Property Ratings at Mill Creek
I have lived here for 1.5 years and I can't wait for the closing on my new house. In my first 4 months here the ceiling fell in on my bathroom. Despite water pouring everywhere on my floor and onto my carpet for hours on end it took the staff three days for them to come take care of the problem. I eventually moved apartments several months later in the same community and they had still never finished the job of repairing my bathroom. Not to mention that they left their cumbersome equipment in my apartment for weeks afterwards with no communication or contact meanwhile using my electricity to run their industrial fans. I eventually became fed up with the apartment because it was sharing a wall with the maint shop which I was never told. The noise was outrageous. After asking to move apartments despite extra cost to me due to the noise they still charged a moving fee of 500 dollars. I get it but there was no flexibility on the price and I felt held hostage to living with machine shop noise or paying a large chunk of change. There have also been several occasions that the Maint staff have come into my apartment without my knowledge. One of the times I was asleep and he just let himself in. There was another review on here regarding smells and noise. If you need a quiet place to live the paper thin walls aren't for you they are very unforgiving for smells and noise. Every week I have a new smell that I investigate in my apartment trying to figure out where it is coming from. Thank goodness the place is close to everything - about the only saving grace. If you have another option for renting I would suggest having a look at that first.
The apartments are small, old, outdated, and very overpriced. I can't think of anything about the apartment, location, or amenities that justified the price for a one-bedroom apartment. Living space is small, and walls are thin. You will hear A LOT happening in the apartment next to yours, and any smells from surrounding apartments will certainly permeate your living space. The laundry spaces are dirty and the machines are often broken. Overall, not worth the price!
Sub urban, quiet and safe. Old but maintained and clean. Not updated with new appliances but manageable . Okay gym and not so clean swimming pool. Location does not offer so much but Walmart and target are within 4 miles. No covered parking but a safe place to park your cars. nice laundrys.
This place has lots of space and I appreciate the staff who work really hard to maintain this beautiful community. The surroundings are great, the neighbors are great and the facilities are well kept.
Provides a spacious living area, and balcony. The pool is very clean, and is often empty, which provides a peaceful atmosphere. A one bedroom with a balcony includes a spare room, which is a great addition. The apartments all have central air, which is nice on those hot days. Kitchens include a dishwasher and lots of cabinets. I had problems with my original refrigerator, and the main office showed up with a brand new one, which was great! Overall a good rental choice.
