Property Ratings at Miraflores Apartments
I've lived in El Centro since 2015. I had to do my apartment shopping online from across the US and was trying to find decent apartments in the area. It was a tough look given the size of the town but when I saw Miraflores, I knew that would be my home. It's unfortunate I'm leaving due to work, this is by far the best apartment I've ever been in. The community is quiet, friendly and the staff is by far the best. No matter who you have in the office at any given time, if you need something they will bend over backwards to assist. It's unfortunate I spent most of my time away, the pool and grounds are amazing. The clubhouse is cozy, it's always nice to walk through there and relax. My biggest recommendation is, if you get an apartment here, meet your neighbors. The people here are awesome. When they have community gatherings for music, food and a good time, get out and mingle. This place really has made El Centro a comfortable and pleasant place to live and I highly recommend it. If moving to the area anytime in the next few months, take a look at the Orquidea model. Its open floor plan makes it look huge... and its very well lit! If you're a roomy bathroom fan, this is the place for you. A couple perks to the area: You're 5 mins from Imperial Valley Mall, Best Buy, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Bed Bath and Beyond, etc... You're also within walking distance to In and Out which will be sorely missed. Thank you Alejandra, Lisa, Robert, and previously Alexiss for making this an amazing stay! It stinks to have to leave. If I ever brave the El Centro workforce in the future, you'll more than likely hear from me.
I am quite pleased since I moved in in 09. I've worked in El Centro moved from San Diego and thought this was the best place to live! I love my nice apt and I'm so close to the pool and gym and I love it! I'm planning on living here for years to come. I really think the staff is great and the maintenance is always upgrading the property. They also do a drawing monthly and have a summer party!

This place is honestly the best property in all of the valley. I have lived in other places and they dont even compare to what Miraflores has to offer. I had a 3bedroom and I loved it! When they gave me the apartment it was really clean and smelled good. The space is open and spacious and theres plenty of storage space to keep all our stuff. The girls at the office are very nice and are always there for whenever I needed something. Maintenance always met his schedule when I asked for a maintenance repair and always kept the landscape and all the property clean.

..in complete agreement. Just called the office because I had concerns about the other comments and to my surprise to all the other places I called, no return calls. The office at Miraflores called me back close to immediately, I asked them and they said that it was important as part of their business to follow up with clients asap. I addressed my concerns on reviews and the Manager, Lisa was immediately on the phone to discuss all of my concerns. I was treated professionally and courteous. I guess if they wanted to offset the bad reviews, they could go here and make themselves look good but not the case. The manager explained that every opinion counts wether good or bad and its just another reason to get another potential renter plus to look good she said her numbers were proof enough to her and the mangement staff, "we are always leased out" but she agrees that it is not for everybody to like or able to afford. I agree and it has made me think differently. I will definitely rent here.
The apartments are extremely nice,modern. Tile,granite countertops, big bedrooms. It is gated but there is not a lot of parking available inside the complex other than your 1 assigned spot, other car spends a lot of time outside the complex. We live on the bottom, neighbors above us are extremely loud, can hear mostly everything, very frustrating and annoying considering the price you pay to live there. As for the pool it is big and looks nice when clean but is dirty half the time and is not heated so useless during spring and winter. If you have kids there is no playground.
moved out over a year ago left the place in good condition and I'm still in court trying to get my deposit back. Read the lease agreement before you sign it. you will never see your deposit again. Very bad management.
To think these days anyone can write bad reviews or comments without facts or sufficient foundation is preposterous. The best advice I can give to anyone trying to rent an apartment is to go tour and visit before an important decission such as renting a home is made. This is the best way you will get your answers to your questions. Bitterness is never the way to go. Miraflores is definitely not a party place for teenagers, it is alot more upscale than that. This was the main reason I decided to rent back in the day. Sometimes the price is an issue to some people but definitely decide if you are able to make such a commitment before you sign the dotted line. All the amenities are great and I would say that the staff is professional which is more that what I can say for alot of other properties.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures of a sparkling clean pool, Jacuzzi and a convenient recreation room. The pool is not heated and is always dirty. In spring and early summer when it is nice out, the pool will still be ice cold and unusable. Maintenance told us the Jacuzzi heater turns on around 5pm every evening. Unfortunately, it never fully heats up and sometimes never turns on at all. Not only is this disappointing, but a waist of electricity, money, and time. The Recreation room is only open Monday –Friday from 9-5 when the manager is there to watch over you and when everyone who would like to use it is at work. If a light goes out in your apartment you are not allowed to change it yourself and are required to call maintenance and pay a $10 fee per bulb. My first clue about how things run at Mira Flores should have been when they showed me a model instead of the apartment I was looking to rent. Of course, the model apartment is an extremely upscale version of the actual apartments for rent. I would say that Mira Flores is all about appearances and long story short, what you see is not what you get.
