Every city has an “it” neighborhood – fun, funky, close to everything – and for DC, that neighborhood is Logan Circle. Named for a historic traffic circle ringed with Victorian homes, Logan Circle is beautiful, trendy, pedestrian-friendly, and filled with terrific boutiques, restaurants, theaters, art galleries, and bars. Think second-hand stores and avant garde films, dive bars and elegant French restaurants. Being DC’s “it” neighborhood, Logan Circle apartments are in very high demand.
You’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and theaters along 14th Street. If you are out shopping and want to stop for lunch, Le Diplomate is rumored to have the best burgers around. In the evening, Sotto is the place to be. For tapas, head to Estadio. Catch a play at Studio Theatre, or take a walking tour of the area’s numerous art galleries. I must say the Asst Manager was very professional and well-mannered. During my tour of the building, he took the time to listen and answered all my questions. He was very knowledgeable of the property and surrounding area. I will be applying tonight.
The Miramar is in a great location at the heart of downtown DC. The building is about 100 years old, and it has a lot of character. The units have real hardwood floors, and mine had an adorable built-in bookshelf. It is one block from all the restaurants on 14th Street, one block from a Whole Foods, and close to the red, blue, and orange metro lines. For the price of the apartments, the amenities are very good as well: nice rooftop, decent gym, and back courtyard. The staff is very nice and super helpful, and the maintenance crew takes care of any needed repairs quickly. I lived at the Miramar for 7.5 years. I would have stayed even longer if I hadn't needed to move for personal reasons!

JoAnn and her team is super helpful and accommodating. Also the maintenance crew are a group of super hardworking and friendly guys who are a part of the community. The staff went above and beyond to keep residents safe during COVID, also. I’m sad to leave this building after my year here, and under different circumstances would have stayed. Finally, the location is the best aspect. I think the Miramar may actually have the best location in DC. There is literally nothing you cannot walk to from the Miramar’s front doors. Plus whole foods is across the street, as well as really popular bars Number 9 and Stony’s. There is also a Soulcycle, JINYA Ramen, all of 14th st and logan circle within a few minutes walk. If you’re moving to DC blindly like I did, the Miramar will be a great place to start.

I lived here from August 2019 to January 2021 in one of their studios. It's great location to grocery stores and transportation is a major selling point. Although it's not a luxury building, it does the job and noise was never an issue for me here. I also appreciated the staff and how they'd make every effort to work with their residents. Maintenance tickets were handled very quickly.

I recently moved after living at Miramar for almost two years. It is a wonderful building located on a central, but fairly quiet street downtown. The building itself is very beautiful and well-kept; common spaces are clean and maintained, and my apartment had lovely hardwood parquet floors, was very bright - lots of windows, and spacious. The main office staff and maintenance team are so helpful and quick to respond to any service requests. I loved living here and highly recommend it!

I lived in the Miramar for over two years until I recently moved from DC. I have nothing but positive things to say about the building and the staff. Any time I had a request, I got a response very quickly and any issues were resolved almost immediately. JoAnn and Lazo and the rest of the team are all great. Amazing place to live!! Would have stayed forever if I wasn’t transferred :)

For the price and the amazing location, you can't get any better! You can tell that management and maintenance really cares about their building and its tenants. For example, my garbage disposal broke, and someone came to fix it within the hour! That would've never happened at any other apartment building I was in. TL;DR If you're looking for an affordable spot downtown, this is it!

Probably one of the least expensive places in the Logan/Dupont area. Clean. Maintenance is responsive. Nothing extravagant. They come around and treat for roaches once or twice a year, but I haven't seen a bug in my unit in over two years. The real features are the cheap price and the location. Lots of good restaurants and bars on P Street and 14th. Also decent coffee options. Whole Foods and 24-hour CVS are only one block away. 10 minute walk to McPherson, Dupont or U Street metro. 20 minute walk to the White House. Washer/Dryer situation is card-operated ($1.75 per wash or dry) -- you need to pre-load the card with cash. Electric bill probably averages $30 per month. Gas is maybe $10 depending on how much you cook. No charge for water. There are parking structures within a block if you have a car. Good option for a young employed person who doesn't want roommates.
The Miramar is a well-maintained rent-controlled building in the popular Logan Circle neighborhood. Mostly studios, and some 1-bedrooms, the units have compact kitchens, hardwood floors, and large closets. It's an older building, so there's radiator heating and window A/C units which are adequate. I've lived in two units here; a studio and 1-bedroom. The studio was on the small side, but it had a sleeping alcove and a good layout. The 1-bedroom is fairly spacious for the area. There's no pool, but there are some amenities worth mentioning: A medium sized gym with some cardio equipment, laundry on the first floor, large courtyard in the center lots of trees, grills and tables, and a roof deck with chairs and tables. The units facing the center courtyard are notably quiet given the city location. Overall, I recommend the Miramar for those who want to save on rent without sacrificing on location!
