Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Milbrook Park Apartments
We called the exterminator 3 times, no mouse trap helped. Breaking the lease took 2 months! Absolutely disgusting!
I moved in July of 2023 and had to move out by September due to mice infestation, mold, holes in wall, building not up to code, etc. they have the worst maintenance. This place is terrible. People in the laundry rooms were taking home mice because they were inside laundry machines and dryers. I could go on and and on. They knew this place was terrible and rented it to me anyway. My renter was Irena & once there were issues brought to her attention she stopped responding. I had to literally threatened to get authorities involved. Do not move here!!! Save your money and yourself & go elsewhere. DO NOT!!!!! I would wake up, pour things like rice and cereal & there would be mice inside. Mice droppings all over the home. Smells. Dead mice in cabinets. MOLD. Just no. I'd come back home to my apartment with mold on my stuff. This was regular.
Leasing personal are legit so helpful. Irina & Luis took good care of me and were extremely helpful. Plus it’s great that they speak multiple languages.
Zoe and Irina are amazing staff. They took cared of us from touring to move in and always there to help. Millbrook is more than home to us.
me and my daughter been living here for a while now it’s very clean laundry rooms are very nice and we have no problems
I've been living here for 6 years now and my only complaints are the storage space ( someone has been sleeping in the one that was assigned to me ) other than that. It's peaceful, no problems with the ppl in my building. We don't have a roach problem because we're clean. We do get the occasional field mouse but that's expected due to the wooded areas.
This place is a mess. Bedbugs, Mice, Roaches!!!!!! Homeless, Drug Users and Dealers sleep and be in the laundry and storage room. No Security company to cheap to provide one. Maintenance don’t care and neither do the office. Worst place ever to live.
When I first moved here it was really nice and I felt safe. Now these apartments are just like living in the projects in the hood. It's drug users living in our basement and sleeping in the storage bins. I went one morning to wash my clothes the man had unplugged the machines and was laying across the machines with his socks and shoes off smoking. It has mice and roach issues. Pest control don't do nothing but spray in the kitchen. A couple of residents car windows got broken including mine and that's because it's no security anymore. For the amount of rent we are paying to live here we shouldn't be having random people living in the storage bins and we should have security on patrol. It's going to get worse if the owners don't fix it. These apartments are running down to the ground.
These people knew the apartment they gave us was mice infested they still decided to move me in there. I got all my pictures for evidence my next step is court and then a lawsuit. My apartment is 6996 Millbrook Park Dr Apt 1B avoid that unit if you do decide to move there but I would not recommend
No hot water at least 3 times a week in the winter. Two buildings share 1 old hot water heater. Management refuse to replace to new one. It’s okay if you hate hot water
Do not move here unless you are fine with having hot water every 3 days! Imagine coming home from a long day of work on a cold winter day to ice cold water coming out the shower! Very upsetting!
Mice and roaches are a huge problem. Multiple leaks and possible mold in apartment . Gas leaks , floods causing moist and non replaced carpets . Storage rooms not cleaned or properly secured so homeless people live in them or the laundry hallways from time to time . Laundry doors barely locked , Also barely any screens on windows . Management office knows about all issues , property is constantly managed by a new company so the issues never get resolved .
MICE... MICE... AND MORE MICE! Ok. So I have been in this apartment for 2 months. WE HAVE CAUGHT 11 MICE (counting today). We've notified the complex repeatedly. The exterminator has come out twice. Woke up this morning and guess what I found in the kitchen... Another mouse! I'm disgusted and stuck considering my options. I REFUSE to live with mice! Edit: We caught some on the counter too after we noticed droppings. I wish I could add these pictures and videos to this review.
I have been smelling for the last two weeks. I complained to the rental office about the smoke and that I suspected someone was living in the storage area next to my apartment. Only to wake this morning to a stronger smoke smell, I opened the storage room door and found a small fire and a shadowy figure. I called 911 only for them to bring out a homeless guy who had lit not one but 3 fires in that area. I told the security on patrol and he never came around to my complex. The property manager was well aware of the situation, in fact she knew who I was talking about before I could describe the guy to her. The director of the property (Blue Ocean Realty) NEVER called me back. To say the least I am glad it wasn’t worse but I am out of there, effective immediately!!! Worse apartments EVER
Property Manager at Milbrook Park Apartments, Responded To This Review
We're sorry to hear that you had to deal with this. We value excellent customer service and we apologize that we fell short here. We'd love the opportunity to discuss this with you directly, so please give us a call when you get a moment. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
I'm a part time student at Towson it's an easy commute for me. I searched around a lot and found that Milbrook has the largest apartments in the area. Ton's of closet space. I'm a happy renter so far.
I like the apartment but its not spacious for the amount they are asking for. Overall the area is nice and quiet and people are friendly, but there is no 24 hour mantience when you need it.
It's near public transportation which grants you choices. The community is fair and the staff is pleasant.
