I've lived here both between 2016-2018 and 2019-2022. The previous management was great, but the current property manager Brittany is incredibly incompetent and rude. Our basement flooded every time there was a large amount of precipitation and it was never fixed despite our attempts to contact them many times. Currently she is trying to blame us for not "contacting them again about this issue" when they failed to communicate with the maintenance team and forgot to follow up with the issue and refusing to reply to our emails with any solution. If you are ever even considering this place, arrange a viewing after a rainfall to see if your basement floods, or just ask them about it. They will most likely lie and say the basement gets a little wet but not bad, like our viewing agent did (our basement was basically unusable).

Do not attend to here. The management is terrible. When you are paying for your rent, they will looks helpful; when you are legally vacating for next place, they will be rude and no patient. When I was about to move out, I was cheated and paid an extra month's rent for nothing. This made me very angry. As a programmer myself, I am willing to spend most of my time legally advertising this terrible apartment online.

While the location and actual townhomes are decent the management and maintenance staff is awful. When I first moved in my door had a hole at the bottom where the door was wearing away. I submitted multiple maintenance requests, but they did not get around to replacing the door for over 6 months and we just had to deal with the bugs and higher heating bill due to the cold draft that would come in. When discussing a renewal deal with Pat, we were sent a new lease to sign. After looking over the lease we emailed him back with some questions we had. He did not reply to us for over a month! We called and left messages for him and emailed him multiple times. When we finally got a chance to talk with him a month later he said we waited too long to sign and the agreement was no longer available. From my experience you have to be very persistent if you want to actually achieve anything when working with the staff.
I lived here for two years, and every year they increased rent. After the second increase it became more than we could afford and they wouldn't work with us at all so we were forced to move. With the increase of rent every year you might think that the quality would go up, but it didn't. Over 2 year's our basement flooded literally everytime it rained, and when our central air went down they maintenance guys came out rigged the wires up wrong and the next day the townhouse had filled up with smoke. The pool may look nice but good luck trying to get in because a group of 10 local kids who didn't live there came over almost every day.

Staff is the least helpful. Management will screw you over far quicker than they will help you. Complex could have been nice if it were not for the people in the office. Very glad I left.

I moved to Ann Arbor for work, and this place was exactly what I was looking for. Beautiful outdoor pool set up with cabanas, a park next door, and the bus is right out front. I have a little yard in front with a privacy fence. Check it out!

Mill Creek Apartments was my number 1 choice in Ann Arbor. I was relocated for work so I never had the pleasure of moving in, but my experience with the leasing staff was amazing and the apartment I was going to move-in to was beautiful. I would 100% recommend checking Mill Creek out if you are looking to move to the Ann Arbor area.
I've lived here for my entire time being in the state. Unfortunately, it is a bit expensive, but the Townhomes are spacious and have a pretty good variety for types of homes. Basements are especially roomy and spacious and great for storage. It's especially nice when you have 1.5 bathrooms if you're sharing with someone. There is a bus stop just outside the complex, which makes getting downtown and to the campus area very easy (and from downtown you can get most anywhere.) It's a nice place to live, especially with the nearby park and pets are allowed. Parking usually isn't bad at all, and overall, the neighours I've had are friendly. Sometimes you get a loud "college kid" once in a while, but it's really not all that bad. Also, they include water and trash in rent, which is always a perk.
Pricey for this side of town, but pleasant neighbors, and reasonable services.
Its a great apartment for the value. We wouldn't pay more than what we're paying now, but it looks like this place will keep getting more expensive. Occasionally the basement can leak, old kitchen and not high quality maintenance, but they try. Overall, glad to be here. In hind site, would live somewhere else.
We first picked these townhomes because of the size, the layout and price. They were definitely the cheapest units that we found that fit our needs. We pretty quickly found out that these townhomes are as cheaply made on the inside as their rent reflects. Within less than a month our basement had flooded more than three times. The kitchen sink had broke twice, once for letting the kitchen and once clogging the sink for weeks. Getting matnence to come to the apartment was next to impossible. Months later and it's still not all fixed. That being said the layout of the townhome and the complex are very nice.
My husband and I have been living in our one-bedroom ranch townhome for just over one year. We have been very happy with our experience here. The staff has been very helpful - maintenance comes quickly and the people in the office are friendly and ready to help. We have had a few maintenance problems, but they are always fixed in a timely manner. They have had no problem getting us a new garbage disposal (within hours) and even a new water heater (within one day) when things broke. Our townhouse is nice. We like the layout and the large kitchen (only available in the one-bedroom ranch). We really like having a little yard to ourselves. When we got the townhouse, the previous owners had done nothing to the yard - it was just a muddy mess. We spent about $150 on plants, gravel, etc. and now our yard is very enjoyable to be in. It did take a while to get their approval for the project, but the office agreed to give us a credit towards our rent when we give them the receipts for the yard things we bought. The only problem we have with our house is that we do not have a washer and dryer (they only come with the 2 and 3 bedroom houses). There is a laundry facility off of the main office, but we just go to a laundromat (about 1.5 miles down the street). This is a hassle, and we would much prefer to have laundry at home. The area around Mill Creek is very nice too. The management does a great job keeping the common areas well maintained. The pool area is very nice. There is a large, grassy field great for playing sports in. There is also a playground area for kids. At the end of the complex, there is the Ann Arbor Mary Beth Doyle Park and Wetland Reserve. It is a beautiful park, with walking trails, a playground, basketball court, and frisbee golf course. This is probably my favorite thing about the location. We're also close to the library and bus stops. It's easy to get into town from here. We've been very happy here and would highly recommend Mill Creek.
