Property Ratings at Midtown 360
I've lived at Midtown 350 for almost 6 years now. I have nothing to complain about. They are very friendly in the front office - as are all the maintenance staff. I get very quick response to anything that I need in the way or repairs. I have a beautiful view, and they don't charge you extra for that like some places. The amenities here are fabulous. The clubhouse looks like something from a high-end facility. The roof top venue is really amazing and a great plus. And the work our room looks like something from a regular size gym. Beautiful pool but I do feel that it is small for the size of the facility. It was fine when there were only 2 buildings but now there are 4. And the grounds are beautifully kept with flowers in the spring and summertime and lights at Christmas time. Underground safe parking. What is not to like? I plan on continuing to live here.
I've been living in Midtown 360 for at least 5 years now, the treatment of the residents has greatly decreased in that space of time. The Office will not extend the courtesies of understanding, fairness, or charity to you. My recommendation is to be cautions in giving it to them. It is now no longer their policy to reciprocate. There is a 3 day grace period for rent. The practice now is that rent must be paid during those 3 days regardless of whether the office is accessible or not, regardless of whether they are closed for the weekend, and regardless of whether they are closed for a holiday during those 3 days. Also, the office does not care whether you know the amount you owe or not. If you ask them for fair treatment they will talk down to you, tell you that you should have magically known how much money you needed to pay and 'why didn't you think to shove the check between the office doors and onto the floor' while they were closed. Then they will fine you the late fees anyway. Charging you for more money and as much as they can is the only thing that matters to them. They see you as cattle to be milked and nothing more. Sadly, it wasn't always like this, but it is now. My recommendation is to find an apartment that will treat you with the respect and dignity that you as a tenant deserve.
This apartment complex is terrible. For starters, the repairs take forever. We have currently been without power on the second floor of our unit for over a week now. They also charge 5 to 6 times more for utilities than any other apartment or home I am aware of. I live here by myself and my utilities are more expensive than my parents house who have 5 people living in a 4000 SQ home. There is also a massive construction project going on in the apartment complex and there is nonstop beeping and loud sounds mom-sat from 6 am until about 5-6 pm. just saying this because I think anyone shopping for an apartment in the orem area would be much happier living somewhere else.
This place is kept clean and orderly my building is the place to live if you are sensitive to noise as it's almost NON-existent. The team running this property as of( 9/21) is top-notch, always smiling, attentive and happy to help. If I were to have been a long-term apt renter I would call this, home.
I will just be completely honest, midtown is not a good place to live. I've been towed twice here with no warning beforehand, the parking is just nonexistent above ground and if you want to park in the garage its another fee. Also, they will not let you sell your contract mid-lease (even though we had more than 10 people willing to buy.) Also the appliances in the apartment are cheap and don't work well, the hot water runs out after about 10 minutes, although the washer and dryer did work well. Also the common areas are disgusting since they allow pets, there were dog poop and pee in the stairs and elevator almost every day. Management is just sketchy in general. Pretty bummed that I was dumb enough to sign a lease there. I would not recommend midtown.
DO NOT LIVE HERE. They have so many hidden fees. They don't care about their tenants. Park in the wrong spot? You'll get towed and be out HUNDREDS of dollars. Their contract is INSANE too. Even if you have an involuntary job change, school change, or health condition that makes it so you need to move, you're still stuck in your contract. Need to sell your contract because you can't afford to stay there after realizing how many hidden fees there are? You can't sell it. You're stuck. BE WARNED!
This is the only site I’ve seen where there are positive reviews about this place. Make sure you go to multiple sites and you’ll see the truth. The only positive thing about this place is the location to supermarkets and stores. That’s it. This place is all about making money and do not care about their residents. The staff are the worst I’ve ever seen and have so much attitude. You ask simple questions and they are rude. There was only one lady who was nice but the rest I want to forget about. Some owners let dogs pee or poo in the elevator and hallways. I could always hear my neighbor upstairs every time they walked around. Also they have no online platform to pay for rent or manage requests. I have to call or bring a check every month to pay. They always ask for my personal info when I’ve been living there a year. It’s like we are still living from 15 years ago. I don’t understand how they even operate. My new place is actually using technology like it’s 2021 and so much better with staff who treat me like a valued customer. Do yourself a favor and rent elsewhere.
First off, horrible management. There is a huge lack of communication and whenever I had a problem they were slow to get back. Second, I moved here because my sister was moving and I took over her contract. There was a promotion that if you referred a friend, both the friend and the person that referred them would get a discount. This never happened. They made me pay the first months rent a week before I even moved in. Lastly, there is no parking. Every single time it was full and so i started parking in retail and got towed. I had to pay a 294 dollar towing fee. Do yourself a favor and just live somewhere else.
They told us that there would be enough parking on the south side. After we signed our contract they gave a lot of the parking away to retail parking. There is no where to park unless you want to pay them $60 a month. Me and all my room mates got towed because we parked in the retail because there was no where else to park. The company Midtown works with is Knights towing. They charged each one of us $288 which is way overpriced. I do not recommend this place. They overcharge you and they will take advantage of you.
Rules are always changing, fees are always popping up. Poor communication between the office and the tenants and will sign for your mail packages and then “lose“ them. Most aggravating place I’ve ever lived.
About 4 years ago, my husband and I decided to sell our home and move into an apartment. We had seen these buildings go up from the very beginning. We decided to stop and see them mostly our of curiosity. We fell in love with the apartment we selected and have never regretted moving in. We wondered if we could take the traffic noise, the student parties, would it meet our health needs. We don't notice the traffic except for sirens, the students we rarely see let alone hear and let me add, the ones we have met have all been very kind and helpful to us old folks. For a few years we were the only old folks around. We are now seeing more and more seniors now and that is good. I might mention the support staff is great. They respond to our needs in a timely manner and have always been courteous and polite to us. We absolutely love them all. Midtown is in a great location for us. Close to stores and amenities, doctors, easy to access. Those are important for us seniors. I am proud to recommend Midtown 360 as a choice in your retirement or while attending college.
I am writing this review because i just recently moved in one of the units and its a beautiful place to live.I lived all over the world and this place is one of the best.Especially the management when i moved in my place everything was new but the fridge was making a noise.I went to the leasing office the next day and they replaced it within minutes. The people and management here are wonderful to work with especially the manager Brittney. So if you want to live in a beautiful place and have everything taken care of please come on down. Thank you everybody
If you want to do yourself a favor, don't live here. Between the constant noise construction to the construction in the hallways, you'll never hear a quiet moment. The offer luxury at the expense of over priced miss leading amenities. We were promised a pool, and a basketball court by fall in 2018. Never happened. This place is managed improperly. We paid our rent but got an eviction notice. Frantic, I went to the office and watched the manager go through every check just to find our paid rent check. They have no idea what their doing. Please save yourself from trouble and don't live here.
To say this place is horrible is an extreme understatement. Every positive review about this place is a paid review. It is nowhere near worth the cost, there are other apartment complexes within a half mile that both cost less and have significantly nicer units. The only place to find amenities is advertised on the website; there is no pool and they are not doing construction on a pool, the gym is very poor and lacks even basic appropriate equipment. There are tons of additional hidden fees (example; utilities for the office and hallways). You're stuck paying for an "entertainment package" if you use it or not. The internet was spotty for months on said entertainment package, random disconnects, outages, etc. Frequently there is no water heat and/or water pressure on random days. There is constant construction going all day and sometimes all night such as when they recently decided to pour concrete from 2am-9am. Don't believe the hype and marketing; the units are not sound proof enough to cover the sounds of all day construction. The trash chutes are often clogged and management has posed that they are going to add additional fees for unclogging them even though trash fees are already charged. They have towed my car for no reason (costs over $200 to pickup a seldom used secondary vehicle) and towed many other resident's cars if they are simply not moved every day. No parking is available much of the time and significant chunks of the parking garages are blocked off for construction. Pets are not cleaned up after and even with posted fines the fines are never enforced. If you want to overpay to have a constant headache, develop weird sleeping problems due to constant noise problems, deal with poor management, and generally hate coming home at night feel free. You'll be one of the few people moving in and have to get past the exodus of people leaving.
Normally don't write reviews, but the reviews I read before moving in vs the way it actually is here at Midtown is very different, so I felt the need to enlighten everyone. I was looking for luxury, and I found it! Midtown is under new management now, and they are VERY pleasant to work with. As for the apartment themselves, they are very reasonably priced and the amenities are taken care of. I would say even the underground parking isn't as bad as people make it out to be. There are 2 floors under EACH building. As long as you are home at a reasonable time, you can almost always find parking. Overall, Midtown has made an incredible come back and I am very excited for them to finish the pool and hot tub!
