Snug between the grassy plains and mountain peaks, Fort Collins is a treat for the eyes. It’s also home to Colorado State University, a top-ranking school known for academic excellence. Like many college towns, Fort Collins provides a variety of shops, restaurants, nightlife, and entertainment in its downtown district, but the pull of the beautiful landscape might draw you outdoors most often. The nearby Rocky Mountains and Roosevelt National Forest are ideal for activities like hiking, biking, kayaking, and fishing. In the winter, sledding, skiing, and snowshoeing are popular.
Year-round events and festivals bring Fort Collins residents together. Whether it’s enjoying the popular summer concert series, catching a live musical performance at the Mishawaka Amphitheater, cheering on participants in the Colorado Marathon, or attending one of the popular music festivals, there’s always something exciting happening.

Property Ratings at Mill House on Willow
They call these luxury apartments, but they are nothing but cheap. Our first unit had patches that were unpainted, was not clean when we moved in, and the most worn out, cheap brown carpet. When we moved to our second unit, we requested it to be professionally cleaned, it was not. We also had to postpone our move in date because the property manager, Dewey, claimed he was going to repaint the unit, it was not. There are patches of unpainted spackle throughout the unit. The washer had a ton of black mold in the rubber seal and when we asked to get it replaced, we were told probably not because it costs $600 to do. There is also construction of a 5 story building right next store, so if your unit is there you will be looking into another apartment. The location is not worth it, look elsewhere.
