Eastside is one of Riverside’s oldest and largest neighborhoods. This historic neighborhood boasts a central location and a great option for renters seeking lower cost rentals while still wanting to live near plenty of amenities. Eastside has a variety of affordable and upscale rental options from Mediterranean single-family houses to modern apartments. Eastside is only a mile from Downtown Riverside, Riverside City College, and the University of California Riverside. Along with several parks, Eastside has several restaurants and shops located along University Avenue while even more options aren’t far from the neighborhood like Riverside Plazas. Similar to many SoCal locals, Eastside residents enjoy spending time outdoors. Conveniently Eastside is near several popular hiking destinations like Mount Rubidoux Park which has excellent views of the city. If you’re looking for a more affordable neighborhood in the San Bernardino Valley, Eastside is ideal.

Property Ratings at Mission Lofts
I’ve lived at the lofts for over 2 years now and I have literally no complaints. The management staff and the maintenance staff are always available (some of em even after hours) and they’re quick to address any issue you might have. Highly recommend.
The Mission Loft Apartments are a great place to live for the modern citizen. Located right by the metro train and Amtrak lines it works great for commuter work or even for travel pleasures. Everything is upkept well and ground are clean.
Nice lofts. Attention to detail taken. I feel very safe here. Pet friendly community. Knowledgeable staff.
I absolutely love living here!!! This apartment complex feels so safe to me and that was the important thing for me when finding a place to call home. Everyone in the office so so personable and friendly! I know if something comes up, I will have the support I need. Im so, so thankful to live here!
My husband and I have been living in this apartment community for 8 months and it has been a great experience! The apartment complex is very clean and staff are very friendly. When I had to submit a maintenance request, it was answered and fixed in a timely manner. I also like that pets are welcomed!!

Good Afternoon, Thank-you for selecting Mission Lofts as you home. We appreciate your taking the time to write a review for Mission Lofts. We strive to provide the very best in customer service and appreciate your being a party of the Mission Lofts family! Thank-you, Sherrie Mares
6.5/10. Probably if there were no vehicle break-ins, I would rate it a solid 9/10. It's a great complex, very modern, but the security seems lacking. I think the price is pretty reasonable considering its location and amenities. Overall my first month, the living experience is okay. I wish the management would do something about the car break-ins or at least make some sort of attempt to better the situation.
My favorite thing about living at mission lofts is the location. Its right next to the free way and its walking distance from downtown riverside where there is plenty of entertainment to be had. The property design is very attractive and the apartments are beautiful. Management is excellent and communicative and the amenities here are great. The downsides are a lack of security presence which leads to transients often wandering the property and checking vehicle door handles. Delivery drivers also tend to cut corners on deliveries and dont utilize the parcel locker area which makes deliveries much safer. Instead theyll often just leave the package in front of your door completely exposed and prone to theft by local transients which had happened to me more than once. Parking for guests is also very difficult as there is very little guest parking and residents now have the option to pay extra for additional spaces, making the already scarce guest parking spaces even more scarce. This also leads to a lot of illegal parking (handicap, EV parking, red zone parking etc.) I also think the apartments here are a little overpriced and wish there were more price reducing incentives for veteran residents. Overall I am happy to live here and would recommend it to others who can afford it.
The bad: You do not have your own hot water heater but you get a gas bill from the complex based on your use. I haven't gotten my first one yet so I'm interested to see how this works. You have to let the water run before it gets hot so if you are into water conservation do not rent here. I got a parking spot in the "gated parking" area...located one street over. But you can walk to your apartment using the overpass you see in the online photos. Don't ignore those train cars/tracks you see in the photos. The noise doesn't bother me but if you are a light sleeper beware. The lot to apartments is not gated so anyone can and will walk through. I as leaving for work one morning and saw a body rolled up in a blanket and bottles and clothing next to my car! The body was alive and asked to move by one of the workers. Haven't seen another one since but on two other occasions had to deal with drifters. Pros: I got an apartment in the location I wanted and it was fairly new. The leasing process was quick and easy but the lease was the longest one I've ever signed. Summary: You could do better or worse
I recommend Mission Lofts because everyone here seems extremely friendly, helpful, and supportive. The staff is very professional and approachable, and the apartment complex is very new and clean.
Mission lofts is a great place to live with a awesome management team who really cares about their residents, they are kind and professional. I just wished this property was in a different location because the crime in this area isnt safe. This community needs to be gated and we need a better security team. Other then that.. I love the fact that this community is pet friendly with no weight restrictions.
The Mission Lofts should be a pride of Riverside living with the variety of creative floorplans and thoughtful scenic views.

Good Afternoon, Thank-you for such a great review of Mission Lofts! We take pride in providing the very best customer service and a great place to call home. We love Riverside and being a part of the Downtown Riverside community. Thank-you, Sherrie Mares
My experience thus far at Mission Lofts has been wonderful. The staff was excellent during the whole application process especially Luis. Since moving in the staff has been helpful and very accommodating when necessary. I love how quiet our complex is and how neighborly my neighbors have been when we do run across each other. I must say not being able to utilize all the amenities since moving here due to COVID-19...sucks but it is what it is. Hopefully, we'll be able to reap ALL the benefits that comes with renting here.
Great place to live! The office staff is AMAZING!
Great place to stay if you don't mind living by a train track and can hear it running all the time
Between the a) lack of soundproof living b) hostile neighbors and c) management who simply ignores complaints, this apartment leaves a lot to be desired. In addition, the management constantly change their minds, telling a tenant one thing and then telling lower management to enforce the opposite. It is incredibly frustrating.
I'm new to the Riverside area and these apartments are amazing! They have wonderful specials, great amenities and friendly leasing staff.
I recently moved into the Mission Lofts and I can't thank the office staff enough for being so courteous. They made the entire process so easy and stress free. I highly recommend the Mission Lofts to anyone that is looking for a great place to live.
Experience here at Mission Lofts have been great, glad I made the choice to live in this community.
Choosing to live in Mission Lofts was the best decision I have made when searching for apartments in Riverside. I love how downtown Riverside is walking distance away. If you are a student like I am, UCR is just one bus ride straight to the campus which is super convenient! The complex is well maintained and the community management team is swift to attend to any concerns or needs. Overall, the complex is clean, organized, safe, and convenient.
