A former air force base, Lowry Field is now a mixed-use community with tons of available rentals, trendy restaurants, cool boutiques as well as public and private schools.
Its airiness is something to appreciate – and we don’t just mean its open green space. Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum highlights the heritage and future innovations of the aerospace industry. What’s also cool is that the museum is made up of two reclaimed hangars from Lowry Air Force Base.
After work, locals look forward to happy hour specials at Lowry’s Beer Garde, or grabbing a late-night dinner at North County’s restaurant on Rampart Way. Both establishments are in walking distance of Jackie Robinson Field Park and Great Lawn Park.
Lowry Town Center provides locals with an urban shopping experience. Students attending Community College of Aurora enjoy a short commute to campus. Denver attractions puts locals’ minds at ease – after all, they’re only eight miles away.

Property Ratings at Mission Grand
The property is not clean and has many problems. The worst part is that the management, despite recent change in management, does not resolve major maintenance. for example, many units in the building have been without central heating for over a month and the management team/maintenance has not done anything to address the issue. On top of that, the service requests are ignored for big or small things. DO NOT RENT HERE.
They still owe us over 800 dollars, but of course the managers keep quitting and corporate is impossible to reach. The ac and heat didn’t work for months, our dishwasher didn’t work for months, cigarette and marijuana smoke came into our apartment through the vents and windows despite it being a non-smoking community and they obviously did nothing to prevent it, the ceiling leaks in multiple spots on our furniture and they never fix it, then tell us it’s our fault for not reminding them. The cleaning staff does their best, but it gets disgusting over the weekend when they aren’t working. The one working elevator gets disgusting. Service requests get cancelled without telling us and without actually fixing anything. Some random loud grinding noise that would wake us up every couple hours from something over our ceiling that they never fixed while we were there. The dog area is always filled with dog poop and they are always running out of bags even though it seems like no one cleans up after their dogs anyway. The parking garage doors are always broken and people’s cars get broken into. The dumpsters are always overflowing. And so on… This place is a nightmare, stay away.
Amazing Staff. Very helpful and understanding. Beautiful Building.
All around sweet experience. I can’t move until August but Grand Lowry Lofts will be my new home.
This is my second time renting at Grand Lowry Lofts (I did a lot of deployments in between). I came back because I had a great experience the first time and I've got zero regrets now. The office staff have always been friendly and accommodating, and really came through during the COVID-19 quarantine situation. They've been patient and helpful and always kept me informed. The location is perfect for me and I really appreciate that it's a more mellow neighborhood. The grounds always look great and the building is well maintained. I've been here over 18 months this time and only submitted my first service request today: the lock on my mailbox broke. The maintenance staff always takes time to say hi and so do all of my neighbors. The laundry facilities are always clean and I've never had to wait for machines. Xfinity even stepped up and improved the internet service to the building recently. Maybe I'm biased because the building was the Eisenhower Barracks back in the days when Lowry was a military base, but I plan on sticking around for awhile. And if I do get deployed again, I'll rent at Grand Lowry when I get back from that. Also there's an airplane and a rocket ship parked a block over and an X-wing inside the museum. AN X-WING.
I love it here. I love the military-style building, my super high ceilings, the close access to parks and bike trails, both courtyards, barbecue area, and ample parking pretty much all of it. I give it 3 stars because the staff is super short-handed from the office to the maintenance and some residence don't take responsibility for their own cleanliness. This is a Rose Community-managed building and I don't think the corporate office supports the management staff the way they need.
I love this community!!! They have a pool and gym. The area is amazing its located in Lowry town center. The staff is very helpful and has gone above and beyond for me. I would highly recommend these apartments. The bad reviews are not true.
My apartment is 625 square feet of joy with high ceilings, exposed brick and heating and A/C vents giving you the feeling that you've entered a beautiful urban loft that you might find in any downtown area but my apartment is located in Lowry , CO and was once an air force barracks and headquarters to General Dwight D. Eisenhower during both war and peace times alike. The building is located in one of the safest areas in Denver and is surrounded by multimillion dollar homes and beautiful grounds boasting 100 year old trees and manicured lawns and annually planted foliage not forgetting the beautiful rose garden that lines the portico entrance. Living here for more than five years leaves me with a daily grratitude to call Grand Lowry Lifts my home.
