For us, San Antonio met us with the "go back to wherever you came from" attitude, and the staff treated us with the exact same attitude. You will be overbilled at end of lease with fictitious charges and management will be unwilling to speak to you because you no longer are a resident. Not a very good place to live

The views are amazing, especially on the 3rd floor of building 14. The pool and BBQ area with volleyball are the perfect places for gatherings. The qym is great, and you get fire works every week because Six Flags is across the street. You can walk to the Shops At La Cantera in four minutes. Tennis and basketball courts. You will love it here. I've had zero maintenance issues and no mail issues. The Rim is minutes away, too, and that means music at The Rustic is only minutes away.
Management is rude, and the office staff is deceitful... When I moved out, I cleaned my Apartment to move in standards and they still charged me $600.. I basically payed as if I trashed the place... I advise you to just take what you need w/ you when you move out and leave the trash... They’re going to charge you anyway... I rate them well below a 0... The gate is never fixed causing criminal to break in vehicles all throughout the complex... Spend your hard earn cash somewhere else... These guys are a total rip off!!!

I lived in this apartment two years. The management is fine until you move out. When I moved out I hired a company to clean everything; hoping to get my deposit back. They first billed me $1300 for damage cost. we fought back because it was non sense and everything we left was absolutely fine. then they decreased the amount to $800. Again we pushed back. they decreased the amount to $450. they were trying to charge us for the stove which they claimed its glass top was burnt. we told them they can not charge us the price of a stove only because the glass top is damaged. finally, they billed us $50!!! Not everyone fight this much and imagine how many people end up getting ripped off by them. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
These apartments are fairly priced in a good location, but AVOID THEM AT ALL COST. They are a money-hungry corporation that cares very little about the residents. My boyfriend and I have been living here for about six months and, it’s been the WORST experience since. From simple requirements, such as applying, to our most complex, urgent issue, A ROACH INFESTATION; it’s been an uphill battle with MV Apartments. They have not worked with us in regards to any issue. I previously lived in a student housing apartment complex for TWO YEARS and never ran into the amount of problems that we have here. The most frustrating aspect in the roach infestation issue is that MV Apartments has attempted to blame my boyfriend and I for the entire problem. To start, that is extremely rude considering the fact that a pest control specialist supervisor, from Worldwide Pest Control, inspected the apartment and concluded that there was no sanitary issue (on our part). Second, MV Apartments has had pest control treat our apartment six different times, and soon after a pest control specialist visited / treated our apartment three different times. Nonetheless, the problem still persisted. If you like broken appliances, re-occuring mold, and a roach infestation, then this is the place for you. The management has not been much help either. My boyfriend and I spoke with MV’s apartment manager and not one issue was resolved. We went ahead and asked for the regional manager’s contact information, but MV’s apartment manager refused to give us that information. I have also sent numerous emails to their corporate email address found in the resident handbook, and I have not received a reply back (even though it states that they will reply within two business days). Lastly, I sent a certified letter to an address, for “Resident Relations” provided in the resident handbook, and still, not one issue has been resolved. This apartment complex is nothing but a fraud, and if you have the chance to spare yourself from them, then I would advise you to do so.
We got approved for an apartment here, signed a lease, and had a scheduled move in date. We had movers set up, cable, internet, the works.. even did a change of address.. A few days before our move in date, the apartment manager Sam called and said there was a “miscommunication.” They failed to tell us they approved an extended lease for the tenants that were currently in the unit. This was a big problem for us as we already made phone calls to have utilities set up and spent hours on the phone doing a change of address, etc. The leasing agents aren’t very helpful at resolving the issue and you’ll get the run around when trying to contact the manager Sam who was always out of the office. Then, when trying to request a refund of my app/admin fees, they didn’t want to give me my whole refund back. I had to fight for two months just to get my money back when it was their fault to begin with. This community sucks and is unprofessional.
In my opinion, this has been the poorest managed property I have ever lived in. There is NO accountability by ANY staff member across the board, but they will gladly take your money and do nothing else. If you want security from the gate and key fob you pay for, you won't get it since the gate is always broken or just open. Don't expect the extra fees you pay for valet trash to be worthwhile either, or for the covered parking you pay for to be more visible that it's a reserved spot. Although, you can gurantee that there's a non existent courtesy officer, the emergency maintenance mailbox is full, no community manager will ever call you back, but random nonsense construction will be done that won't improve anything. Also if I could give 0 stars or negative, I would a million times over.
The place is beautiful and great proximity to La Cantera and The Rim. The maintenance is much to be desired; office computer always run out off paper and ink; staffs are nice only on their good days but they seem to have a lots of bad days. You won't get a penny back of your deposit back because they give it back. You better get them to check the condition of the apartment before your move out. Because they charge for everything even if it is not your fault or doing or even you spent days in cleaning and it looked better than you first move in. They charge for everything even burned light bulb. There is no sense of community because they don't take in effort in coordinating any event or social gathering. This place need new management who care.
Extremely rude and unprofessional staff/management. Service request takes forever to fix and then they don't even fix the problem. Dog poop doesn't get picked up or your mandatory trash pickup it maybe gets picked up 2 nights out of 5 and that's on a good night , if it rains forget about it they won't pick it up. There are way better apartments than Mira Vista. If you still planning on signing up with them do yourself a favor and get a attorney to look over your contract, there are a lot of hidden information in there that both you and me won't notice unless notified. Basically they have the right to evicted you if you make a late payment after the 1ste of each month and there is nothing you can do about it if you signed the contract. Just be careful!!
To be quite honest, this place is spectacular. The wood flooring and crown molding make it look rustic yet comforting. The carpet is the shade of beige that truly compliments any color schemes you would want to go with. I love the easy access to la cantera mall right across the street, and the fact that as a family you are less than 5 minutes away from six flags fiesta Texas. Overall this place feels like a home and less of a apartment. I would recommend living here to my closest friends and family.
Management worked hard, and quickly to not only get us approved but with the best possible deal possible. Once in our apt, blown away by the luxurious amount of space, and modern detail. Lastly, located right next to 1604, I10, and Stone Oak, and right in front of the best shopping attraction of San Antonio, Texas.
While looking at apt.s online, this happened to be the first one I wanted to visit; but the vintage look of appliances and only having W/D hookups made me look elsewhere instead. Once I drove up, took one look on the side of their office building to see a portion of the golf course, and met the staff, I was sold. I didn't even make it past my apt. to check out the recreation area, etc. I left, crunched some numbers, and walked back in their doors, less than 10 minutes later. I am far from a morning person, but when you walk to your vehicle each morning and see the views this place offers, it really is breathtaking. I don't usually do these, but I am beyond impressed & pleased with this place.
