Stretching north from Allentown along the Lehigh River to Spring Street, Whitehall is a family-friendly township with terrific shopping and a fascinating history. Along MacArthur Road, Whitehall’s “Golden Strip,” you’ll find the vast Lehigh Valley Mall, one of the region’s largest indoor malls, as well as Whitehall Mall and several strip plazas. This is also where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, from local favorites like Whitehall Diner to popular chains and mall staples.
Formed in 1752, Whitehall was supposedly named for a hunting lodge in the area. Lynford Lardner, the lodge’s owner, painted it with a whitewash and although the lodge was named “Grouse Hall,” everyone referred to it as the “white hall.” One of the historic landmarks in Whitehall, the Helfrich Springs Grist Mill, was built in 1807. Today, it is owned by the Whitehall Historical Society and is open to the public for special events, scheduled tours, and monthly meetings.

Property Ratings at Mickley Run Apartments
On summer the A.C barely works houses gets 95+ you call them and they come act like they did something and then leave! Energy bills comes worst and worst!! I ended up going to a Hotel for few days with my family! That’s something I would never no one to experience!
Kids are a problem in the summer they let them run around and hit cars in the parking lots. The water is white always getting shut off and me. Rooter is always here. The water is white and needs to set out a full day before you can use it. Some of the fronts of the apartments are dirty from people not keeping their area clean . Cops are in and out of this place .
Constant water problems including water getting shut off and nobody letting you know, dirt on the water when you turn on faucet also white water?! I had a mice problem that I had to take care of myself, nails sticking out of my carpet, light switches don't work. When you call to get something fixed you practically have to beg, my toilet is old and disgusting and they still refuse to give me a new one. Everyone from the office to corporate treat you like your just a rent check and not a valued tenant. Do not waste your money on this place I sure wish i hadn't!
Is a nice area to live and the apartment are big I like my apartment and is bug free
I went in to see a 2 bedroom & the leasing manager took us to this empty 2 bedroom that smelled awful. She claims the carpet was just put down & it won't smell like that after putting furniture in. We wanted to see a 1 bedroom but she tells us no 1bedrooms are available. After seeing the 2 bedroom & coming back to office this call came in in which we overhear her telling that person 1 bedroom will be available September 19. I thought no 1 bedrooms were available till the end of the year as she stated when we first came in the office. The apartment community looks awful. The buildings need to be painted & work done. I do not recommend this apartment community.
I am moving here in december. I went to look at the apartments, very clean and neat. I would recommend this apartment cmplex
