North Raleigh is a sprawling sector of the city known for its large plots of land, rolling hills, and picturesque oak trees for which the city gets its nickname, “The City of Oaks.” Located about eight miles north of Downtown Raleigh, this neighborhood offers access to everything this historic city has to offer while being slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of big-city living. The location of North Raleigh and its proximity to desirable schools makes this neighborhood a popular option for families. The number of amenities and attractions located nearby adds to the allure of this part of the city and makes it one of the most convenient neighborhoods in Raleigh.

Property Ratings at Midtown Crossing
This apartment was great within the first three months of moving in. After that, things started to go very downhill. Someone moved in above my apartment, and now I can get no sleep at night due to the stomping and various loud noises coming from above. Management has been contacted multiple times about this issue, with no resolution. The dumpster area gets absolutely disgusting over the weekends, trash piled down the sidewalk. The Property Management team doesn’t work over the weekends I assume. Their maintenance team recently came in my apartment looking for a leak affecting the downstairs unit, they cut two large holes in my drywall to look for the leak. After their day of work, they just left and did not repair the holes , rather just put the refrigerator and washing machine in front of them. When management was called about the holes in the wall, they did not know about them, therefore the holes were just going to be left until something was said. Living in this apartment has made my life miserable. I would rather share this so someone else does not get trapped here as I did.
I've lived here for over a year. I would've highly recommended this location with the previous property management we had; they were fantastic. However, the new property management, GVA Management is terrible. They lack customer service, have poor communication, and provide low grade people skills. They're not providing quality service and asking for high prices from possible/current tenants while putting their money into cheaper services that take care of the property. I've seen the available apartments they're offering to new applicants and they genuinely look like trash. The office staff aren't welcoming, appear inexperienced, and don't do any activities on the property for tenants. I'd stay clear unless you had to live hear.
My time at Midtown was great and I would highly recommend living here if you're looking for a place in North Raleigh that is convenient to everything. Everyone in the office was always very kind and helpful, willing to answer any questions I had. The apartments, and even the area around the apartment is well taken care of. You can tell they care about the quality of your stay. Whenever I contacted maintenance to fix things (it wasn't often) they were prompt and took care of the problem quickly. The best thing was the building I stayed in was very quiet. I would definitely recommend living here if you're looking for a nice, affordable place in North Raleigh.

Hi there, thanks for the 5-star rating! It's great to hear you loved living at Midtown Crossing and that our team made such a positive impression on your experience. We will be sure to keep up the good work and wish you all the best going forward.
Josh and Tori in the leasing office were so nice and helpful from day 1. When I moved in, the apartment was so clean and well taken care of. There were no bugs!!! (I’ve had a lot of issues with bugs in previous apartments complexes) All of the neighbors were so nice and helpful! Overall I was pleased with my experience living here. I will definitely recommend Midtown Crossing to friends looking for a new apartment.
The management and maintenance of Midtown Crossing are incredible. They genuinely care about the residents and they make that clear. Every time I've walked into the front office, I sense that they desire to serve me and my roommates in whatever way they can. They put on community events to thank us for living there. Also every time I've put in a maintenance request, they've responded promptly and addressed all of our needs. The apartments are clean, well designed, and they are in the process of renovating of most of the units. The cost is extremely affordable and the location is great in Raleigh. I can't imagine a better apartment living choice in the Raleigh area!

I love living here! The apartments are beautiful and the closet space is amazing!!! I love the staff. They are super friendly and helpful. Maintenance staff is professional and efficient. The amenities are beautiful. I love the sense of community. Going on my third year here! Started in a one bedroom and now living in a two bedroom. They made the transition super easy. Midtown Crossings is home at last.
I just moved to the Raleigh area from upstate NY. I am still paying a mortgage on my house in NY so rent was a major factor for me. I also have small dog so I knew that would limit my options. I spent several weeks looking at complexes in different parts of the city. The ones I liked were more than I could afford. The ones I could afford were in less than great neighborhoods, REALLY outdated, or unavailable. When I found Midtown Crossing online, viewed the pictures and saw the rent, I wasn't hopeful. The apartments looked nice and the rent was within my budget. I called to make an appointment with the leasing agent but had to leave a message. When I got the call back, I was certain I was going to be told there weren't any apartments available. Instead I was told there were a couple of units available so I set up a time to take a look at them. When I got here, I was impressed with the overall cleanliness of the complex and grounds. The apartment I looked at was nicely updated. Every apartment had a patio or balcony, the appliances were all relatively new and some apartments even had a washer and dryer. After looking for so long without success, I jumped at the chance to apply. The application process was a breeze, the communication from the leasing office was great, the rent was exactly what I was told it would be. I moved in 3 weeks later, as soon as it was available. That was about 6 weeks ago. Overall, it was a great decision. The neighbors are quiet but friendly. The staff is super nice and helpful, and they know who I am whenever I go in to the office or see them in the complex.
