The neighbourhood is safe and quiet. Maintenance crews works really fast and efficiently. I really love living here.
I’ve been a resident since 11/1/2024 and from the initial tour until now I can say the experience has been stellar. Kiara who toured and was my first point of contact answered all necessary questions for both myself and my cousin, I went home and immediately applied, I was able to have a turnaround of 24 hours for the entire application process! This was of course due to me providing all necessary documentation and filled the application completely out and worked diligently to provide all that was needed! I was able to move in on my expected move in date with no issues. Erica who runs the property does an amazing job and assists with any questions I may have when no leasing consultants are available. The entire staff was very professional, knowledgeable and personable! Terry is always my support system on Saturdays and beyond, If any concerns she always addresses them in a timely fashion! I truly love the office and the neighborhood so far very convenient to shop, work and school! I’ll be back for another update in a few months but I know as long as sage is managing this property it will always be a great experience.
I love living here. I feel safe.The grou ds are well kept. Grass is always cut in summer and in the winter leaves are removed. I also feel safe. No loud music, and neighbors always walk their dogs on their leash The Ladies in the office are very friendly and always help if I come into the office. The maintanance man Mr John Brown always stop and speak. If I have a repair he is always professional. Mr Joe is a very nice Manager. Merry Cristmas Everyone

really enjoy being here so far. It’s been 2 months but so far so good. It’s is spacious and cozy for us. Neighbors are nice and the leasing office is helpful which is such a relief. I love speaking with Michelle she is understanding and helpful.
Mills Crossing is a great place to live! Joe, Tatjana, Michelle, Kiara, and John Bell all take pride in providing a stellar experience for all of their residents. The townhomes are newly renovated, spacious, and affordable.
I’ve been here for 2 years and any issues I’ve had were resolved. In my experience they’re quick to resolve any issues or concerns. They’re easy to communicate with and my place is enjoyable due to the quick response and great communication from the office staff. I feel like they care about the upkeep of the community with various emails and text reminders about policies. Also, for those who need a little extra assistance they offer programs and resources to help with rental expenses.
There are some issues that needs fixing but overall it is a nice place to live.
My family and I have been residing at Mills Crossing for almost three years now. The townhomes are newly renovated and have a fully-equipped washer and dryer. Our living area is spacious and we enjoy the convenience of being within close proximity to the Clubhouse amenities. The Leasing team is friendly, professional, and attentive. The maintenance team responds the same day to any requests. Mills Crossing is also convenient to a lot of shopping centers and restaurants in Owings Mills. I could not ask for a better place to call home!
Michelle, was very nice & helpful. My moving process was easy and smooth. She got me locked in with an amazing rate and end of the year deal which was very beneficial. I enjoy the financial programs they have to offer and fast responses. It’s been almost a month since my move-in date and I have to say I am happy.
I’ve been living here since 2020 and I must say it’s been a great experience. My home is spacious and the neighborhood is clean and quiet. Any issues I may have they have solved it quickly and had immediately follow up. I would recommend this priority to any of my family and friends.
Great space for 2 people, the bathrooms are really nice and the spaces are perfect sizing for a first apartment but also classy vibe. Haven’t had any complaints with any utilities either
Space is small, trash often left outside of dumpsters, rodent problems. Case searched myself and noticed two cases for not paying rent on time....have never been late, been charged late fees or given notice about late rent.

We’ve been living here for over a year and there was no problem. Our issues and requests were taken cared of promptly and effectively by the staffs of Mills Crossing. Joe has been leading the staffs well. They are professional and pleasant to do business with. Good work! A good place to stay!
I'e had numerous leaks, a constant mold issue that management has done little to nothing about, & the maintenance team is the laziest I've ever seen. I hear mice scratching in the walls, luckily they haven't found their way in my actual apartment. YET smh

The property has improved so much since Mr. Joe has become property manager. I called into report an issue that I was having, and Mr. Joe took time out of his busy day to come over and fix the situation himself. Mr. John Brown from the maintenance team always goes above the call of duty to ensure that any maintenance repair that I put in is done properly with a smile on his face. He is very respectable and trustworthy, and I am very happy with the service he provides. I have also called into the leasing office and spoke with Kiara who is very helpful and pleasant and very professional at all times. The new office team has really turned the property around. I’ve been living here for a while now and I must say the experience has been great no real complaints. Whenever I’ve had a maintenance issue they came immediately and fixed the issue. It’s spacious and a quiet community. I would recommend this community to anybody looking for a place to call home.
Infested with mice, and roaches terrible expensive but you are paying for project living conditions.

I have lived in this community for more than 20 years. In that time I have seen new staff, new property owners etc. Some good and some not so good. Out with the old. In with the new. Drum roll please ... the new, Mills Crossing Apartments has a professional and caring staff. They will listen to you and act expeditiously to all concerns big or small. Stellar service is given to both new and existing residents everyday. As a resident you will alwsys feel valued. Among the many impressive imenities provided to the residents at Mills Crossing Apartments staff is information transparency. Getting a heads up on up coming/present changes that could effect a residents daily experience. Because of this residents are able to plan their day with little to no stress or inconvenience. The maintance staff has me at a loss for words. If it's broke, they will fix it. And fix it right. If it's a extended situation rest assured they won't stop until it is resolved. When maintence enters your home the first thing you will notice is their clean and proffessinal uniformed apperance. Mills Crossing Apartments maintenance staff respects you and your home and invites the residents input/concerns. Their empathy and knowledge will leave you both amazed and at ease. This place is rodent infested, termite infested, mole infested. They will tell you they are going to take care of it, don't believe them. They are going to send out Queen B pest control. They will not go anything to help your problem but the minimum to say they were at your unit. Don't be foolish like I was to believe them. If you come here you will end up sick just like I am right now. I throw up every day fever chills pains skin broke out. Hey this place not worth your health. The hurting party of it all Mr Joe absolutely did nothing to help me but make broken promises and try to hide his out of control infestations taking over the property. Sage ventures terrible manage meant company I've ever experienced. . Stay away your health depends on it
I applied and was approved. Submitted all documentation- including 1 month of pay stubs. Was later told that due to COVID, they needed 2 months of my bank statements in order to verify my paystubs matched my bank deposits. I asked why didn’t they verify my information with my employer and was told that that is their policy and if I didn’t like it or agree to give them the information, they would cancel my application and they refused to give me back the holding fee of $250! On top of all of that, the property manager was rude and kept over talking me.Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your money and time. I’ve never heard of an apartment community needing 2 months of bank statements!!! Absolutely absurd!
If i could do ZERO I would. I experienced mold & mildew in the apartment and on my furniture, serious leaks in the apartment, loud neighbors above your head, no sleep. Staff not helpful at all.
I only went for a tour of the townhouse & the staff was unfriendly. When I asked to look at one of the other townhomes I was told that I had to pay the $250 non refundable fee in addition to the $35 application fee just to tour !
Townhouse is comfy, cozy and clean. Neighbors are a bit noisy and you can hear through the walls. We did have a mouse the first week but we haven't seen it since. Everyone we've interacted with has been very kind and welcoming. Happy so far!
I moved here in August 2020 and haven’t had a single problem these other reviews are stating, my experience is actually the complete opposite. Me being a single young woman, rodents and my safety were my 2 main concerns since I was moving into the one bedroom apartments behind the townhouse but ever since I moved here I’ve been at peace. I haven’t had no more than a cricket in my apartment and when I brought it to the leasing company’s attention, an exterminator was there that week and haven’t heard a cricket since. I haven’t encountered in loud or obnoxious neighbors, the most I hear is my neighbors walking throughout their townhouse. My apartment has literally been my happy place and I can’t believe others don’t have the same.
My family has rented a townhouse from Mills Crossings for the past 5 months. I am very happy with the neighborhood and with my home. I did have a problem with the plumbing once. But, maintenance and plumber came and fixed it the next day! I was very appreciative that it was handled so quickly. I have not had a problem with plumbing since. I do not see any rodents or bugs. I am thrilled that it is clean and I do not have to deal with that. Any company that comes to visit always gives me compliments about my townhome and the neighborhood!

As an update to the review I left about the terrible mice infestation, not only are the leasing agents complacent, they are extremely rude as well. I work hard to pay my rent and I have maintained a spotless account for one year but they have the nerve to hang up on me talking about my responsibilities as a homeowner when I call for help with mice squeaking under my stove!. Hello!! This is your house/home not mine! I pay to live here and it is a dump!! Terrible apartment complex; terrible conditions; terrible management. All in all, this place deserves a minus 9 in stars. One star is ten too many!!! Run!!! Three months of dealing with multiple mice yet I continue to pay and call for help. I called the office two days ago and someone came to take out another dead mouse. Why did you not put my apartment on the extermination list again? Do better!!! You have a responsibility to build and offer homes safe for habitation but your town homes are filled with holes and everything falls apart!!! Do better!
I was happy to lease one of the townhomes a year ago but one year later it’s been premium tears. The bathroom tap has broken more times than I count and this has led to me completely turning off my hot water to stop maintenance from coming in every other day to fix a problem that would recur the next. The neighborhood is terrible! I lived in fear my first few months from neighbor’s fights and quarrels to my window screen actually being torn and we could never figure out if it was a break in attempt or the neighbor’s kids being bad. The rodent issue is the biggest of all. I have personally killed four mice while the exterminator’s traps did nothing. I’m scared to go downstairs because last night a mouse was continuously squeaking under the stove while another was running around trying to get to it. It’s miceville here now. The entire apartment stinks and my kids are uncomfortable. Earlier this year when I asked to transfer due to the mice issue, I was told I had to wait till my lease expired and would then have to pay a transfer fee!! Pay a fee after sweating out over 90 days living with mice? I cannot explain how uncomfortable my kids and I have been, living in these conditions. More than once, I have had to call for back up to take dead mice out of the apartment. My home is clean but the poor finishing in these buildings leave countless holes for rodents to come in. I had used gorilla tape to seal countless holes when I moved in but after 9months, the rodents found a way. I have kids with allergies and they are forced to live in a home with obvious unbearable rodent infestation.I cannot wait for my lease to be up. Stay away for your own good!
It Is The Worse Management & Property Ever . I Been Here For 5 Months & Everything Is Falling Apart & Leaking. The Owner For The Property Don’t Get Nothing Fixed. My Roof Been Collecting Water For The Past Month. It’s A lot Of Serious Maintenance Problems.
I’ve resided her for 5 months now and i’m very unhappy. We were told our move-in date was November 1st, yet maintenance was in our house for a following TWO weeks doing work. They left walls unpainted, cabenets broken, the dish washer disconnected from the wall and much more (i eventually said don’t bother because we couldn’t have anytime in our new house without them here.) Every time I leave a message for maintenance it seems to go unheard for weeks until I bring it up again. The rent is WAY too high for this quality of living; The walls are so thin, i hear my neighbors talking. There are constantly cars jamming music driving through the neighborhood and kids getting into trouble right up the road. Trash and litter cover the whole back woods and there’s always equipment left in my yard. Absolutely terrible.
I just wanted to say that since the new management company SAGE Ventures has taken over it has been a lot of changes. The maintenance request has been taken care of same day and the staff customer service is outstanding. ANY time I have come to the rental office my issues has been resolved on the spot or the very next day. I always feel welcomed when coming to the rental office. I was going to move when my lease was up last year but when the new management company took over they did a complete make over, sent letters to the residents for any concerns to get them resolved. I would recommend this property to family and friends.
Kevin came with new sage management, very polite and very mannerable. Uniform was very neat and clean. He left notice that he was in apartment. It took last management four months before this guy came and he gave me a dryer in two days. He was great, listened to me, and real kind. He promised he would come back and he did. I really appreciate his help and he even took the time to take care of other issues that he didn’t have on his work order.
