Property Ratings at Miramar
These apartments have a terrible pest problem!!!!
I thought some of the reviews were being dramatic but they are all accurate. I moved into a DIRTY apartment and the office has hung on my when I asked when they would fix the broken items in my apartment. They have completely stop responding to my emails, and choose to ignore me but never did when it was about me moving in or paying the rent. Could atleast respond and say the email was received.
I just moved out of this complex and I am going to list ALL of the issues I had. these are the issues with the apartment: 1. Toilet does not flush. Since July 18, 2021 2. There is NO water pressure throughout the unit. Since July 12, 2021 3. The balcony door does not open. Since July 12, 2021 4. There is a massive leak in the AC unit. Since July 12, 2021 5. The stove/oven does not work. Since July 12, 2021 6. The flooring was not properly installed and is coming undone by the sliding glass door. Since July 12, 2021 7. The climate control of the unit is not efficient and thus loses cool air, either through poor insulation, bad windows and doors, or some other means by which I am unaware. Since July 12, 2021 8. My mailbox key does not work, and I was told the wrong mailbox for my unit. Since July 12, 2021 I reported these issues multiple times and they were never resolved. I moved in on July 12 and moved out on August 5.
I have lived here for three months now. The apartment was absolutely filthy when I moved in. Bugs dead and alive, dirt and grime everywhere. I submitted the maintenance form for everything that was wrong. No response to that. Office staff was incredibly rude to me and my husband during the application process, but we needed something quick. Bre was the only one who occasionally helped. The air conditioning sometimes works. I have put in several maintenance requests, the problem is never actually fixed. I have had a broken window for a week, and have submitted maintenance requests with the app and in the office. The office staff never answers the phone, and doesn't get back to you when you leave a message. Very disappointed, the website makes the apartments look great. Completely different when you get here.
The apartments are trashy and infested with black mold they paint over. The pipes leak my apartment has been severely water damaged. The maintenance is a joke. The manager is a joke. All they do is lie and defraud you out of your money. Rent is raised every year despite the fact they never come fix anything. They don’t offer half the amenities they say they have. No laundry facility, no gym, no dishwasher, and a pool that I’ve never seen anyone swimming in. Don’t waste your time or money. The neighborhood is ran down and trash is everywhere. It took almost a year before I ever received a mailbox key. I advise renting elsewhere because this is not a place you would want to call home
Does it look like the pictures as advertised when you get there the apartments are ran down people loitering all over the place then to hear somebody saying well right y'all were going to me because they keep shooting in front of my apartment that's scary that's not a place to raise children
I been here going on 3 months and within that time it been horrible. First the apartment wasn't ready when they had a month to get it ready. The cabinets was done and the fridge wasn't working. The air condition wasn't working either. The did come and replaced the fridge the next day but some of my food still went bad because of the heat. However, I had to wait a month and a half before they came to fix the air condition. I told them I have asthma plus I gave them my doctor's note telling them I have asthma and how they need to fix the problem ASAP. Did they care NO, I still had to wait 3 more weeks. During this time my toilet start acting up. It was stopped up, leaking and over flowing into.me tub. GROSS. They told us to us someone else bathroom, REALLY. This happen twice and we had to endure this over the weekend in which the suppose to be open on Sat and Sun. The emergency line is a joke. I'm dealing with gnats and some type of black bugs getting into my food. Pest control come once and he said nothing he can do about the gnats so the office doing nothing. Now my carpet swimming in water and my air out again. This is because they tried to fix the problem but made it worse. My husband went to the office but they close and lock the door in his face. Now they don't close until 5:30! However, they want their rent by the 3rd and after that they charge a $100 late fee plus $5 a day. It's not worth it!!!!!!!! I'm so sick and tried. STRESS and FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!! I had to give them a ?? but didn't want to.
Any one should know how to cut grass and take care of something ,,, unless you hate it here , or would never live here or you KNOW your better than the folks here ? DONT COME HERE wait he don't live here , he just cuts the grass , no wait , he just sits on his butt and tells people what to do and that he makes more money than them and will have me thrown out if he wanted to ! Wowwwww and that's the man running the crew ?? Also the owners brother who I can't seem to get a hold of no where ! .... home is what you make it and other than I've been a Forman and ran a few crews, I would never talk to a tenant that pays there bills the way him and his crew talked to me when I asked why they needed a commercial blower a foot from my car I just had painted ! Any professional running a landscape crew knows this ! To much power , toclose to the car .. but heyyy I'm just a tenant
Its been 5 months almost 6 months already , since the 1 month i have been asking for help to the staff that works there and nobody care they said: go and talk to this person and then i go then that person says to go someone else and keep on with at little game they have. The assistance manager the worst of all, always says im going to send someone first thing tomorrow morning and ever do. People do you think that is right? Having to wait for pest control for 2 1/2 months, roaches all over the apartment telling me,since week one that they are coming this Friday but didn't.(2) I can't even use the hot water no more i notified the assit manager and manager about the water is coming out rusty they told me to let the water run for an hour did for 2 hours, i thought it got better after a few days when i was bathing the water was like clogging up then all that brown rust got all on me; in my hair my face and other body parts it was nasty. I call, i went, i went to the other facility No one cares they wont help me and my family its cold and i have to still take cold bath with this cold weather; wild they all are taken HOT SHOWERS.
