Nestled along the Souhegan River, Milford is a small town of about 15,000 residents and is part of a larger, six-town network in the Souhegan Valley. This historic town offers a family-friendly environment and a close-knit community. Milford is very forested, offering beautiful hiking trails, waterfalls, and more at destinations like Tucker Brook Town Forest and Granite Town Rail Trail. Neighborhood parks, local restaurants, and spacious residential streets are just a few of the benefits of living in Milford. From Union Coffee Company to the Riverhouse Café, there’s an array of dining options to choose from in the heart of Milford. The city offers affordable apartments and townhomes for rent, and locals can easily commute into Manchester for work or leisure, located less than 20 miles northeast of town.

Property Ratings at Milford Trails Apartments and Storage
Run away as fast as you can. These apartments are a dump For what you pay in rent and fees, you could own your own home. The rent is always going up. And the maintenance gets worse every year. It's like a cult you think it's a nice place when you move in,but as time goes by you wonder where the "nice" went. It's loud. The walls are paper thin. The washers never work and the price per load keeps increasing. The office staff could care less about tenets as long as rent is payed. Lots of drugs around the complex. On the plus side you can have pets (@$50 /pet/mo.) And a pool. (Which you share with 3 other complexs) lots of hiking trails (watch out for the needles) and a dog park.( Watch out for steamy piles no one picks up) in my honest opinion don't bother with this place,it's not worth it
My family and I moved to Milford Trails Apartments because we were sick of the paper-thin walls and general sad state of the previous place we lived in. We had the extra few hundred dollars to improve our standard of living, so we did--teaching me that what you pay for (or rather, what you can afford) is exactly what you get when it comes to apartments. The walls here are thicker and maintenance is better. Inside, the apartments use low-end wood-like flooring that looks nice but doesn't hold up extremely well, and the paint peels, but the room sizes are decent and the spaces are very clean, so overall, I'm quite happy with the apartment itself. The laundry rooms and hallways could use more consistent attention, though. The place would be better--but also a couple hundred dollars more expensive, so I deal with this. On the other hand, I appreciate my little balcony and the beautiful landscaping that Milford Trails keeps up with. I love seeing the landscaping trucks every few weeks when the weather's right. I feel privileged to live somewhere where natural beauty is a priority. With these plusses and minuses, the tie breaker is the fact that it's one of the few apartment complexes around that allows dogs. It seems most people here have dogs (including my family), and sometimes, in the middle of the day, one dog will start barking from a balcony, inciting the other dogs to bark from their balconies too and beginning a cacophony of dogs barking that mingles with the yells of children playing. If I didn't live with family, this fact alone would have made me decide to move already. To be fair, though, I'm a cat person who doesn't want kids and works from home.
They have recently raised the rent again... an additional $10 charge for grounds maintenance now... the let you pay online but charge you around $30 more to use a credit card. Staff is nice but this is a very old complex that has never been upgraded.
Milford Trail, the environment and location is great, parking is soso, and traffic is very poor….you will know what I mean when you come to view it….the appliances they provided are quite old (12-year-old microwave; 13-year-old refrigerator) makes the utility fee very high. The rental rate rises up every year, or extra fee. I personally have had very unhappy experience with the office manager.
