With its old-growth shade trees and 100-year-old refurbished homes, the Midtown neighborhood of Omaha combines a sense of old-world charm with proximity to downtown and the University of Nebraska-Omaha, both of which are directly east of the neighborhood. Within Midtown Omaha, many renters opt for the smaller neighborhood of Midtown Crossing, a 16-acre development that mixes apartments, restaurants, and shops for a true live-work-play environment.
Many residents choose Midtown Omaha for its short commute time to the University of Nebraska Medical Center and other downtown destinations. After taking a stroll under the expansive trees of Midtown, head to Turner Park to enjoy Jazz on the Green concerts or stop at some of Omaha's finest restaurants for a bite. Residents head to the Grey Plume in Midtown Crossing for its innovative menu or the Crescent Moon Ale House to enjoy its friendly pub atmosphere.

Property Ratings at Midtown Crossing Apartments
Predictable great service during unpredictable weather 0n Tuesday December 17 off just before those miserable cold windy days, my heater stopped working, the main controls completely blank. I was so happy the Midtown maintenance team was there the next day to fix it. It took a day to trouble shoot the different fuses and locations. (first outage like that in 5 years) but I was warm and toasty for the upcoming day's cold winds. Thank you!
Maintenance Request I was having an issue with my air conditioning unit. I called and Chad (the maintenance supervisor) was here within an hour to fix the problem. Thanks so much!

While the apartments themselves are not the most up-to-date (although one of the buildings is being renovated currently) for those working/studying in the area you can't beat the location or the environment. The apartments are a great value for the price with floor to ceiling windows, and amenities (grocery store, full gym, restaurants, entertainment) within walking distance make Midtown Crossing a fun place to live. Go just a few blocks west and you're in the heart of the Blackstone district, or a few blocks east and you're downtown. Living at midtown was one of the best decisions I made since moving to Omaha, and looking forward to many years to come!
Midtown Crossing is in an awesome location. Many places to eat and listen to live music in the park. The apartment building itself is not baby stroller friendly. And too many huge dogs are allowed. The price of the apartment is a little too high for the quality of the apartment. However, a gym membership and parking are included plus the location.
