As of writing this I have 5 open maintenance tickets. 3 of which are over 3 months old. I have sent half a dozen un-answered emails. You can't call because no one ever picks up and they disabled the voicemail box. I once managed to locate one of the office staff and forced them to walk to my apartment and acknowledge the issues and 2 months has gone by with nothing. There are piles of trash in the hallways, homeless people living in the back lot, and the "renovations" were abandoned (I've been told its because they failed to pay the renovation company). The windows are falling out, debris from the hurricanes is still everywhere, the last 1/4 of the complex is partially panted because the painters left, and there's been a 2nd story balcony with the guardrail just leaning against the wall for at least 6 months now. Last summer both pools were closed all summer and the grass around the complex was waist-high. This is truly the worst place I have ever lived.

I have had an awful experience living at Milo Bayside. The "newly renovated" unit that I lived in for 2 months had a serious mold problem which affected my health and damaged my personal property. The apartments are being renovated very fast and have some serious structural issues as a result. When I realized the extent of the problem, I immediately contacted the office. Milo Bayside took 2 weeks to even respond to the problem and when they did, I was told that they had no units to transfer me too and I would have to move out. I had to stay at a hotel for over a week while trying to quickly search for a new apartment. The whole situation was extremely stressful, made even more stressful by poor management that does not respond to emails or phone calls. Now, Milo Bayside owes me over $3,000 in expenses incurred due to this mold issue, including my deposit, hotel fees, and movers fees and it has been over 40 days since I've moved out. I was told that I would receive these reimbursements within 30 days of move out. Now, I cannot even get a response from anyone at Milo Bayside or the corporate office as to when I can expect to see my money. On top of that, they refuse to refund the $1,000s I've lost in clothing, furniture, and other items, all of which had to be discarded due to the mold. Save yourself the headache and protect you and your family's health and personal belongings and stay far away from these apartments. Management is incompetent and unhelpful and I highly recommend you look elsewhere.

Milo Bayside does not care that they have multiple units that have flooding issues, I said it multiple. It's not from tropical storms or hurricanes, but whenever the Sunshine city decides she wants it to rain. Lurin should bulldoze the place to the ground. DO NOT MOVE HERE. Tour while it's raining and see how bad the walk ways flood with water to get a real scope of how bad it is here. Everyone in the office is kind but this place is trash and everyone knows it.

Property management is unhelpful, rude, non-communicative pretty much doesn't care, they never do property inspections you constantly have to put in requests about everything. Major renovations to entire property for 3 years has started, if you want to live in that mess good luck. Everything here is dirty old disgusting not kept up and the model they showed us was not the model we moved into, it was only partially renovated. The only good think I can say is not about the property but the location - great for Tampa, downtown St Pete and the Beaches.

The apartment is okay for the price. Milo Bayside is doing a lot to change the “appearance” of the complex but is doing nothing to fix the issues people actually complain about. It is all just to increase prices and attract more people. However, everyone here continues to complain that their own issues don’t get resolved. When I moved in, my place apartment was absolutely filthy. There was dirt and hair all over the place and it looked like whoever painted just rolled on top of everything (door knobs, the thermostat, parts of windows, the shower tub, etc.). I gave up trying to scrape paint off everything. The vents are all dusty and haven’t been cleaned probably ever. The community however is very welcoming and friendly. I just wish they put more care into the apartments themselves. It gives me the impression that once someone signs a lease, they no longer care about whether the place is in good condition or not.

Super noisy, coming from all directions. Sounds bounces off everything. Maintenance is lazy and slow to fulfill requests and management doesn’t care. Parking lot is usually overflowing with cars to where it’s almost impossible to find parking after a long nights work. Needs reserve parking for residents.

The rent is raised after the first year. Its doesn't make any sense because its the same apartment it was when I moved in (a rip-off) They make it difficult to make a full payment if you need to use 2 accounts to make a full payment( No partial payment) which results in a fee. Paper-thin walls (no peace), gnats can get out of control, not so nice staff, lack of parking spaces, and unsafe surroundings. Save yourself the trouble.

The first year was okay aside from all the nightly/early morning noise from neighbors and constant battle with gnats. In addition it doesn't feel like the safest atmosphere and as Harlow says in email, "Your safety is your responsibility" After the first year they went up on rent which makes staying here no longer worth it. The rent is just too much for the property and immediate surroundings (wanderers and inconsiderate neighbors). I'm glad to say this will be my second and last year living at Harlow at Gateway.

Many car break ins..no security cameras..the security that they have, has many places they drive threw so not on property but time wise not at all.. they are trying to fix up the place outside but just to let you know the hammocks outside are now beds for homeless at night when I go to walk my dog at 4 in the morning there's people sleeping on them and that's because they don't have security.... you can check out police reports from the complex....

I rented an apartment(#101) and moved in and out within 24 hours. I found a bug in the apartment which the exterminator verified was a live bed bug. I had come to find that previously the apartment has been infested. The exterminator had treated 3 times. I was assured my management that there had never been in issue with bed bugs. They did not disclose. They are dishonest and feel that a coat of paint fixed a very dated apartment. Do not rent here.

And, we've communicated with you each step we took to make your apartment ready for move-in. We understand since the initial report to our office on move-in day, our team quickly responded and had a professional onsite the following morning. We offered alternative housing arrangements or a transfer to another apartment, which were not accepted. In addition, we have made restitution on your account. It seems you still have some concerns, which we are happy to go over with you by calling our office.
Not only does the rent rise with arrival of new property managers but they still ignore maintenance. After many months a leak in laundry room was finally found to be the water heater. The heater is quite rusted. But the real kicker is that it is a gas heater. It has a vent on the top. The chimney is not connected to the vent allowing exhaust gasses to escape. I'm assuming there is a reason for a chimney to be there. A week after being reported there is nothing done about a hazardous situation. Typical.

I've now spent a year here, finally I get to move. Yes the one bedroom has a nice big room but, the apartment they moved me into had stained carpets, burned counters, a broken fridge, a broken front door. It was a disaster. Despite my many complaints, the front door still isn't sealed. Almost the entire year they've been under construction, shutting down the gym and waking me up because I generally work until midnight. Rent has slowly gone up and yet I live in this crappy, broken apartment. Parking is a joke because they don't regulate the cars that belong here or don't run. Laundry is a joke, by my math we have 16 units per laundry room where they only have 2 washers and 2 dryers. I've literally walked in on someone shooting up in our laundry room. I'm thrilled to be getting out.
The 1 bedroom apartment is huge, rent is great, which includes Water. The staff seems to be a great team of ladies, willing to help anyone who comes through the doors. Im glad I stopped by last Tuesday, because it gave me and my son a nice place to live. Thanks to The Vibe!
Living at the Vibe has been a awesome experience for me. The pool area with a barbecue is a plus , and the set up of the apartments are great. I love the fact that there is a balcony to go and sit there after work or hang out early in the morning. If there was a down side is parking , sometimes you have to park away from your building , because all the parking spots are gone. But overall it has been great and it's close to my job and shopping centers. Thanks
These apartments are very spacious with access to so many things in our community. I can walk to so many stores and restaurants instead of driving. It's nice to have a choice of carpet or vinyl floors so you can customize your apartment the way one likes it. The staff is great with awesome service.
The pools are nice and I love the screened in balcony. It's nice to feel the breeze without mosquitos bothering you. The highways are close by and tampa is just 25 minutes away.
When we first moved into Palmway Village (previous owner), I would have given this place 3.5 stars. The 2 bedroom apt are on the small side (more like 800 sq ft, we measured), but we loved the security that kept things in check. Our hallways were always clean, but they were also invasive coming up with excuses to come into apts 6-10 times a year. Now that Vibe has taken over the rent has been raised astronomically, there is no security anymore (which means crime has gone up), our hallways are never clean & they are just as invasive as ever. Not worth the prices that they are charging. It is also much less of a friendly atmosphere between residents & employees as it was. They need to know that roofs over the mail boxes, & some green and blue paint doesn't matter if you walk out your door to dirty hallways & a bad element... if they want to curtail drug dealers, hustlers & bad elements in their parking lot without security guards, maybe making this a gated community would help... P.S. they say call the police, but Saint Pete's finest have better things to do then patrol our complex...
I have lived here for 2 years and like this place. Staff is great, now that they got rid of that Desiree girl. Manager is always available, clean and cheap...will renew if price doesn't go up.
I actually love this place. They are doing so many things to make the property better. Organic garden, gazebo, new landscaping, new pool furniture. The apartments are nice. Great place to call home.
It's nice and quite. In a great area, all stores are less than a mile away. Downtown is only 15 minutes away. C:
These apartments look nice and come at a good price but i cannot honestly say that we are happy with them. The staff are fast and repairs are immediate and they are all very nice and professional but like to get to know their tenants which is great but when it comes to the people living here it is not so great. There is a lot of illegal activity and police around most of the time and the kids around the area are very disrespectful to those living here . We have lived here a little over a year but it has proven to have many problems.If you keep to yourself, don't go to the pool, or go out at night you are fine however if you do i would not recommend it .
I live in a 2 bedroom and 2 full baths which gives us a lot of privacy We have walk in closets very spacious. The water is included in your rent so there are no surprises. You can walk right to the grocery store and there is also a Target and the bus stop is rihgt there Blinds come with every apts there is als different apts but different prices so i hope you come to St.Petersburg and come to see Palmway Apts
