Property Ratings at Mill Pond Village
Good luck ever getting ahold of anyone, if you message or email no response, they have a message option on the app but there is no point to it because no one ever will reply. If you leave a message with the answering service asking for a call back they wont ever call back. If you go to the front office when theyre open (during hours everyone works so its so hard to get in if you need to talk or pick up a package) they’ll tell you they’ll call you back with an answer to your question, they wont. Your packages will be in a locked room only the front office has access to so if you package gets there on Friday and you get out of work later than 3 when they close you wont get your package until the next business day their open. Theres mice that are in the walls that will try and get in your apartment. They will continue to raise the rent for the same apartment you have been in for years without doing anything to make the increase worth it. My rent has gone up $500 in three years. Still the same paint, carpets that have dents and stains from previous tenants, and stained bathtubs. When you see black dots on the ceiling from asbestos coming through they’ll tell u its “just a stain” and paint over it. The windows leak when it rains, they’ll just put calk over it to “fix” it but by the next storm its leaking again. Theres mold in the toilet tank lids but when you ask to fix it they say “mold doesn't grown there its just stain” and they'll spray it with bleach and say its good. When you tell them you have cats and not to leave mouse traps in the open theyll hide one on the floor behind the toilet and when your cat gets stuck and you call 8 times asking to speak to someone because that should have never happened theyll keep ensuring you theyll call back and a manager will be right on it but they will ghost you and never reply. The acs drip water into the dirt by the front doors so its covered in green moss thats slippery and has such a strong smell. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all cost.
The unit itself was nice but office staff is awful. You can call every day for weeks on end and leave 20 messages and no one will get back to you. You have to email 3-4 times before they maybe respond. You need to go into the office in person if you need anything. It took almost 2 months to get our security deposit back. We didn't get our lease renewal until a month before our lease ended. We had a huge basement that we couldn't use because it got 1-2 inches of water every time it rained. The gym that was set to open in April 2023 still isn't open except during office hours (when normal people are at work). Lots of unleashed dogs running around the property & residents don't pick up dog poop. The unit itself was nice enough & maintenance was great but don't expect anything from the office staff.
Going on 6yrs here. Both myself and my Aunt love it here. My Aunt is mentally challenged and has been treated with the respect she deserves. This means alot. We would like to thank millpond for making our townhouse a home.

Hi! Thank you for posting your positive review. Our team here at Millpond is committed to providing high-quality customer service, and we’re thrilled to hear that we made a good impression on you and your Aunt.
the home is decent but the response and support from the office is nonexistent. They send phone calls to a third party and then never get back to you. They answer emails about 10% of the time. There is little support from maintenance. Only bandaids.

I like living here because it's pretty quiet. The staff are friendly and helpful. I haven't been here that long. So far it's been good. The apartment is just right for me and my daughter. We enjoyed the pool. The laundry room is close by.

Well, the staff here are friendly, neighbors aren't too bad and so far any issues I've had with my unit have been dealt with had been done in a reasonable time and professional manner.

I have been living at Mill Pond for nine years now and have seldom had a serious problem. When problems have arisen over the years the staff respond quickly with long-lasting solutions. The staff members are always kind and professional. My neighbors are quiet and very nice. Overall I feel valued, respected, and safe in this community. Highly recommend!

El personal es muy gentil y humildes aparte el lugar es muy tranquilo y limpio
I am very pleased with the community and with management. I wish to see the pool and the gym open as soon as possible.
The grounds look very good. They recently powerwashed all buildings. Looks great! Had a small issue in the first couple months of living here but staff and maintenance took care of the situation. The revpamed units look nice.
Mill Pond Village is the best place that I have had the pleasure of living! The maintenance staff as well as the leasing office staff are all very nice, professional and courteous and the apartments are clean and have great layouts. I have loved living here the past 3 years and look forward to living here for the foreseeable future!
Millpond is managed by 1 of the best Property Manager's I have ever encountered. Nancy is so kind and genuine! The grounds are maintained beautifully and the maintenance staff are beyond knowledgeable and do everything with care I have enjoyed my almost 4 years of living here
We still live here, even after negative influence, we learned to love our home and enjoy the office staff and the maintenance staff for all they do to improve this community.
I have been here since 2017. I felt at home right away. Started making lasting friendships right away. Grounds are kept beautifully. The pool is a plus.
Service is good and they really take care of there residents.
Millpond village experiance for my self and my family is a very safe place I have never had any. Concerns the staff is great willing to work our needs. I like living here and enjoy my stay
My view over all of MPV is a decent place to live.
I have found living in Millpond Village to be a pleasant experience. The building I live in is quiet. The grounds are well kept but I do get disgusted by the way people throw their trash on the ground when there are sufficient receptacles. Also people drive way too fast through the complex and don't stop at stop signs in the complex or the one at the exit onto the main road. One other thing is that people tend to blast their particular genre of music outside. Sometimes I find that sitting out side unpleasant be cause of the music which often contains offensive language. In the winter, snow removal is done in a timely fashion.
I have lived here since March almost a year now I have lived here with my son and we have enjoyed it very much. It is in a quiet location of town with many amenities nearby. My Apartments large and spacious an open I love the floor plan. It has many amenities for families such as the pool the playground, basketball court and even its own little dog park which I love having a small dog myself.
Each year gets better....., we've lived here since "2018" and I must say if you try to be kind and neighborly and you show you care about your neighbor's which we have done so many many times, that this is a great place to live....
My husband and I are in transition to getting to our forever home and it has been a place, that if we had time, to enjoy the pool, playground, basketball court, gym, recreation room etc. It is important to be 20 minutes from Hartford and probably the same to Mass.
The apartment is roomy and the outdoors looks pretty.
Mill Pond has genuinely been a great place to call home. Management, Office staff and Maintenance are always pleasant, kind and willing to help.
A peaceful, well maintained neighborhood, supported by a great management team.
The Mill Pond Village maintenance crew is phenomenal! They are prompt, courteous, respectful and professional.
I love living there. I like the safety of the building. I like the facts that maintenance staff are nice, helpful and friendly. I like the way the community is well maintained. I recommend the potholes under the u deep add to be fixed next to my building.
I like that management is prompt, professional and courteous. I like that maintenance is prompt when it comes to fixing things and keeping up with the landscaping. I like that everything is pretty convenient since Mill Pond is pretty secluded as far as a laundry facility, a gym, a park for the kids, a pool, the drop box for packages and the mail slot for outgoing mail, plenty of parking and that heat and hot water is included (which is a god sent)! I also like the peace and tranquility of living at Mill Pond especially the country-like setting!
I really like the community. Some People seem friendly and helpful and thats very special. I like the safety of the doors outside. I like the fact that we have cameras..
Love it here. My neighbors are like family. Management goes above and beyond. I am happy to call Millpond my home.
Mill Pond Village nice area to live in. Apartments could be better if management would bring the apts out of the 70's
If you want to raise a family in the suburbs and be close enough I-91, and majors shopping stores. This is Mill Pond Village property might be for you.
Me gusta vivir en Millpond Village porque es un lugar muy tranquilo. El apartamento es cómodo y espacioso.
I am more than pleased with the staff at Mill Pond
The walls seem thin as I can hear all my neighbors and cars outside. The appliances and apartments are nice. The prices is good for the apartments. I have not used the amenities yet but I am impressed with the variety of amenities.
Mill Pond Village is pleasant and safe place to live. We are usually satisfied with the resolution of problems that we might face.
We are a long term residents here at Millpond Village and seem many many changes here that involved new residents. Some okay and some not so okay. Overall a wonderful place to raise a family.
Mill Pond Village is always responsive to the needs and concerns of the residents. It is a pleasant and safe place to live.
Millpond Village is wonderful place to live. Summer time here with the pool open is refreshing.
I've been there for ten years, and I'm content with everybody! No complaints!! Thanks!
Mill Pond Village is a very pleasant place to live. Careful attention is always paid to the concerns of the residents.
I love living at Mill Pond because of the proximity to Hartford, Springfield etc..You live in a country setting but you're close to major cities as well. There's also plenty of parking, a pool, gym, clubhouse and heat and hot water is included. I mean what more can you ask for! Thanks Mill Pond!
At mill pond village the staff really values their tenants. The quality of the apartments and they layout is amazing especially for the price. Having heat and hot water included as well as a walk in closet?! I'm so happy that I made the move here and absolutely love where I live.
I love living here. The office staff have been very helpful and responsive and Freddie with maintenance has been great at the very few issues I've had over the years. Nice playground for my son which he loves. The free WiFi in the office/community area helped when I didn't have internet. They have a movie room and small gym with tv and a nice community room with couches and tv and radio you can rent for get togethers or parties. They have a pool in the warm months which is a big bonus. I feel safe in my building which is locked and secure. They did great this winter clearing the snow and ice. These guys go above and beyond here. The office staff and maintenance. They always leave notes if they need to get in your apartment so you have usually 48 hour notice which is really nice. They aren't invasive at all. They do checks on smoke detectors and appliances every year which I like. It takes me feel safer. I love Mill Pond and yes sometimes it can be a little loud in my building due to kids, but I have a kid so I understand. Most have kids in my building. But the noise isn't daily it's not often at all. My building is nice and quiet. Only thing I would change is the bus stop area being closer to me as I have back problems and arthritis and the walk to the bus stop can sometimes be very painful. But that's due to my own problems. Everything else I wouldn't change. Oh and they have laundry rooms which is awesome. And there's a convenience store right outside the complex. I really love it here.
Mill Pond Village is an excellent place to live. The office staff is very pleasant and has great concern for the comfort and safety of the residents. Maintenance requests are handled quickly and efficiently. The grounds are clean and the landscaping is kept in good order.
Mill Pond is a very pleasant community. Any resident issues are handles quickly and courteously.
We are long term residents, and enjoy living here. Thank You !
Is there an option to give 0 stars... I moved into a townhouse back in January. There is many issues with the townhouse. Slider door doesn't lock, screen door needs new screen, bathtub is peeling, mold on Windows, and much more. The office management and maintenance have been told and nothing had been done. It's been 7 months and I am so unhappy here . Also NO ONE likes to park right. Management says they handed out notices,etc... How about assigned parking like other complexes. People park in fire lanes, handicapped when they don't have a Sticker, etc. The price might have been right during the winter season... but DON'T EVER MOVE HERE EVEN IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT
Millpond is a relaxing place to live. Surrounded by nature and friendly neighbors. Excited to be at home here at the end of every day.
