Nestled alongside the banks of the mighty Mississippi River, the Mill District is an exciting neighborhood in the eastern portion of Downtown Minneapolis. The Mill District is known for its stunning mix of historic architecture and modern delights.
The Mill District is home to a number of former flour mills, remnants of Minneapolis’ past life as the flour milling capital of the world. Many of these former flour mills have been converted into luxury lofts and condos. Even if you don’t live in one, you’ll appreciate the look of these impressive brick structures and their vintage signage juxtaposed against the modern Minneapolis skyline.
The neighborhood offers plenty of green space and opportunities for outdoor recreation at Mill Ruins Park and Gold Medal Park, along with close proximity to the Commons, U.S. Bank Stadium, and Bohemian Flats Park. Several cultural institutions call the neighborhood home, including Guthrie Theater and Mill City Museum.

Property Ratings at Mill City Quarter
The location as well as the apartment managers have been an added bonus to luxurious apartment I have had the pleasure of renting since the building opened, and please believe I do not want to leave anytime soon.
Property Manager at Mill City Quarter, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for the 5-star review! I will pass your kind words on to our leasing staff!
I have always been treated with the utmost of respect and courtesy since even before moving into my apartment.
I would recommend building based on location and value. I would not recommend community based on amenities or the transient residents.
I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to live here, it’s fabulous!
Well I like it because uts very close to transportation and downtown.
Mill City Quarter is a great value for beautiful apartments in a convenient neighborhood. I already recommended one family who recently became residents!
Love Mill city quarter, I would recommend it to anybody any day,
Location is great. would like quicker responding maintenance staff. Office hours are odd now. being closed on Wednesday it?s difficult especially with packages. Some residents are not the most desirable. but location is good as well as price.
YES
Despite the bad habits or weird things I see here, overall, its not about that. Its about MCQ in general, and if I had a choice of apartments to recommend to my family and friends, MCQ is highly recommended as its the best value, best quality and great Management and staff here. MCQ wins over anywhere in my opinion. This was my very first time moving on my own, my first apartment, and it already made me love it. I am 2 years in now and I would do another 2 years and so on, depending on future experiences.
its a good place to live if you can afford it. as I said with rents climbing everywhere while raises have not happened its starting to get too expensive.
great service just took very long to actually respond to my request and fix it.
It?s a beautiful living space with many great qualities, such as the layout of the apartment and the amenities. Plus it?s a much affordable place to live in downtown Minneapolis.
I would recommend mill city quaters because it is the best affordable living home & the staff are the best
This is a great place to live and enjoy. I would gladly recommend it to anyone and also I would gladly love to live here forever.
There is so much noise and weed smell here that I doubt many of my friends would like it, but it could be better with security.
It's a nice place for couples or single people. I wouldn't have a family of mine with kids because it's not a place for children no where for them to play outside
Would recommend because of the rooms, utilities are included, reasonable rent amount, all of the equipment in our room works well, nothing has broke. Would not recommend because of the short grace period (only 3 days), expensive late fee, expensive under ground parking (with no other option), and the elevators and hallways often smell like weed and/or cigarettes.
The smoking that leaks into the hallways is significant. If you tried showing apartments after 6:30 at night you'd find that people looking for a non-smoking building would defer to another choice.
The neighbors are wonderful. The location is unbeatable. The building is fantastic. The apartment itself is perfect. The staff are trying their hardest, and given time, they'll probably straighten out all the kinks. The staff/service is the weakest part, but the place itself outweighs any negatives. I'd recommend it to anyone.
I would recommend this place to others because of the location, the amenities, the staff and the style of the building.
I have recommended this apartment dwelling to many people at least five households came and two households ultimately moved in.
