There is a serious mice problem ! I’ve complained several times and they’ve come and laid one trap down . I heard a mouse squeaking in the area where the water heater is and they sent maintenance up to get it but he couldn’t get it so he said he’d be back . The mouse has been in my couch pooping and everything else ! Can’t wait until my lease is up !
I'm currently a resident here at Milan Apartments, and I have been staying at these apartments for about 1 year 5 months now. After this amount of time living in the apartments I would highly recommend not moving into the apartments. First off they are advertised as luxury apartments, and you will certainly pay luxury prices. However the apartments are far from luxury the appliances if you get the base version are old and run down. The apartments do tend to have roach issues as well. Even though you'll be paying gated community prices the gates usually don't work, and anyone can just drive right in. The bathroom tile always peels, and all they do is repaint over dirty tile to cover it up until it peels again. I will also add that the water bill for these apartments are unusually high, as like most apartments you pay for everyone's water including your own. However with past apartments water was only about $30-$50 a month. However these apartments your water bill will easily be anywhere between $60-$80. The apartment staff has a high turn over rate, and genuinely don't seem to care. We had are mailboxes broken into about 3 weeks ago, and to this date the apartment complex has not made any police report. They also refuse to send out an email blast to the apartments that their mailboxes were broken into, and personal information may have been stolen. The only reason I found out was because my neighbor. The apartments just left a note on the mail boxes stating we had to pick up our mail at the post office. It's not until you confront them as to why that really is. I greatly recommend staying away from these apartments as they are way over priced for how old they are, and how horribly they are managed. Make sure to check when these apartments were built because they are old, and not new.
Youth with bass speakers in their cars jam in the parking lot at all hours. Management does not seem to do anything about complaints!
As a neighbor to Milan apartments, I am surprised by the amount of noise at all hours of the day. Young guys at their cars booming their "music" for everyone to hear! Apparently, there is no noise limits at this place!
After two months, we we’re ready to move out. The appliances keep failing, a/c doesn’t work in the bedrooms. THERE ARE ROACHES. And management and the maintenance team shows no empathy. They have an excuse for every problem and no solutions. The “upgrades” to the units are not worth living here. Valet trash is a joke, parking is awful for residents and basically impossible for guests. (They’ll get towed) Awful experience.
Lots of break ins in the parking lot and parking is an issue,this is my 3 time breaking windows car in this MILAN apartment 1720 wells branch last one was yesterday Friday 17 March 2017, so its not safe place to live or to have family , there is no security dark at night scary, very dirty place plus poor poor management they dont know how to communicate and they dont care about us.please community dont try to come and live at this MILAN apartment i can not wait to leave i still have another five month in my contract thank you everyone be careful .

My fiance and I have lived here for 7 months and at first we were happy with our choice but we are now regretting it. The price, location and space of the apartment my be convenient but it is not worth it. The gym does NOT have NEW State of the Art Fitness Center with cable tv and MP3 access or free weights. Heads up there area is "gated" but parts of the property are NOT gated there are many gaps to were people are always coming and going. So there is no controlled access the front gate is a joke for keeping people out. My windows to the apartment leak every time it rains and leaves brown stains all over the window seal a request was put in for them to be looked at and when they were looked at a note was left that said windows have been looked at... NOTHING has been done about the leaks. When going home you want to feel safe and every time I get home I feel unsafe. We have decided to NOT renew our lease and have started looking else where for living. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to live here.
In the six months that my husband and I have lived here it has been an awful experience. Our apartment has flooded three times during heavy rain. We were told it is a drainage problem but nothing has been done. The gate rarely works and our clickers have never worked. We have NEVER had access to the gym. We have talked to them SEVERAL times. We have never been given a new access card. The pool has been closed since September, including the hot tub. Now there is a sign from the city saying they have lost their permit to operate the pool. There has NEVER been a net on the volleyball court. The basketball court is a joke. Always full of kids and no lights for night use. Our toilet has been detached from the floor since we moved in. Despite several maintenance requests, they have NEVER fixed it or even come to look at it. The stove is awful! the burners come detached from the connections while cooking. Now we are living through the new managements "million dollar renovations." Nothing has been renovated or updated in our until. There are a few positives. The apartments backup to the Wells Branch trail and there is a lot of green space for out dog. They recently added a lot of pet stations. There were none before. The rent is cheap, the locations is great, and our one bedroom is fairly large. We haven't had any issues with new management. The women are nice but they don't seem care about our complaints. All they say is, "we are working on it." Overall, we love the access to the trail and green space and rent is super cheap (although I am sure the renovated apartments are $1000 or more). When we had access to the pool and hot tub it was really nice! Long story short, we likely will not renew our lease in July.
LOOOOVE NEW MANAGEMENT LOTS OF IMPROVEMENT FROM THE PREVIOUS THEY ARE ALWAYS SO HELPFUL AND ALWAYS GREET US WITH A SMILE WHEN WE COME IN. I WAS GOING TO MOVE WHEN MY LEASE ENDED BUT I HAVE DECIDED TO STAY BECAUSE OF THEM.
Poor management even though it changes almost every other year...maintenance is slow and take at least 2 weeks to come out...vistors parking is horrible there are no more than 10 visitors parking spots and the residents take them up because the are too cheap to buy a parking pass and management does nothing about it. People say the price is cheaper here, but I stayed in the same complex in Houston and it was $250 cheaper and WAAAYYY bigger and better than this. Trash pick up is useless and they leave trash all over the ground by the dumpster and you can't opt out the trash pickup fee which lost of people complain about. Lots of break-ins going on and I'm starting to notice more cops being called out because of it. It's always a struggle getting in and out of the complex due to traffic.
Although the price and location are pretty nice, management is not great. Maintenance is slow to respond to major issues and management have trouble getting things done. Lots of break ins in the parking lot and parking is an issue (hard to find a spot of you get home past 9pm). Overall I say keep looking
My home is comfortable,functional,liveable,beautiful layout.With the open concept very inviting to guest. easy to get from I35 to major shopping centers.Very well staffed professionals who are always ready to assist with all request.Three pools ,exercise rooms with open kitchen and day room I love living here and you will to. When I came to Austin and was looking for a place to live, I pulled up a map and saw this cute little pond north of Austin. I wanted a home that was close enough to the highway yet near Mills Pond. The Wells Branch trail is just behind the complex along with a dog park. There is a frisbee golf course across Wells Branch Parkway. This place was everything I was looking for in a home.
