It is home to the Children's Minnesota Minneapolis Hospital, the Midtown Global Market, and Saint Mary's University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Campus. DO NOT rent here.
Reconsider your options when looking for an apartment to rent. Midtown Plaza Apartments is worse beyond one's imagination. The area is not clean. It is loud. More importantly, there is NO WAY you will get your security deposit back and you will get charged regardless if you clean the apartment when moving out.
