The small city of Vineyard is indisputably the fastest-developing community in the state, having grown from just over a hundred people to nearly 10,000 in the past ten years. Sitting just west of Orem on the shore of Utah Lake, much of Vineyard was filled up by farms and industrial facilities until recently, and the shift to residential zoning has seen a massive boom is construction of homes, condos, and apartment communities.
The terrific location puts you just an hour’s drive south of Salt Lake City (with east access to Interstate 15) and just minutes from the region’s stunning mountains, allowing you to easily go off the grid for skiing, hiking, or mountain biking on the weekends.

Property Ratings at Mill Point Apartments
I would NOT recommend living here. The staff is consistently rude and seems inconvenienced when asked basic questions over the phone. While I can tolerate the paper-thin walls that make it possible to hear everything happening in neighboring apartments, the parking situation is by far the most aggravating aspect. Guests are allowed until 2 AM, and anything beyond that results in towing. What's particularly frustrating about this place is the unoccupied covered parking and the insufficient uncovered parking. I was informed that these unoccupied stalls are 'assigned' to specific apartments, but it's evident that not all apartments are occupied. Despite this, I had to park far away at Top Golf because all uncovered parking spots were taken, while 60% of the covered parking remained empty. I have been towed TWICE on 400 N. when my pass is visible. So that's not happening a 3rd time. It's annoying to see these spots being reserved for potential residents, while current residents struggle with parking issues. Due to the ongoing problems with Mill Point, I can only see myself staying here for a year. Another HUGE frustration for me is the inconsistency of the garbage collection service in this community. Despite being aware of the two designated non-pickup days, the situation has escalated to the point where we go without trash collection for five consecutive days, despite being obligated to pay for and rely on this service. Consequently, we find ourselves having to handle our own garbage disposal regularly. Despite having expressed our concerns, there has been no improvement, and the leasing office seems ineffective in addressing issues affecting the complex. It's unfair to pay for a service that consistently falls short of its scheduled obligations. If you enjoy dealing with frustration, I would encourage you to contact Mill Point and consider living here, as they excel at making the living situation as exasperating as possible. I am so excited for their generic response to this review that they will probably copy and paste from all other answered reviews like this one.

Hello, we want to understand your disappointment. It’s important to us that our customers are more than satisfied and we would like the opportunity to resolve this issue immediately. If you give us a chance, our intent is focused on making this right and hope you will allow us to speak with you to discuss the situation. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience.
The management is the absolutely worst ever. They will tell you to your face that they have zero interest in helping you because their main priority is keeping the lenders happy. They've come into our apts like 6 times this year alone to check smoke detectors or to look around!! WHAT?! It's like theyre suspiciously poking around constantly. SUPER creepy way of acting when we're just trying to live our lives and feel safe. The corridors are constantly smelly and gross, rarely cleaned. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. This place isnt a home or place where you feel safe and comfy. This place is an encampment for prisoners who are vulnerable to the warden barging in at any moment, demanding to see your stuff like theyre trying to steal it. It's completely insane. DO NOT LIVE HERE. You will be super upset when you go anywhere else in town and realize how easily you couldve chosen those places. The pricing is similar and even CHEAPER in many places, but the treatment and quality of life is insanely better elsewhere.

Hello, We are sadden to hear that you feel this way. When we have needed to enter the apartment for safety inspections or work orders conducted by our maintenance team we have given all residents notice. We would love to discuss or go over any concerns you may have. Fee free to give us a call or swing by the leasing office. Thank you.
They will charge you for bogus things AFTER you have already moved out. Parking was a nightmare and then they would tow you for tiny infractions. They wouldn't let you put anything on the porch, claiming that it was a "fire hazard" and said to out the stuff in the living room (which is a bigger fire hazard), or to put it in the garage (we did not even have an option for a garage). Then they had a sixty day notice to vacate policy that they never made us aware, so we had to pay extra for days that we weren't even going to be there. The management is impossible to get ahold of and when you could they were wildly unhelpful. The walls were not even painted, only primed. After two months of living there, the laundry doors were falling off the hinges, and these were NEW apartments. Terrible all around. Not worth the ridiculous monthly rent they charge.

We are disheartened to hear you feel that way. Upon moving in all resident sign their lease agreement and agree to the charges and cleaning addendum that provides information regarding charges at move out. We would love to further discuss any concerns regarding your move out. Feel free to give us a call 801-922-5700 or swing by the leasing office. Thank you.
This apartment complex is a bottomless pit when it comes to taking money from you. Any hidden fee, or slightest possibility of charging a fee they could create, they do. Their website is not up to date so it is impossible to make a maintenance order and you have no access to your lease. They do not allow anything to be put on your deck and micromanage a terrible amount. They are cheaply made and poorly managed. Parking is terrible.

We are sadden to hear about your experience with parking at our community or our community rules and regulations. We are more then happy to discuss any concerns regarding the community in person if you would like to swing by or feel free to give us a call 801-922-5700. Thank you.
Why is this poor you ask? Let's start with the parking nightmare. Plain and simple there is not enough parking for residents and definitely not guests. Visitor parking is on a side street far away from some of the buildings. We had to park, if there was even any spaces available, call towing dispatch, text them a picture and leave details about what stall we are in and make and model of vehicle and length of visit. Then walk forever away just to visit our daughter. Then, when she moves out we find that we were supposed to get a key fob and parking pass as co-signers. Both of which we never received, they kept $150 from their deposit. When I called to inquire and work out this problem I was treated very rudely and hung up on. Great customer service right? We are all relieved and happy to be out from this place. Just choose another place to live. There are many better options. Better parking, better amenities and not so much hassle with staff when there are problems.

Hi there, we apologize there was such a problem with parking, and the miscommunication with your move-out charges. We would like to make this right for you, so please give us a call at 801-922-5700, or email us at millpoint@amcllc.net. Thank you so much, Mill Point Management Team
Apartment looks great on the surface, but started falling apart after 2 months. The countertop is not attached, the walls are not painted (just primed drywall), the laundry and closet doors won't latch, and the front door lock keeps getting jammed. These were brand new apartments when we moved in. There are also doors that keep hitting each other, drawers that will not open properly, and impractical spaces in the bathrooms. These apartments were very poorly planned in terms of their blueprint. Because of this, some damages are inevitable (scraping doors). I do not look forward for the charges they are going to place on us upon moving out for their shoddy workmanship. It was easy to see where they were cutting corners. The parking is terrible. There is no visitor parking, and they give out way too many uncovered parking passes when many of the covered spots are left unassigned. They also do not allow the option for more covered parking places or paying for a garage unit for certain buildings. They are also very selective with towing. Many times I have come home from work with people parked in the middle of the road. The complex does nothing about these abandoned vehicles. When I went to complain they said they gave them permission. If you are giving multiple people on multiple occasions permission to block the parking lot, then you have a serious issue on your hands. They also keep harassing our apartment for our patio. According to them (not the contract) nothing is supposed to be on the porch. Apparently you don't own that space during your lease. You are supposed to store your grill, bicycle, etc. in your apartment or, as one of the managers told me, in front of your car. They have no bike racks and as mentioned before will not allow my apartment to rent a garage unit. They are incredibly slow when it comes to maintenance requests, and only available during obscure times. Management is also hard to get a hold of. They look super cool on social media with their contests and such, but that is the only positive review I have for this place. We've never been able to use the amenities since we moved in. The lounge, gym, pool, hot tub have all been closed. It is understandable for covid, but the mandate has been lifted for over a month, and management will not give a straight answer as to when they'll open. The management is terrible to work with, and the complex does not keep their end of the contract. Do not move here. There are far better options.
