Positioned along the Tennessee River just minutes north of the Georgia state line, Chattanooga is a city of rich history, gorgeous scenery, and heaps of southern hospitality. Downtown and the neighboring Southside district form the urban core of the community, with many of the city’s best venues for dining, nightlife, and entertainment found within a couple of blocks of Market Street in this area.
The local museum scene is expansive, and ranges from traditional institutions like the Hunter Museum of American Art to more unique and peculiar attractions like the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum. The Tennessee Aquarium is a local favorite as well, featuring huge exhibits of freshwater and marine animals.
The city is surrounded by thousands of acres of Tennessee’s unspoiled natural beauty, offering endless opportunities for hiking, rock climbing, camping, and mountain biking, or just exploring and sightseeing in general.

Property Ratings at Midvale Heights
As a long term tenant, we saw numerous management teams come through the apartment complex (4 different property managers in the last 5 years) and have not been happy with any of them. Throughout my time, I had to perform my own maintenance (leaking pipes, toilet issues, mold). There has been vandalism to cars on site. I do not recommend this complex. I have spoken to a lot of tenants and they have had similar experiences of poor/non-existent maintenance.
This is a beautiful property, built in the 1970s. I have been here 6 years in a 1 bedroom. Very nice, large, and rent is cheaper than most other complexes north of the river. They pay my gas heat in the winter, which helps my utility bill. Sue is a nice manager and we have a great maintenance man. Any apt. issue I've had has always been taken care of by maintenance. I'm grateful to be in a unit that is ground level and no steps.
I have no complaints. I move here back in March and have had no problems. The landlord She is very nice. The apartment is nice for the cost of living. Neighbors are all nice and the property is very well kept and no problem with maintenance. If I have an issue, which I really haven't they're on it. I know I'll be here for a while, because i absolutely love it.
LibertyHeights has become a HOME, & not just "Where We Live". Thanks in part to an AWESOME Property Mng.Team that came on fall '17. I love the staffs attentiveness to ALL the details, willingness to serve- Yet the ability to live among Us. As our neighbors. Our friends. Hands dwn, best place to live in N.Shore!!! Larry, Sue & Crew...Our MANY thx! Keep up the good work!
Under new management yet again but still a scam. The owner don't care about the residents here and does nothing to fix things the way they should be. A waste of money.
HORRIBLE ! Pest infested , no deposit back , takes forever to get a repair fixed, tricks you out of your money. Nastiest on site laundry mat I've ever seen in my life that hardly even works. Makes everything sound and look good when viewing the apartment but once you move in within a month COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Can't wait until my lease is up. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND !
Very rude manager Sylvia! After walk through with the Manager, We were told that the place looked great and that we would receive our Security deposit back within 30 days, That was in June and now it's almost 4 months and still NO DEPOSIT! Called several times and Manager brushed us off, saying it should be coming. When we told her we would be taking her to court she told us that she had to use some of the deposit for repairs... She never mentioned anything about any repairs in the past 3 months!!! I think they are a scam, that makes excuses to not return your deposit. Also the bathroom ceiling began to cave in several months after we moved in, it took several calls, to get anyone to come look, and when they did come, it was a patch job that they didn't ever come back to complete.. STAY AWAY FROM HIS PLACE!
Property Manager at Midvale Heights, Responded To This Review
This complex is under new management. I have lived here almost a year and the difference is night and day. Monica is so much more pleasant and addresses my concerns with politeness and consideration in a timely manner. I would recommend Liberty Heights to any of my friends as a great place to live.
Property Manager at Midvale Heights, Responded To This Review
The property is now under new management and I have had a great experience since moving here. Every one is friendly and I have had no problems with maintenance issues. The apartments are bright and very large with a great balcony. We really enjoyed the pool this summer and made some great new friends.
