Sandwiched between Fort Worth and Dallas, Arlington is part of the massive DFW Metroplex. This big (even by Texas standards), busy, thriving city is home to some powerhouse locations, including the University of Texas at Arlington, AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), Six Flags Over Texas, and Hurricane Harbor. These, along with Texas Health Resources, General Motors Arlington Assembly, and GM Financial, are some of the city's largest employers.
With so much happening in and around this active, dynamic metropolis, you'll never sit around your Arlington apartment wondering what to do. Head to the Arlington Museum of Art or the International Bowling Museum, visit the Village Creek Historical Area or SW Nature Preserve, go hiking at River Legacy Parks, see the animals at the Fort Worth Zoo, and go shopping at Grand Prairie Premium Outlets or the Parks at Arlington.

Property Ratings at Midtown Urban
If I could give 0 stars I would. When I moved in, they didn't have my apartment ready and there was someone inside still living in my supposed apartment, so I had to go down to the office and complain. Then they switched my apartment that I had to move into, but it wasn't ready, and I had to wait 4 hours. Once I finally got in my apartment there was no light in my closet, and my blinds were broken. I've been here for almost 1 semester now and put in multiple workorders, yet my blinds are still broken. There was also no hot water at all in the apartment, me and my roommates were all taking cold showers for a month and a half, until they finally fixed it after we complained 5 times. The water only got fixed because my roommate went to the office to complain again and when Daphne was just basically ignoring what she had to say the guy who works here overheard her and he went to fix it right away. So basically, Daphne doesn't care to report problems or something. Also, there was a time where I paid my check on time the 1st of the month (when I asked for a receipt they refused and said their printer wasn't working) then towards the end of the month I get an eviction notice from midtown urban saying I haven't paid my rent and I went immediately to tell them I did in fact pay my rent but Daphne said she "couldn't find my check" I made her check all the checks they had received and look no further my check was in fact there. I also had late fees because of their mistake, and they said they would take it off, but they never got taken off and I refuse to pay late fees for something that wasn't late. I also complained about bugs in our apartment, and they said someone would come in 1 week but 1 month passed and nobody came, and we still have bugs. The smoke detector in the kitchen goes off for no reason as well as when we turn on the heater it makes the whole apartment smell like a fire was happening inside. Overall management is just awful, unhelpful and I don't recommend it to anyone not even my worst enemy.
Our elevator has been broken for months, my blinds never got fixed despite multiple requests, and everyone was recently given a 5-day notice to evacuate our apartments for renovations. I was not in town so I had to find someone to move all my things out, my roommates and I constantly called asking if we had a temporary place to stay or if we'd be given a new apartment, just to be told there were no updates. Now we're being told that they ran out of materials so our apartment won't be able to be renovated until next year, meaning they kicked us out for nothing and still had us pay rent, which they also want to raise. This new management is a joke, stay away for your own sanity.

As we deeply appreciate the comment I believe you have our Brand New Community confused with another community. I am so sorry that this has happened to you where ever you might be but we have availability and would love to have you here. Please feel free to call us for more information and if you are interested we would love to take you on a tour. We hope to hear from you soon!
I'm sorry but the room I just moved in smelt horrible as if a dog stayed there and oh my god I had to argue with the front office to clean the carpet and even after I had to clean the carpet. I don't know why but the dog smell would leave and then come back I know for a fact that I didn't have a dog. The room hasn't even moved in. I really stay on top of the smell on where I stay and sleep at and it was bad for me. Like I couldn't lay in my bed knowing that the carpet smelt like a dog stayed there then when I went to sleep on the couch and it still smelt like a dog. I really was trying to work everything out but I might be moving out if the smell doesn't leave. Also the sink and tub was clogged. I wasn't even suppose to be moving into the apartment. I was rushed and forced so I didn't have not choice as a student trying to achieve his last goal before leaving Arlington.
MANAGEMENT is TERRIBLE. Daphne, the "manager" is very rude. She does not care about her tenants at all. Gary and the other young lady are as helpful as they can be. Rooms are not safe, I have been bitten and they do not care. They only do pest control every 2 weeks regardless of your condition or the condition of your room. The Premier Property Management that owns the apartment complex does not care either because I have called and emailed them and get no response. I would definitely recommend Campus Edge over this apartment complex. Living here is one of the biggest regrets of my college life.
The manager Daphni is extremely rude!! I've put in several workorders, gone and spoke in person with her and nothing ever gets fixed! Our stove doesn't work, our dryer is broken and damages all of our clothes, bugs come inside from underneath the door due to a whole, the AC does not blow cold air, the refrigerator needs maintenance. Every appliance is cheap! We pay too much for them not to fix the issues. The tredmills at the "gym" are broken, they have holes on the band to where you can't even run without hurting your ankles. Management is just horrible! I would love for them to live in these apartments for just a day so they can see how much frustration it is.
This is definitely the WORST living experience of my young adulthood, primarily because management. This was my first apartment and from the day I came to get my key management has been horrendous. On the day I was supposed to move in I came to get my key and was then told by one worker the apartment was not ready. I was going to be fine with waiting, but then the manager Daphene came out and said the apartment was ready after getting my key and going to the room I found my bathroom had red stains on the wall, the bath tub was dirty, bugs were on the wall as well as spiders and spider webs in a lot of corners, and maintenance men were still in my apartment on latters working. With a quick look at the apartment I found flies in my refrigerator as well as strange green stains on the inside washer for the apartment. Not even looking at everything else that was wrong I went to the office to express my frustration. I was then told in a very short and in my opinion very rude manner by Daphene that my apartment was done, even though she admitted she had not seen it. She then mentioned I paid only for the room and that I should put any complaints on my checklist form. Up to date now the manager finally admitted the apartment was not done and apologized but still nothing has been done and to add to the list of problems: the garbage disposal does not work and water is literally just floating in the sink, there is a whole in the bottom door clay so bugs can crawl in from under the door whenever they want, the light in the living room is not fully installed, only one out of the 3 lights in the dining room work, my closet shelf is damaged, bugs are still found even though our apartment is on the exterminator list and my roommate continually wakes up with bites. Basically to say the least I wish I had not chosen to reside in an apartment with a manager so unconcerned with their resident’s living experience. I was told by Daphene I was not allowed direct contact to the owner so all I am able to do now is leave this review and hope someone finally listens and tries to better this upsetting situation.
I've had many apartments in my life and I HAVE NEVER been treated like this before. They are so unprofessional. I called to get information on paperwork and during the entire conversation the manager DAPHNE G. was so disrespectful. Not once did I raise my voice. I just wanted clarification and some understanding. I don't understand why she is so defensive when speaking. I will scream this to this until I'm blue in the face. DON'T GO!
This apartment is great! The mangement is very kinda, friendly, considerate and VERY helpful. The rooms are great size for the amount of rent you pay. It's an on campus apartment which makes i it a great place to stay if you are attending college at The Unversity of Texas at Arlington. There are multiple floor plans at midtown, I am staying in a 4x4 floor plan which means I myself stay in an apartment with 3 other people, everyone has their own bathrooms the only thing we share is the common areas( living room/ kitchen) The apartment has a gate all the way around it the building. There's a pool, a business room, a game room and a weight room all just within the apartment. Everyone that I know whom lives at Midtown says they love living here!! And Soo do I!'
When I moved in, these apartments had just been built so my roommates and I were the first to use our rooms which was so nice. The rent isn't very cheap though, all 4 of our rent combined is more expensive than a split up regular apartment. Everything is nice and modern. The rooms are good size but I wish I had a bigger closet. The bathroom is also spacious. The walls are very thin also.
Nice apartments right by campus but is considered and off campus apartment. Newer, spacious and gated.
