an email saying the payment was returned. Kelly told me just because I received a confirmation email when I paid online doesn't mean the payment actually went through. This blew my mind! She said it was a banking error and I had to prove to them the bank was at fault. Kelly said she would call her assistant manager and call me back that day and never did. I also asked why I didn't receive a phone call to begin with once they had realized the payment had been returned. She said they are very busy in the office and courtesy calls like that are never made to residents. I informed her I had received exactly six calls from the property about follow up phone calls for work-order requests we had made, but yet I can't receive a courtesy phone call about an error for a late rent payment? The only explanation she had was that the work order courtesy calls come from a different department. She charged us $160 in late fees and said it had to be paid by money order immediately. She did not see our frustration in the least, wasn't willing to work with us and kept hiding behind her corporate protocol.
The apartment is terrible!!! I really want to give it no star. Think clearly and not just attracted by the big lake view there, which actually is filled with dog poops. Here are the reasons you need to consider: 1. I was robbed here, just before the gate. The leasing officer told me what you would expect since you were at houston. They did not realize this may be their problem but they blamed it to the city which none of us could change. More importantly, they never warn the other residents for this robbery, and just want to hide this! 2. Roaches everywhere. Live here you need to learn how to live with roaches, your closest neighbor. 3. They tried to charge you a lot when you moved away. When I moved away, they had some wield rules that they would walk through the room and tell what you need to repair. At that time, I thought this was great, which made the after-moveout charge more transparent. As you would expect, the manager told us nothing for charge, and after we moved out several weeks, a bill for $400 came and non-stop calling for payment came. I was so frustrated to understand why I need to pay so much beyond my $300 deposit over there.
We've been living here for almost three years, and so far our experience has great. The landscape is beautiful; it has many green spaces with fountains that look just beautiful at night. The management is very friendly and welcoming. We always have fun at the parties they make, and the food is delicious. They have three-bedroom units, which is the one we live in, and the distribution is great. We're four people living in our apartment, and we're very comfortable here.
The apartment complex is comfortable but not luxury. The office staff is ok but not exceptional. The rent prices are reasonable for the location, the age of the complex should begin to lower the price. The complex is located next to a bayou and the parking lot has flooded recently. So be sure to have insurance on the vehicles.
I have been living in this apartment complex for three years and just recently renewed my lease for another year, their awesome customer services made me feel warm and welcome everyday, that is the main reason why I love living here, because they made me feel important.
I chose to move in to this community because it's close to the Medical Center, but what I found was that this community is close to almost everything. There is no need to drive great distances to find your favorite retail stores - they're a mile away at the shops in Meyerland Plaza. The drive to downtown is quick, but if you're commuting in for work, it can be quite daunting in morning rush hour traffic. Getting back to the property in the evenings usually takes at least 45 minutes from downtown - more depending on traffic conditions. The floor plans are great. My most favorite thing about this community is that they provide a washer and dryer inside every unit. In my opinion, the worst thing about the property is that the management team seems understaffed. They don't pick up the phone & are slow to return calls. All things considered I'm a happy resident.
