Property Ratings at Mission at La Villita
The location of this place is phenomenal (close to everything- shops, highways, etc.), however, that's about the only positive this place still has. I've been a resident (along with my boyfriend) for five years now. When it was run by Riverstone Residential from the time we moved in until the time it was bought, they did a great job. Maintenance was quick to respond to calls, the landscaping was nicely maintained, and the leasing office was very attentive and caring. Fast forward to when Gaines bought the complex in 2014-- now it's crap. The leasing office never seems to know what they're talking about, my neighbors are rude and loud, and there was (and sometimes still is) a massive problem with the trash. Valet trash isn't picked up when it's supposed to be and they rarely empty the trash compactor, so you often walk/drive by the compactor with PILES of trash bags...and the smell is nasty. We're looking forward to getting out of our lease soon!
Beautiful curb side appeal I have lived her for about 3 months and by far the best place I have ever lived. Haven't had one problem and just love it.
Recently moved to Irving and luckily picked Mission At Lavilita. It's very nice apartment ,great location and office staffs specially Jennifer and Brenda are awesome. Very friendly and always ready to help. Maintenance request done very quickly, i would recommend this property.
Thank you for organizing the Safety Awareness Meeting this evening with our awesome Courtesy Patrol Officer. We love Jada in the office!!! She knows everyone by name and is always most helpful! Maintenance has been wonderful and responds quickly. I order alot online and am in the office weekly. Last week I have 2 heavy boxes and the assistant manager insisted on carrying the heavy boxes out for me and this was at 6:00 when I knew everyone wanted to go home. That is nice customer service. I have 2 dogs so the little yard in front of my apartment is wonderful. The lake is wonderful to walk around with the dogs or for us if we are working out. The area is nice and quiet but close to shopping and airports. I have had a great year here. Love it! We have loved our stay here so much that we just renewed for another year. I came from an Uptown Highrise so had high expectations. My renewal went flawlessly. I received a great rate and the office staff was wonderful to work with. I made some changes in my lease and had numerous questions, the staff was always patient and professional to work with. My parents are looking to move here from Oklahoma to be closer to family. We are looking for one of the wonderful first floor apartments with a yard for their dog. Coming from Uptown this is such a nice place for pets. Quiet and little traffic. The lake is great to walk around or we just go hit Campion trail which is just a short walk from here. The homes and neighborhood are beautiful in the La Villita neighborhood. This location is easy access to both airports. 15-20 minutes to DFW and Love Field. We have easy access to the major highways: George Bush, 635, 114, 35 which makes getting to Grapevine/Southlake, Uptown, Addison, Lewisville a breeze. We are close to the DART station as well. I love the onsite car wash which I see the residents using daily. The grounds are maintained and kept up well. Last week I noticed the lights were out on the outside of our parking garage. I was going to place a maintenance request to have them replace the next day but forgot. I noticed the next night that the lights had already been replaced. I love the fitness area and get plenty of use out of it. The yoga room is great for my P90X and they have all of the mats and equipment in that room. Such a nice property and area!
The team in the office and the folks that take care of the grounds are the VERY BEST at what they do.They greatly enhance the quality of living here. The apartments and curb appeal is second to none. The car wash is so convenient to have on property. If you want to live in a community that you will be proud to call Home,if you want to be respected every time you make contact with the team in the office and if you enjoy nature( the lake is stunning) then Mission @ LaVallita is the place to call home!
We stopped by the Mission at La Villita to look at their current apartments. While we aren't ready yet to lease, we were very impressed with the friendliness of the leasing center staff. Jenn took time to show us the great amenities and beautiful apartments. We can definitely see ourselves living in this gorgeous community in the near future!

Seriously, I'd give this place zero stars if that was an option. Was an ok place to live under the previous management, but Gaines bought them out and everything went WAY DOWNHILL. My air conditioner was out for almost 3 weeks in August, which in Texas is really ridiculous. I had to call at least 5 times to get it fixed, they just kept putting it off. Roof leaked and they kicked me out over the weekend to reglaze the tub whenI had less than I month left on my lease--guess they preferred I had to pay for a hotel versus them having to wait to release the apartment after moving out. Had several other maintenance issues. The will lie to keep your deposit (more aggressively than other places I've lived). I wouldn't live at any of their properties.
The old management used to be really bad but I haven't had any problems with the leasing office people lately. Now the staffs are friendlier and doesn't take a long time to respond back to your calls. This apartment is in a nice area in Las Colinas and my roommate and I love the lake that's in the center of the apartment complex. Unfortunately, we're thinking of moving once our lease is over because we want to move to a different/nicer apartment.
I have lived here 10 months and considering renewing. The location is great for me b/c you can jump on any highway and be anywhere in dfw w/o too much pain. 635, George Bush, I35, all the arteries like Royal Lane and Luna. was helpful for me working downtown and family in plano, 30 min from anywhere. I'm single with no kids, and liked the fact there are a lot of families. it fells safe, and everyone I've met has been nice. opposed to inconsiderate youth who don't work for their rent, blast bass in their cars and apt. all day & night. ugh. Anyways, my decision to move here came down price. they really made me feel like I was getting a deal. & as a salesman, I need that, they discounted my rent by $200 a month and no charge for a carport. also another plus, plenty of parking at all times. in addition to always being clean complex, esteadicly it looks newer than being built in 2005, which is nice. there are a lot of newer apartments in this area, and they do a great job being creative to compete. $PRICE MATTERS, and this place gives you bang for your buck, considering surrounding options. if your a logical reasonable consumer, and must rent, this can be a great option. also the management company is great! I didn't have great credit, nor does anybody renting, but they really worked with me, and truly appreciate that. good luck on your search. make this a stop when shopping Las Colinas.
This is the perfect location to and from work . Very close to all the stores and Dfw airport . Very nice atmosphere and everyone is very friendly .
I love these apartments great location for all needs. Near parks, lakes, and highways. The apartment itself is perfect and at an affordable price, can't complain.
