Property Ratings at Midway Urban Village
Recent unsettling interactions, package theft, and staff ethics concerns raise serious questions about professionalism and trust. Considering legal action to hold management accountable for property and service standards.

Property Management are really not competent at all ....really rude, not helpful. Property is not secure back door of the building always open because is broken and anyone can come inside at anytime. The apt was not clear and smells no good, I have to wash the carpet several times.
Property Manager at Midway Urban Village, Responded To This Review

Avoid moving here. I'm uncertain if manager is overwhelmed but they seem to disregard everything. I encountered issues during move-in and had to deal with an ant problem that took an extended time to resolve. It got so severe that I had to throw out a significant amount of food, including muffins and other items, as ants were everywhere when I woke up. On the positive side, there's a nice walking trail and the apartment is spacious. Two bathrooms for a one bedroom is a plus. However, parking is a nightmare if you plan to have more than one friend over, as they can't park behind the garage. The valet trash service is hit-or-miss. The gym is small and the equipment isn't in great working condition. I found the move-out charges to be exorbitant, especially considering that I had already paid their vendor $300 for cleaning when I moved out. My advice: steer clear of this place unless there is new management.
Horrible place to live unfortunately. Essentially, just know you are considered a dollar sign here and not a person. -Unit not properly checked before we moved in. Tons of maintenance requests had to be put in -Unit has a smell that will not be resolved -Lied to about parking situation on tour, consider that the only place you or guests can park (besides your garage) is anything to the east of the leasing office. Obviously the garages aren’t big enough if you have roommates, & the entire parking area fills up quick, so if you ever have guests or multiple roommates, this isn’t the place for you -Extremely non-communicative and rude staff. I expect a very corporate, generic response to this review that solves nothing
Terrible unprofessional management. Unkept amenities, cheap renovations. Oh, and they don’t care about the safety of your pet.
Apartment was in terrible condition on move in day. Missing lightbulbs, dusty, other peoples hair everywhere, mold growing in toilet tanks, pee stains on carpet, spider webs in the corners, little yard area was all mud that covered the steps and walk way. Almost no grass
The New Construction and Utilities are way Better than my Old Residence.
Friendly tenants throughout complex. Animal friendly. I don't have a pet but enjoy greeting the ones that are here. Always under control.
-ground not kept up well (trees dying and branches falling off on their own because of this. SAFETY issue) -forced to participate to fetch and valet trash system. Fetch system does not make sense for town home side. amazon directly delivers to doorstep. also i think this is a system that was created as the apartments did not build enough space in mail room. a fee being imposed on residents because of the build of the complex. -charge "haul" fee for trash. wasnt on contract and apartment claimed it was stated in "policy" when application was processed -gym way too small and NOT 24 hour access, as if everyone works "office" hours. they forget about the folks who work overnight and sleep during the day. -lack of printer and computers in shared office space. this area too closes early. -kiddy pool. do not feel that i can get a real swim in that small pool. do not like that staff and visitors can directly look at my sun bathing in pool area (makes me feel uncomfortable). -maintenance workers do not leave notices in apartments to alert residents that they have entered apartment.
Well can’t say we didn’t give this place a try. I would not recommend this place to anyone after the experience we’ve had here. The last straw was the property taking the only area outside to park away from an already parking constrained area. Now we have to park really far away from our home and that is if we are lucky to find parking period. Yes we have a garage but we use it for storage. When we signed our lease, there was parking available outside. This place also has a bug problem that they can’t seem to fix. We have had pest control out countless times and we still after over a year here fight these little black bugs, spiders, and ants throughout the place. The experience while trying to renew our lease here felt like we had to pull teeth just to get a lease sent to us. It should not be this difficult to renew a lease. That should of been the red flag that sent us elsewhere. Please do not rent here unless you like bugs, an impossible rent renewal process, or parking that can be taken away with about 12 hrs notice. Last, this place is beyond overpriced considering all the issues here.
Quiet community Easy access to grocery and freeway.
The leasing start prior were phenomenal, over and beyond amazing. I haven't really experienced that yet. Nothing negative, just haven't experienced that yet.
I moved here from 30 years of AZ living in January 2020. MUV exceeded my expectations and got me in quickly after a management software changed created challenges, losing applications. The ladies in the office were always helpful and got things done.
I would recommend it to a friend because it' a nice place to live overall, every one here is very courteous and the complex is clean and really put together over all.
