Mily on Green

My lease started 7/1 ; it is now 7/9. I have sent multiple emails and left numerous voice messages and I have yet to get in touch with anymore about move-in instructions. There is no one at the location to help or provide any assistance. The property has changed management since I applied and the new team has not been in communication with me at all. This is extremely inconvenient for my family and I, and quite unprofessional. No one has reached out or contacted me.

As the other comments says, package system is poor- packages can be found on the lobby floor or piled up in the package room (if successfully delivered). There is almost never a daytime staff member at the front desk, and so you don't usually have a point person to reach out to for help (the night team are primarily there for security so they direct your inquiries to day team). The phone number you can call for support routes you to a call center with long wait times and they have never been useful- you end up getting emailed by a relevant party later and have to explain yourself again. Of course your response email does not go directly back to that individual, but to a generic email pool and eventually someone gets back to you again. I can't think of another luxury apartment in philly at this price point that does not have a front desk person around the clock to help you with anything. There is ongoing construction of the ground floor for what seems to be a year. Parking lot is cramped but usable (at $300). Rooms are decent with nice windows (primarily if higher up and south facing) and good appliances. There is no Gym. They are apparently planning on converting what's currently a bicycle storage closet into a "gym" but none of this has happened yet. You get charged an amenity fee so they advertise a lower rent price. I think most of all they've really hurt the experience by trying to go virtual with their staffing. I don't think I will be renewing.

If it was just for the actual apartment, I might have given it 4 stars. The apartment is new and the amenities are amazing. The actual construction is only okay - doors are not totally aligned, plumbing and water pressure is weak. Unfortunately, the horrible staff (in particular the morning people) and package system really ruins the building for me. When I toured, I was informed that there would be 24/7 security/front staff, but there is never anyone there in the morning. Clearly, the morning people aren't doing their job. Now, this wouldn't have mattered too much (honestly a plus since they are extremely hostile when I speak with them), expect because of this, there has been a lot of trouble with getting packages and delivery since no is there to open the door for the delivery people. I have had several packages lost or stolen and Mily on Green staff has been extremely unhelpful and uncaring about this. The poor management is a huge shame because otherwise I would have planned on renewing next year
