Property Ratings at Mill Village
I lived here for about two and a half years and I’m so happy to be out. The apartments are very old and falling apart. The entire floor of my apartment was slanted in so much, I had to command hook furniture to the wall. If you are planning on leaving before staying for two years you will also have to pay $225 to have the unit repainted after you leave. My kitchen faucet would start to drip and leak whenever I would run the dishwasher to the point I gave up calling it into maintenance every week or so. Property management has a very patch-it kind of take when it comes to maintenance and will certainly take their time with big repairs or anything they can write off the buildings just being “old”; getting contractors in to my unit to fix the creaking floors my neighbors and I were complaining about was like pulling teeth. I have had my downstairs neighbors try to fight me on our front porch and the best advice management could give me was “just try to talk it out”. Of the very few upsides to living here was the assistant manager Meridith. Unlike the management company as well as her boss, Meridith actually cares about the tenants; she really will go out of her way to accommodate everyone anyway she can. She always had the right answer for any question I had or she if she didn't know, she would actually get back to me the next day with the info. Meredith also stayed late several times in order to accommodate my work schedule when it came to dropping off paperwork. Sadly there is only so much the assistant manager can do for you. Overall getting any work in your unit is an uphill battle, management's overall tone is one up indifference, and neighbors range from very friendly and genuine to filing police reports.
I have been a resident of Mill Village for 5 years. Washer-dryer in the unit. No more laundry mat. Everything is included except Electric which isn't bad. The office staff Meredith is great. She does her best for each one of the tenants. She really makes a personal experience. She waves when she sees the residents & always asks if she can do anything for us or to help. I saw her over the weekend picking up trash in front of the dumpsters. Kudos Meredith for your hard work. It is dully noted. Butch & Paul the maintenance are always polite and on time. They take care of what needs to be done in a timely manner. Thank you Mill Village !
I've called Mill Village home for over 10 years now. The property manager Meredith is a great person to work with. Any and every time I need anything she is ready and willing to help. She make the residents feel like top priority. I've seen a few managers come and go and she's by far the best.

I love living here—Meredith in the front office is wonderful and so welcoming. I’ve never had an issue she didn’t address! Maintenance is super efficient and fixes any issue promptly. I didn’t have a second thought about this place after my first encounter with the office staff!
Me and my family been living here for almost a year, in the 900 block. Meredith is the best property manager we ever met the maintenance team is funny professional and quick with the work. And if they can’t fix it right away they tell you why and what steps are being taken. If anybody has a bad review on anything they are foolish don’t listen to any bad reviews at all !
The lady at the front desk Meredith waters is just amazing, she is so patient, does what she tells you she is going to do, always has a smile on her face. All around a great person for the job. In all honesty they need more people like her. She gets her job done. I recommend if you want to rent from milvillage you should speak to Meredith she will get you moved in and comfy.

I’ve lived here four months now and I couldn’t be happier. My apartment is updated, new bathroom and shower. All amenities including a garbage disposal. The staff is great, both the leasing office and maintenance crews are friendly and happy to help with an issues that can occur. Located 2 mins from highway 55 it’s a great location. Highly recommend.
I would love my apartment but there's to many maitanence issues that's doesn't get resolved when they should.
In my opinion, based on the way taxes are constantly rising in New Jersey, this apartment complex is one of the best you can get. Considering that the price is at 727 with utilities included and a safe environment for adults and children alike, the apartment is hard to overlook. What's great is that for people starting credit its a great way to improve upon it. Yes, it requires a deposit but it definitely is doable. (3 months rent) and leaves leeway for you to save while you arent paying. Maintenence is not the best, considering it's proves somewhat difficult to get them to come out for small situations. For example, my girlfriend and i live in a one bedroom on the second floor. We had virtually a flood through the ceiling. They fixed the necessities. That's it. Floor has yet to be cleaned professionally and walls have not yet been repainted, however; they did manage to stop the flood from reocurring anytime soon. That being said, they fix necessities only, unless you haggle them constantly which shouldn't have to be done in the first place. Otherwise i reassure that the actual apartment itself is very homely and has kept my girlfriend and i extremely happy while attending the local college.
