Property Ratings at Miamiview Apartments
My husband and I met with Deanna. She talked to us about our wants and needs for our new apartment. She listened to all of it and helped us choose the perfect unit. She was very attentive. Answered our many questions and walked us through the entire process of application, fees and amenities/. Thank you to the team, especially Deanna.

Lived here for two years. Fairly satisfied with my experience here. Relative to the market now, the pricing was fairly affordable and reasonable. The office staff was generally accessible and helpful when needed. For the most part the campus was well maintained and cared for. It’s not in the most vibrant area but if you are seeking distance and isolation this is a good option. Negatives were generally relegated to things out of their control, namely the tenets, which was the primary reason I departed from the location. The apartment is generally modernized to a certain degree, the amenities are nice. The pool was fairly decent, a nice playground for kids and athletic options like a basketball court: the lack of a gym or clubhouse was a negative. The maintenance crew was very efficient and quick to fix any issues. The building is LOUD. You will hear your neighbors and their pets and children. If peace is crucial, might want to find something else. The parking situation was always terrible as parking rules were regularly violated. Another key reason for my departure. This isn’t likely to be a forever destination for someone but for all its warts, you really could do worse.
My family and I moved here 5 years ago. Since then, most of the people here have moved out of the apt. building I live in. WiFi hardly works. They shut down the water about once a month. Run while you can.
This is the worst office ran company. I paid all the money, including down payment. Application fee, multiple other fees. I did not move in and did not sign any forms. It has been a month and they will not return phone calls or emails. I want my money back. Do not put money here, they will take it and not give it back. I did not sign a lease.
Management was a joke! After touring, we paid $99 retainer fee. We were told this was just to hold the apartment (while they did our credit checks)so it wouldn’t be rented to anyone else. A week later, they told us we were approved but we’d be required to pay first month, sixth months and last months rent up front. When we toured, they told us to move in it would cost $865 for first months rent deposit (half first months rent minus the $99 we already paid so $333.50) making the total $1198.50 ( water and WiFi was included in that price) But now they’re saying we needed $2694 to move in??They said this was d/t us being first time renters. So fast forward to lease signing day we have the $2694 but surprise surprise now they’re saying water IS NOT included and it would cost ANOTHER $45/month and guess what we needed to give them the 3 months of that up front also... so ANOTHER $135 just to move in. Needless to say, we said absolutely not. They told me that wasn’t a problem my $99 retainer fee would be refunded into my account within 30 days. Two months later, still no $99. I called them after the first month they said give it another week. I waited and called them again but this time Krystal told me I would not be refunded the $99 d/t we cancelled more than 48 hours after being approved. Even though the only reason we cancelled was because they increasing the price and adding more charges. If you value your money or time do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place!!

We prioritize the comfort of our guests, so we always take the time to train each of our professionals thoroughly and ensure they can provide consistent and superior service. However, your feedback suggests that there may have been some lapses in our communication quality recently, and we're sorry about that. We'll look into these matters right away so the leasing experience here improves going forward. Thank you for your review; we wish you the best.
I lived here during school for a year and I had such a great experience! I felt very safe, which was a huge priority for both myself and my roommate. We both came from towns of less than 8,000 people, so having a small town feel while being close to shopping/entertainment was important to us. The internet worked fairly well for being free, and the cable was nice too! Every once and a while the internet would go out, but since it was free we understood that. I would say 95% of the time the internet was good though. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex to everyone. We had more than enough room for the two of us. We didn't have any major problems at all, and Margo was great to work with!

Thank you for sharing your warm recommendation of our community! It's wonderful to know that your time here with us made such a positive impression. Margo and the rest of our team wish you all the best in your new location!
My daughter just got accepted at Miamiview and I am SO excited! I lived in the complex a total of 11 years and I absolutely LOVED it there! 1) It is always clean and well landscaped. Snow removal is top-notch! Only ONCE was there a delay and that was due to severe weather and the snow removal guy had an accident on his way in. Maintenance was there within 30 minutes and continued to clear snow even after the regular guy showed up. 2) In eleven years, there was only only ONE act of vandalism where two teens broke into a few cars. They were reported and their families were evicted. 3) Maintenance is on top of things! Most ALL needed repairs were completed within 24 hours. (replacing my HVAC took two days). Emergencies are handled the same day! 4) I never had any issues with DirectTV or Internet. Yes, it went down on a couple occasions, but it was fixed and running within a reasonable time. I had a laptop at the time and the Wi-Fi throughout the complex grounds was great! I could sit on my patio and work. 5) In eleven years, I never saw more than an infrequent spider. The buildings are well maintained and clean! 6) The storage units are convenient and large! 7) The office personnel are terrific! 8) The buildings are quiet and all complaints (which I personally ever had any) were handled quickly and professionally. 9) The rooms are all fairly large with great floor plans, and there are ample cabinets in the kitchen. 10) There is plenty of parking for you and guests. 11) You will be living in a serene, park-like setting with birds and wildlife(deer)nearby. 12) It is perfectly located in that you can access I-275/74 in less than 5 minutes. Airport is 30 minutes; Indiana state line 15 minutes; downtown Cincinnati is 20 minutes; Northgate Mall, Ronald Reagan Highway and vicinity is 15 minutes; Kentucky is 20 minutes. Kroger (Northgate or Cleves) 10-15 minutes, and there is a convenient mart at the Marathon gas station less than 1/4 mile away. Very convenient! Unfortunately, I am retired and on a fixed income, or I would be living there still!
Finally moved out after several years. I would strongly suggest that folks looking for an apartment look elsewhere. The management here is ineffective and does not like to be bothered with issues. Maintenance of the buildings is almost non-existent. Shop around and you will find, less expensive and better managed apartments.
I am only writing this review because I would like to laugh at the people below me just a little I just applied and was accepted for an apartment at Miamiview, and then I came to read a little more on what others thought that had lived there, now, I do have a friend that lives there, I know he enjoys the complex, and has no complaints himself, but I just wanna clear up a few things Ok so internet. The person below said she had internet issues. Well, duh If you knew anything about how bandwidth worked you would have know soon as you were told free internet, that it would be groggy, super slow, and very iffy to even connect to, do you know how many people are downloading uploading surfing facebook, watching stupid videos on that internet connection at the same time The mere fact that you could actually connect once just amazes me, the place is huge Also, kinda funny you down the people in the office, the very first thing she said right after she said internet was, there are a lot of people on it, I would get your own if you plan on really needing to use it a lot. It's a free perk doesn't mean that have to bend to your complaint that they are not shelling out thousands more than what they already are for a few more terabytes of bandwidth to make sure apartment whatever you were has internet. Dish TV, well ya they can cut your wire, they are taking care of the apartments the way they were hired to, so if the TWC guy puts a wire in their way, they are going to cut it, which I have a few people I know that work for TWC they go willy nilly with were they run their wires, so chances are you had a in a rush tech comes out, throw some stuff together, and leave a mess in front of wires that the Dish guy needed to get to, and since it wasn't theirs they installed they went heck with it and cut it. Sorry about your luck, go stand and watch them install, ask questions, that's how you get not sloppy work Ok now bugs, neat freak huh, nope.. I'm from Middletown Oh Like capital of slum lords, I have lived in places that would turn your stomach, yet you walk in my apartment, and nothing.. Not a roach, bedbug, spider, nothing.. Why? Because it takes just a few dollars and a few minutes to buy some baby powder and put it along your baseboards and in the light sockets, just a fine line, that cannot be seen, and it will dry out and kill just about anything that crawls through it you might see a bug on your wall but upon a closer look will notice it is dead.
Swimming pool, tennis court and basketball court. Frequent deer and bird sightings. Very close to I-74 and I-275. You can be in Cincinnati in 20 minutes and at the airport in 30. Great school district(Southwest Local). 1 & 2 bedroom apartments...some with balconies, master bedroom has walk in closet...and 3 bedroom townhomes.
Miamiview Apartments & Town homes has made an amazing turn around and have an amazing staff & Management team that care and do an outstanding job to make everyone happy, safe and complete all maintenance request in a timely manner by certified Hvac service technicians. They have 24 hour emergency maintenance if needed. The improvements to the property are second to none!!!! Just to list a few of the many projects they are fixing the roads, new roofs, new basketball, tennis & volleyball courts, Rehabbed apartments, free wifi & free directv for all tenants. They have a big beautiful swimming pool. This property is under video surveillance 24 hours a day with new security lighting throughout the complex and a police and fire department just outside the entrance to this complex and the Elementary school is just across the street and less than a 1/4 of a mile from interstate 74 / 275!! Also there is a hospital, dining, bars, entertainment & shopping just minutes from this secluded & private community and this property is adjacent to Miamiview golf course and just down the street from Miami Whitewater Forest / Park. We are happy tenants and plan on living for a long time. Miamiview Apartments has got it going on!!!!
I lived there twice. Once in a 2 bedroom and then several years later in a town home. Very nice and well maintained complex. Easy access to interstate 74. Quiet community. Never had any complaints or problems.
After 2 years of living here, I'm am fed up! I had to take some time out of my day to let other people know that if you have a choice, DO NOT MOVE IN HERE! I know that I did a lot of research before we chose to live here and if I had come across a truthful post as I am about to write here, I would have ran in the other direction. Just be aware that if you move into this complex, don't expect the "extra amenities" that are promised as part the "deal". Don't really expect anything except an overpriced roof over your head. You can decide for yourself but let me tell you about our experience here: 1. We've been paying for our own internet since the time we moved in. What they don't tell you about the 'free' cable and internet, is that you share with the entire building. So the internet is maxed out and basically doesn't work. So if you need or even want to use the internet, you are going to have to pay for it. 2. If you decide to pay for your own internet or even cable, DirectTV reps will cut your line (Miamiview contracts through DirectTV). Apparently it's not against the law for them to destroy property of another company. It's happened to us twice now and I've had to have TWC come out and fix a line that was intentionally cut by DirectTV. By the way, Miamiview won't do anything about it. 3. My air conditioning unit was broke for 2 months in the summer with sweltering heat pushing over 100 the entire time. I called nearly every day trying to find out when they would come to fix it. They gave me the runaround every time. 4. My water heater broke and it took them 2 weeks to fix it. We had no hot water for 2 weeks!!! When they finally decided they couldn't fix it they finally replaced it entirely. When they did that, they destroyed some of my property while replacing it. 5. The garbage disposal broke and ruined everything underneath, it took them 4 days to fix it. 6. We have bugs galore. This is the first apartment complex I've lived in that they do not take care of the problem. I mean I have found every possible type of bug you could name. I have even found spiders in my bed! Centipedes on the ceiling. Roaches on the porch. When I called to complain, they said I needed to go buy some Raid to take care of the problem. Please keep in mind that, that my fiancee and I are clean freaks. 7. The front door of the apartment complex has been broken for nearly 6 months now and they said they don't plan on fixing it. 8. Last, but certainly NOT LEAST and the straw that has broken the camels back (so to speak), the dryer has now been broken for 2 months. Last summer the dryer was BROKEN FOR 6 MONTHS. Last summer, I called nearly every day and every single time I would get the run-around. They kept saying that they had to order a part.... No one in that office has a clue what is going on or they are paid to act stupid. Today, I called to see if they dryer was fixed and she told me yes... So I put a dollar in the machine, only to find out that it is still BROKEN! So now I have to waste my time and money yet again to drive down to the front office to get my money back. A few other notes... -I have a friend that lives down a few buildings. We have the exact same units and she pays $100 less than me a month. I was told when we moved in that all the rents would be increasing soon to this new amount. Two years later, nothing has changed. I'm still paying $100 more than my friend for the exact same thing. -The roads have been torn up for about a month now because they are repairing from the winter. But they don't seem to care if you damage your car because metal and wood are sticking out everywhere and your supposed to drive over it. - ALSO, you know how bad the road is by the cemetery, when you are going to come up the hill? Don't ever expect that to be fixed. Granted it's not Miamiview property (but I fail to believe that they couldn't push to have the City of Cleves take care of it). At some points, if you go over 2 mph, you'll pop a tire because the pot holes are so bad. I've seen it happen. -Don't be fooled by the "nice/inviting" little front office building. It's frustrating to walk in there and it's nice and clean and not destroyed. TRUST ME, that's not what you get when you live here. Decide for yourself, but consider yourself warned. If I can help it, I don't want these jerks to take advantage of anyone else. They do not deserve your business!
