Property Ratings at Midtown Houston Living
Process was easy and the staff was very helpful !! We were able to move in quickly and efficiently! The studio is exactly what my wife and I needed!
We’ve been here for 5 years! We’ve seen changes in management and overturn. We’ve gone through CoVid, hurricanes, floods, freezes, and outages. Management has always kept us informed of what they are doing to manage issues. Maintenance crew has been top notch throughout the years. Any issues are fixed very promptly. Within our apartment there haven’t been many issues. The building itself has had issues with the garage gates, elevator, and stairwell door fobs malfunctioning. Tenants abuse the pool visitor guidelines and hours. Parking is open. Some tenants take way too many spots. There is only one functioning E charger. Additionally, Amazon has no after hours access to the Luxor room and packages are not able to be delivered. I would like to see some changes to bring back recycling. Bike racks would be great as well. There have been recent water issues which require the water to be cut off. Hoping the neighborhood gets safer and the old Whole Foods space opens another store.
Very helpful, went far and beyond to show me both properties. The rates are great and the people are very friendly. I would recommend anyone to visit Pear at the mix.
Property is safe and well kept, staff is friendly, amenities are nice and units are all spacious and well designed no matter the floor plan.
1. This has been the most stressful apartment application process I’ve ever been through. There is too much back and forth between the applicant and leasing agent and very slow response time. I feel like throughout this process they forgot about us. They forgot to send us the lease and application approval e-mail and I had to call them asking what happens next because I did not know the move in procedures. 2. The vent for the stove was left inside the dishwasher and we didn’t have a valet trash can. The baseboard and cabinet wall that the dishwasher is in moves. The lower built-in shelf in the closet has gaps in the caulking and looks like its hanging on its last thread and any weight placed on it will cause it to slant. The carpet in the second bedroom has a suspicious looking vomit stain. Our dryer does not work and takes 4-6 60 min rounds on high heat to dry clothes. Some outlets are loose. For the price we pay for rent, there should be better upkeep of this facility.
New to Pearl at the Mix, so far everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. Unit was in great condition upon arrival. Amenities are well taken care of and staff are wonderful. Haven't seen any bugs and the building is very secure
Devante was great and informative very nice property also appears secure pool was very clean. Workout gyms and yoga room was very nice concierge was very helpful.
I love living in this apartment community! The amenities are top-notch, including a well-equipped gym and a beautiful pool area. The management team is always responsive and friendly, addressing any concerns promptly. My neighbors are great, and there's a real sense of community here. The location is convenient, with easy access to shopping and dining options. The maintenance staff does an excellent job keeping the grounds clean and well-maintained. Overall, it's a fantastic place to call home, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and vibrant community!
Just moved here. So far, everything has been great. It’s a great property and the leasing team was super helpful during the application process to the final approval.
