I moved in a few months ago and I absolutely love it. Somer made the whole process exciting and enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities are awesome including a rooftop pool and shared fire pit on a patio facing the woods. There are paths for jogging or a lovely walk to town center. The floor plans are very spacious and have beautiful fixtures and large patios! I’m so glad we chose Midtown to be our new home!!

Very convenient access to all town center has to offer. Very clean. Gorgeous units. Gym, lounge, pool on rooftop with a hot tub. Highly recommend this place and happy to call it my home for almost a year now.
I've never lived at a place that has such friendly staff until I moved into Midtown. All the staff always has a smile on their faces and greets you with a warm welcome if they see you around the property. They are accommodating when it comes to maintenance having to visit your apartment, see I work nights at a hospital so I sleep during the day but they always keep the noise down if they have to come do something in my apartment. If I have a problem they solve it within less than 24 hours. After a long night at work this is definitely the place I want to come home to.
I've been living here for a few years now and everyone is wonderful. The staff is super nice, the maintenance is prompt and courteous and the complex is very welcoming. And the location is perfect! Stop by and check it out...you won't regret it. T.Howell

Thank you, Thomas! You are awesome and we really appreciate your amazing review. Have a beautiful day! Sincerely, Alexandra Adkins Property Manager
I moved in 4 days ago and did a walkthrough and told her what was wrong and she said it will be Tuesday before they can fix these things. I have been living in the dark ever since. I was told today to just change the light bulb. If it was just that I would have done that already. Why would I need to change a light bulb after 4 days of living here. I was also told that because it’s not a emergency that it not a priority to get to today. Safe to say they don’t value me as a tenant. Poor management. I won’t be here long.

The complex is in a great location - walking distance to Town Center and our 3 bedroom unit is very open, bright, and spacious. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the Poolside Cabana Events are a ton of fun!

Thank you so much for the great review! We do agree, our floorplans are VERY spacious and promote wonderful energy. It's our pleasure to host our resident events and we hope you feel special as part of our Midtown family. Sincerely, Alexandra Adkins Property Manager
Not sure where my review went, but we'll try this again...maybe not type so fast this time. We were new to the area last year when we settled on Midtown. We just started to drive the neighborhoods, and stopped in. Gracie, we so sweet and helpful, we actually decided that day and picked out our apartment. And although we had to wait for the apartment to become vacant, we knew it would be perfect for us. And they were "PET" friendly which sold us almost immediately. We can't say enough about the staff, everyone here is always friendly and helpful. David and I have lived in rentals all around the United States, and we put them at the top of our list. Although, we at times may hear our neighbors upstairs it's really not a bother. I'm just grateful I'm on the bottom, because I'm sure we would be much noisier than they are. I can't imagine we could have found a better place for us, especially at this time in our lives. Thank you Midtown Staff for always taking care of our needs. Donna & David Cassell
Property Manager at Midtown at Town Center, Responded To This Review
Donna & David, WOW! We absolutely adore your family, including our furry friends. Y'all have been such a wonderful part of our community and we are super grateful for all of your participation in our resident events. We strive to always provide the BEST customer service, including handling any issues that may arise. So please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any further noise complaints, it will be our pleasure to get them resolved. Hope to see you at the Fourth of July party! Sincerely, Alexandra Adkins Property Manager
I really like living here but it's awful not being on the top floor. I constantly hear my neighbors above me, even a simple cell phone ringing. The weekends are the worst because they play loud music. Also, Midtown requires you to have a specific cable company- Telcom- and it is the worst service I have ever had. I am always losing service and I have to call them at least once a week. The staff is really nice and they try to be accommodating (We love you Grace). I would just advise everyone to beware if you are not on the top floor. I know I can call the 24 hour hotline for noise, such as the loud music, but the point I am trying to make is that I hear everything they do on a regular basis- shower, walking, talking. I just got woken up again because it's so loud when they walk around.

Hey Spencer! I would love to chat with you too when you are available! I feel awful that you are having issues with Telcom and want to assist in any way I can to make sure this does not continue. Also, I did leave a message with your mom, but if you are experiencing anything other than normal apartment noises, please call Guardus 757.961.1818 as they are available 24/7. If it is during business hours if you could please call the office, 757.671.2121, and I will come up personally and address it. If I'm not in the office, my team will be happy to take care of it as well!! Thank you for the kind words about our team, we really do enjoy having you guys here and want you to be happy. I look forward to hearing back from you! Sincerely, Alexandra Hinman Property Manager
Terrible living conditions! Way over priced!! This place is disgusting and feels so nasty every time I walk through the halls. They claim to be so luxurious but it's an over priced college dorm!!

Hey there! I am very disheartened to hear that you had a bad experience at our community. We strive to take care of our community and our residents to the best of our ability. Please contact me at 757.671.2121 as soon as you can so I can discuss this further with you. If email is more convenient I can be reached at managermt@ripheat.com. Thank you and I hope for an opportunity to change your opinion of your community. Sincerely, Alexandra Hinman Property Manager
We have lived at Midtown at Towncenter now for 7 months. We still love the spacious roominess of the 3 bedroom, two bath apartment. We love the staff and the maintenance crew. They are so wonderful and treat us extremely well. The parking garage, fitness center, pool, and hot tub are phenomenal. The fire pit and the grills are great as well. The walk through is great for days of inclimiate weather. I don't think you will be disappointed because there are more pros then cons. The only complaint I would have is the company used for TV, Internet, and home phone. If this was changed, this would be the perfect apartments. We don't plan on moving anywhere, we just wish we had more opportunities for TV, Internet, and phone. Harold & Alett Boyd & family

To the Boyd Family, We are so thrilled that you are enjoying your new home and everything that we offer here at Midtown! We love having you and your family. Please let us know if there is anything that we can do for you at any time. Sincerely, Alexandra Hinman Property Manager
We've lived at Midtown two separate times. Both times the staff and maintenance crew have been so nice and so helpful! The apartments are very spacious, well maintained, and conveniently located. The bonuses are covered parking, an elevator, garbage shoot on every floor, clean and well maintained fitness room, walking bridge to Town Center, easy highway access, firepit and gas grills, secure buildings, and large balconies.

Midtown is a great place to live! The property has quiet, cozy, and conveniently located. The units are well maintained and look as if they are brand new! The staff is friendly and attentive, providing superior customer service to the residents!
Very nice apartment plenty of space with friendly residents.
A good place with easy walking access to midtown plaza with great restaurants and 20 minutes driving to the beach and airport.
Midtown is a great apartment with a lot of space. My family loves the beautiful three bedrooms with a balcony and a great view. The kitchen is very open with hardwood floors and a lot of cabinet space. I enjoy the spaciousness of the bedrooms and closets. The washer and dryer are top notch. I would highly recommend this place for its nice apartments, friendly staff, and beautiful landscape with great amenities like the gym and pool.
Keep the doctor away by living here! This is Midtown at Town Center, and it is exactly where you should be looking if you want a slice of the amazing life that is Virginia Beach Town Center. If you're like me, and you'd rather get run over by one of the billions of tourist vehicles that swarm the VB oceanfront every summer than live in the middle of that insanity, then Town Center is your best bet. Even those of us that love VB know you can't call it a real city, but living in/near Town Center at least gives you some degree of "city" living- and it's only 10 min to get to the oceanfront when you feel the need. Midtown is nestled in a cozy little spot just outside of Town Center proper, surrounded by protected wetland and lush forest. Well, maybe not "lush forest", but trees! I like the fact that because of the surroundings, there will never be additional development adjacent to the property. A gorgeous bridge (teeming with dragonflies and waterfowl, but no trolls) makes for an easy walk in to the heart of Town Center. No designated driver necessary. Just don't accidentally wander in to the marsh, it's muddy down there! Or so I've heard.... The apartments themselves are very impressive. Very modern look and feel, and very spacious. The buildings and property are well kept and invoke a more "upscale" feel without being snobbish about it. There is an awesome indoor common area that can be reserved for functions, as well as an outside area with grills, tables, and a fire pit. Add very attentive and friendly leasing office personnel, excellent maintenance and groundskeeping staff, and well, what more do I need to tell you? Sure, you could live right smack in the middle of Town Center- you could also pay more for way less. In my opinion, if you want the best bang/buck potential, Midtown is the ticket. You can thank me later- I'll be the one walking back from Town Center with mud on my shoes.
One of the best things about midtown is it’s people: the staff and the neighbors. There a mostly military folks that stay here which makes it one of the best spots to be. The apartments are located near town center where there is a lot to do such as go to a comedy club, listen to music in the square, and go to the movies all of this is in walking distance. The landscape of the property is beautiful. The apartments are so spacious I share it with my parents, twin brother, and my two sisters. Now that’s a lot of space. I’m so glad we decide to move into a great place with great space and friendly staff.
Midtown is a great place to live. It has spacious bedrooms with high ceiling and illuminating energy efficient lighting. The closets are so spacious my kids have room to place their dressers. The grounds are very well maintained and free of trash. The garage has plenty of room for parking and well lighted for safety. It has onsite security guards and secured door locks. The amenities are a great addition to the property with a wonderful pool, hot tub, athletic facility with state of the art equipment, and a beautiful courtyard with grills. This place has a quiet and friendly neighborhood feel. This is a great place to come home to and unwind on the spacious, large balcony, which is great for reading and relaxing.
I live here with roommates, and it has it's ups and downs. For a while when we first moved in we've had a terrible roach infestation during winter and had to keep asking for pest control. Not sure where the roaches but we were told they came from the residence downstairs. It was the world time ever. I'm hoping this winter will be okay. Other than the bug problem, sometimes there are loud people in the garage blasting music and such. It's a nice place to live, I just wish people were more considerate. I hope to leave soon. I don't think I want to live here with a baby on the way.
I have been living here for a little bit more than a year with a roommate in a 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms apartment. We are both female professionals in our late 20s. Pros: nice area, and clean apartment. Close to town center and close enough to the beach. Right off I264 and very close to I264 and I64 junction. Cons: 1. I had to pass a background and credit check to live here. Yet they have college students as our neighbors that do not have to go thru the same background and credit check. My roommate and I filed many complaints about persistent noises pass midnight. I work on Saturday and the elevator would be trashed with broken beer bottles or smelled of puke from time to time. This is unacceptable. We did not pay this much to go back to living in a dorm. 2. We had issues with our appliances and it took the management at least 5x to finally have it fixed completely. Took me many frustrated phone calls and complaints again. 3. The maintenance man showed up in my apartment without prior notice and started fixing things. I happened to be off work that day. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable considering what else they do when I'm not home. 4. My roommate and I both have great credits. And we both travel a lot. We have always been on time on our rent except once. Most apartments (yes, most, I have lived in many many many apartments in various cities) let you have until the 5th of the month before penalizing you with late fee. Not this place. We forgot once, and on the 2nd of the month they will charge you a $50 late fee. On top of that, now they are demanding us to only pay with Cashier Check or Money Order for future payments. No body has time for that. They did not even take into consideration of a whole year of never late payment for us. I will not be living here once my lease is over. Cons outweighed the pros. For the price you pay, you can def find another place that will treat you better as tenants.
Safe and quiet community less than a mile to the heart of Town Center! Quick and easy access to local bars, restaurants, shopping, and a movie theater. Grounds are well kept and clean and the staff is always available to assist. They even have a concierge in main office to help you with any of your needs! Military friendly and the pricing is hard to beat for all of the great amenities.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating when looking for an apartment. We had asked to see different models at different times and they did not mind showing us around. We looked at several apartments in the area and none of them compared to the apartment at the Midtown apartments. The apartment is very spacious and has lots of closet space. We have a beautiful balcony facing town centre. They have outdoor pool, gym, grill, walking trail, and clubhouse to rent. If you need something fixed they Send somebody right away. We have never had any issue finding a parking spot. I actually like having a garage to put my car in. They have the best kitchens and all the apartments near town center. They have the best location as in being right next to town center but not being in town center with all the noise. We are quite happy here and would consider buying it if it was a condo. :)
My wife and I moved into Midtown at Cityview 10 months ago after having done extensive apartment research in the Virginia Beach town center area. We have been very pleased with not only the location, which is walking distance to town center, but also the apartment community itself. All the staff are very helpful the maintenance is prompt and thorough and the grounds are kept immaculate. The interior climate controlled hallways help keep our apartment temperate year-round with minimal heating and cooling costs. The apartment it's self is spacious and before we moved in The apartment was repainted, new kitchen flooring was installed, and it was deep cleaned from top to bottom. It was like moving into a brand new unit. The apartment community gym has well-maintained equipment and includes five pieces of cardio equipment weight machines and free weights. The rooftop pool deck has been a nice feature this summer and we have enjoyed both the hot tub and the pool. Another big benefit to this apartment community is the five-story parking garage with covered walkways connecting to each building. I would highly recommend Midtown at Cityview to anyone looking for an upscale apartment home in the Virginia Beach town center area.
Midtown at Town Center is close to everything you want or need. Restaurants, clubs, bars, shopping, movies, and nature are all within walking distance. There are many diverse floor plans to meet anyone's preference, all with open kitchens, lots of space and outdoor light, giant closets, and balconies/patios. Also on site are a clubhouse, fitness center, rooftop pool and hot tub area, parking garage, and walking trail. It might be a little more expensive than other high end apartments in the area, but the open floor plans and location make it definitely worth it.
This place is so very nice. Quiet with lots of amenities. People you run into in the common areas are nice and polite. It's right at town center which is exciting. Midtown also offers great events, 4th of July party, end of summer party, wine and/or beer tastings and so much more!
I have lived here since 2013 and it has been the best experience ever. The staff is so nice and always willing to help you no matter what the issue. Maintenance is complete on the same day you submit a problem and in a timely matter. It is conveniently located right in the town center area of Virginia Beach and you can walk to a lot of food places, movies and shopping. Great social events, gym is outstanding and love the rooftop pool.
Love living here! Its a great location and a well maintained safe community.
I stayed in a 3 bedroom 2 bath condo at Midtown and I LOVE my stay. The apartment/condo was spacious and I roomy. The STAFF was always understanding and accommodating as well as the maintenance crew. They were always friendly and helpful. The only reason my family and I moved was because we bought a home, if not for that we would still be there.
Friendly office staff always ready to help. Great location just a short walk from Towne Center. Great looking apartments
