A large subdivision with mountain views and a golf course, Los Serranos provides a beautiful location in Chino Hills. Bordered by the Chino Valley Freeway on its east side, commuting from the neighborhood is easy. While it is primarily residential, there's ample shopping in the northwest corner of the neighborhood, near the intersection of Pipeline Avenue and Chino Hills Parkway. Here, you'll find restaurants, banks, grocery stores, specialty shops, and other businesses.
The Los Serranos Country Club covers much of the neighborhood, offering two 18-hole golf courses, a large lake, a clubhouse, and a driving range. For those who prefer hiking to golfing, the Chino Hills State Park is directly south of the neighborhood and provides ample hiking, equestrian, and mountain biking trails. The park covers 14,102 acres and includes an outdoor amphitheater, campgrounds, picnic areas, and an exhibit hall.

Property Ratings at Missions at Chino Hills
Missions Chino Hills seemed promising, but we soon realized it was below expectations. The hallways are dark and the concrete is stained with years of buildup. I thought at some point during our lease it would be pressure washed but I was wrong. The trash situation was extremely inconvenient. Depending on the location of your apartment, you could walk a quarter of a mile to the nearest trash bin, which is always full. Parking was a nightmare. If you got home after a certain time, all the spots would be taken, your only option would be to park in the emergency lane or in spaces not specified for parking. This was a daily thing since every morning you would wake up with cars scattered throughout the property. Don’t expect your deposit back at all. Even with a deep cleaning and patching up all the holes from photos and tv, they take the whole deposit to account for that. Pretty much knowing they’re going to use it all from the beginning. Leaving this place felt like a relief. The cost they charge for rent is for a higher quality living does not meet what is actually reality.
Our family enjoys the beautiful pool, jacuzzi and cabanas. We also appreciate and are thankful for Angie who is part of the maintenance staff. She is always so efficient and does a great job.

Missions at Chino Hills is an excellent place to live. Great personnel, good facilities and upkeep, and good location.
The best floor plans Ive ever seen, great use of space, beautiful grounds and amazing office and maintenance staff.
Overall The Missions gets a D from me. The parking situation is atrocious, apt should come with assigned covered parking included for the price paid. The road noise is awfull hard all over the complex. The garbage should NEVER be allowed to pile up like it does .
Well maintained community with a good apartment floor plans. The entire staff is very helpful and accommodating.
It's a nice community, but we can't use the facilities due to covid, price are on the high end for apartment living. And they didn't make enough assign parking near the apt.
Missions at Chino Hills is a tranquil location to live, with excellent maintenance and upkeep and a professional, helpful, courteous staff.

I feel I am at my own home very safe nice neighbors beautiful area very good and lovely staff and experience maintenance people not far from anything.
Safe neighborhood, great for families, star management and maintenance gardening. It's like living in a resort and waking up in a beautiful location everyday!
Good place to be. The design of the buildings are better then most places and optimize privacy and noise reduction. Pool and Jacuzzi are nice and well kept, although the temperature of the jacuzzi should be a bit higher in my opinion. Management is nice and responsive. Communication is professional and oriented toward problem solving. Maintenance requests are responded to quickly and well.
A really nice place to live. Overall pleased with everything
Worth every penny. Finally a place where the price matches the quality and everything available to you.
Grate experience overall
The Missions at Chino Hills is a great community and as a first time renter, I am loving it. The amenities are great and community is wholesome and quiet even on the weekends. The city of Chino Hills has a lot of events such as concerts in the part during the summer. The Missions is walking distance to the park!
Love the apartment layout, it is very open. The amenities are those of a luxury resort with a new 24-hour gym, nice cabana areas near pool, dog park, separate park area, game room
It is a very nice community to live in including use of amenities; the looks of the place, classy..just like staying in a nice big hotel for a longer period of time; nice place to just stroll around.
Peaceful place, friendly and responsive staff. Safe place to live with family.
We have enjoyed living here the last few years. Kids have enjoyed the pool and playground. Management and maintenance staff have been wonderful to work with and problems have been solved in a timely and professional manner. Common areas are nice and clean. Nice place to live!
Missions at Chino Hills has been an excellent experience for me. The place is kept clean. There is not too much noise. The apartments are relatively well insulated, and the design of the apartment buildings helps maximize the space you get. Management has been great, nice, and professional. Management and maintenance staff respond to maintenance calls quickly and professionally. The place is kept clean. The apartments, or at least ours, included a washer and dryer, as well as a microwave that is costume fit to maximize space in the apartment, which is nice. It also has crown molding which I did not think mattered much at purchase, but am liking more with time because it makes me feel like I live in less of a box. Pool and jacuzzi are nice, clean, and not too crowded.
Our experience has been great here at chino hills missions, very quiet and relaxing environment. Parking can get hard but over all its great. I have loved the staff as they Been very helpful. Nancy and Beverly have been amazing.
Great Neighborhood and Friendly Staff
Missions apartments is a nice friendly, well maintenance for interior/exterior and security gard for safe living.
This apartment complex is in a quite location with alot of nearby parks. The complex consists with a pool, gym, theater room, playground, and putting green. Everything things good about this apartment except for the location in order to exit the location you must go down a street and make a u turn. Sounds easy however gets annoying when you have to do it everyday.
I've lived at the Mission Apartments in Chino Hills for 5 years. The aparments themselves are very nice - but with a price to match. The maintenance staff is great. Management is nice enough. The problem is when it's time to leave - they gouge you. My $1,700 per month rent skyrocketed to $2400 per month when I changed to a month to month contract. Really??? Why two stars if my stay with the Mission Apartments has been mostly good? After 5 years of living here, you'd think they'd offer a little consideration rather than rake me over the coals. You know what they say, the most important part of a story is how it ends.
Living in this apartment for the past 2 years has been great. We have had no issues whatsoever and would without a doubt, recommend our friends and family to live here. We are blessed and grateful everyday to be able to live here.
