Located in northern Central Texas, Fort Worth is often coupled with neighboring Dallas. But Fort Worth has a unique character all of its own. Equal parts Wild West and modern sophistication, Fort Worth is known as the City of Cowboys and Culture. In Fort Worth, you can just as easily visit a championship rodeo as you can a world-class museum.
There is no shortage of world-class museums in Fort Worth. You have your choice of exploring the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and many more. Head over to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District to step into the Old West and learn the history of the livestock industry in Texas. Every Friday and Saturday, you can witness the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum.

Property Ratings at Mirador
Do not live here. My husband, daughter, and I only lived here for almost 5 months and had so many issues that we moved out much earlier than planned. I could write about many instances, but the most important one that sealed it for us was when the ceiling in our daughter’s room started sagging/caving in right above her crib. It went all the way across one side of the room. She was 7 months old at the time. My husband brought this to the attention of management since it was of course a big safety concern and it took 1.5 weeks for them to even begin work on fixing it and about 4 days to complete the job from start to finish. That was 2 weeks that our baby had to sleep in our bedroom which disrupted her sleep, 2 weeks that we had the entire nursery crammed into our dining room, and 2 weeks that we were paying for a 2 bedroom apartment and only had use of about half of the apartment. We understand that these things happen and we would have been more understanding if management had communicated with us about updates of what was being done/what was happening. However, communication is Mirador’s worst trait. My husband had to either call or physically walk in to the office daily to follow up on the status of the issue and basically nudge them to do anything at all. They would tell him that work would start the following day then no one would show up. One week after we first alerted management of the issue no one other than maintenance and some contractors had come by our apartment to look at the ceiling. No one from management. Which really just made us feel like they didn’t care for our safety. In the time it took for work to begin on repairs, we hired a realtor, toured 10 houses, and made an offer on the house we live in now. That is a bit ridiculous. Do not to be drawn in by the exterior and the fancy leasing office.

Hello, we are sorry to see that this review is that of only a 1-Star. Our management team strives to provide a welcoming atmosphere with pleasing amenities. Please contact the leasing office if you would like to discuss any concerns. Thank you! Mirador Management Team
These are very poorly built apartments where the basics for safe living are not in place. So many maintenance issues I could write a novel. They close service requests simply after someone tries "something" that doesn't fix the problem. My air conditioner is set at 76 degrees and it is 78 and 79 degrees without any major appliances or lights on. This has been going on for about 2 months now, they have added coolant, but it is not helping, nevertheless, they closed the service request. I have lived in many apartments all over TX, CO, AK, NH, Europe and have never experienced such incompetence and bad management. Do not be fooled by the outside appearance of Mirador apartments - you rent here at your own risk. I do not wish these apartments on my worst enemy.
This community is completely upgraded, but with a lower price than anywhere we looked nearby. The dog park and wash area is awesome (a little poop, but that's not management's fault). The best part is the events from the Apartment Lifestyle team. They welcomed us with a gift bag, checked on us to make sure everything was still going well...it was awesome! They host great events (virtual or grab-n-go most recently) and really care for us. Manager is nice but not really someone I've ever talked to. Maintenance is super quick and nice. Leasing staff has changed since I moved in, but everyone seems helpful, especially Lindsay. The grill zone, pool area, gym, etc are sometimes full but only because they're amazing! We've not had issues with parking or noise, but that may because we're in the back of the community. Overall, a gem!

Hello! Thank you for sharing, we are so happy that you are enjoying Mirador!
I moved into this complex a year ago when it was under a different company and the property was well maintained and nice. About 4 months into living there the property was sold and that's when things started going downhill and fast. My neighbor upstairs began throwing his cigarette butts and trash over the patio which landed in front of my 1st floor balcony and had reported it to the leasing office on several occasions and it was apparent they knew about this issue and nothing stopped but got worse. The upstairs neighbor began stomping, throwing things against the walls, and playing his t.v. so loud I could hear the show word for word and this was going on in the early morning hours (12am to 6am). Again told the leasing office and it did not stop. About a month after the property was sold I could tell that the property was changing. The access gates were always broken and still are to this day, persons who had dogs were allowing them to use the restroom wherever they saw fit and not clean it up. My balcony became a dog portal potty and it became where I could not enjoy my outdoor space because of the guy and his cigarettes and the dogs. Then the worst thing happened, the upstairs neighbor sat his apt on fire when he fell asleep smoking. I was home when it happened and called 911 and we got video of the fire and it was sent to the leasing office. To my surprise the leasing office thought that he did it was funny. I knew at that time I needed to leave. I turned in my notice, but the property has people hanging out and walking around the property at all times of the night and they don't live there. I have even come home from work late and seen 2 guys sitting by my apt door and then jump over my patio. The police were called but they were already gone. Trash is all over the place and several people have moved out. Such a shame because the apartments are really nice and a nice layout, but for what they are charging now you can get a house and have better peace of mind. BEWARE..LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!

Do you like loud neighbors? Neighbors who smoke pot? Neighbors who let their dog urinate on the balcony and then let it rain down on to your porch?Maintenance issues that go unresolved for months? Black mold growing on the ouside of the building? Property management that doesn’t do anything about any of this? Then move to Mirador!! I lived here for almost two years, and over the last 6 months, all these issues began to arrise. And after notifying the property managers countless times, nothing ever changed. Every neighbor we have known there has either moved out or is trying to break lease to get out. Sure, they’re renovating the place, but that still doesnt fix the issues I listed. Don’t waste your time here!!!

We are so sorry you had a negative experience with your neighbor at Mirador. We would love the opportunity to change your experience moving forward. Please contact the office at mirador@knightvest.com to discuss any unresolved issues.
We've been here for 2 years and it was okau before (we stayed because of the people & the great events), but the new staff have taken customer service to the next level and the updated common spaces, landscaping, & apartments are beautiful. We just resigned for another year in a fully updated unit and I'll add pictures when we move in!

Thank you so much for your honest review. Our goal is for all our residents to feel appreciated and love their home. Please continue to let us know how we are doing!
The Staff and manger don't care about your needs. The walls are very thin, constant noise from neighbors and management unable to handle it. I moved to this place Aug. 2016 on the first floor. The upstairs neighbors constantly stomp, child runs around daily. Had several complaints before the move and I found this out after I signed the lease. It's recorded in the books about their noise complaints but management said they can't do anything about it even though noise complaints is in TAA form. The director is very rude and doesn't care about your complaints and only wants your money. Not cool at all.
I have lived in this complex for over two years now and I am not at all impressed with the complex. I'll start with the few good aspects. First the internet here is good. The pool itself is nice, but a bit small in my opinion. The maintenance staff responds in a timely matter. My only issue with them is at when they leave a note saying that they were there they don't say if they completely fixed the issue or not. I would have to call the office to see if the work was actually completed. The negatives: The price you pay for the actual apartment is too high in my opinion. You can easily get a much larger apartment for around the same price in nearby areas. The walls themselves are very easy to scratch and mark up. The carpets in many units is in desperate need of replacing. I talked to one couple who has lived in the complex for over 8 years who asked to get their carpet replaced and were denied. The work out room is a joke. The machines are in desperate need of replacing with rust on the machines as well as no weight labels. Only very light dumbbells are available in the extremely small room. Multiple times I have seen people on the machines sweating with no shirts and speakers blasting music. There are no wipes to clean the machines. The laundry room here is very dirty and small. There are only three washers and 4 dryers in the room. You have to go at weird hours so you are able to utilize the low amount of machines. Ants crawl on the floor every time I have been in here. The social events here are very underwhelming. There is a monthly breakfast with pancakes ad cereal and toast which is nice. All of their other events besides their once a year pool party are a complete waste of resources. Parking here is extremely limited, especially in the back of the complex. If you don't have a reserved spot or garage then good luck at trying to find a spot near your actual apartment. The neighborhood here is more of an older crowd with a few families and few young couples. I have the privilege of one of my neighbors who smoke marijuana on an occasional basis. The smell seeps into my apartment making it smell awful. No one picks up dog dirt in the grass areas as well. This has pretty much created a mine field when you try to walk. The office workers as well as the manager are not friendly or helpful. The office hours are extremely short, especially in daylight savings when they close at 5:30pm. Good luck at picking up a delivered package. Overall, avoid this complex
These apartments are nice. In a nice area, no vandalism that I have heard of. The only issue I have is they don't let you know when you get packages. I had one in the office for 3 months and never knew. Other than that the staff is great, neighbors are nice. During the summer bugs started showing up and the office sent maintenance to spray and it has been good since.
I am very happy overall with the amenities, location is why I chose this place, plus they accept dogs.
