Mizner Court

During my nearly three-year stay at Mizner Court, I found the community quite lovely. I never had a single complaint and on-time rent payment record. However, I did have some less-than-pleasant experiences with property management, particularly with Lincoln Management. I want to emphasize that I wasn't alone in encountering these issues; several other residents have also had similar concerns. Mizner Court does have some rather strict community policies, which can sometimes be a bit tricky to navigate. Additionally, how the office staff and overall management conducted themselves didn't always create a very tenant-friendly atmosphere. One incident that stands out to me was the substantial 65% rent increase I faced at the end of my 18-month lease renewal. When I asked for an explanation for such a significant hike, the response I received was simply, "This is the current new lease rate if you want to continue living in the community." This lack of transparency and the rather curt response left me feeling disheartened. For those looking to add roommates to their lease, dealing with the office staff could be quite a challenging process. I went through a situation where one staff member initiated what I can only describe as a very thorough investigation, even discouraging me from seeking potential roommates through social media groups, despite my willingness to comply with background checks and income verification. Unfortunately, the office staff demonstrated a noticeable lack of professionalism and courtesy, especially when situations didn't directly align with their interests. The interrogation happened by 4-5 staff members in the lobby area in the presence of potential/current residents which made me feel humiliated. This repeated rude behavior by the staff was a significant factor in my decision to leave the community. I think it's essential to share these experiences to help potential future residents understand the potential challenges they might face when dealing with the office and management at Mizner Court. I hope that this information can assist you in making informed decisions about your housing choices.

This community is extremely noisy being located at the corner of two main roads plus the nearby firehouse station. It’s definitely overpriced, as amenities are really basic for the area and price charged (don’t even have a basic business center and don’t bother cleaning the pools nor territory). The huge problem is if you rent a unit on a 1st floor: you gonna hear every step your neighbors make, literally every single step. Even worse problem is that the management team openly lies to you and falsificates pictures of your unit not to return the security deposit. It’s really easy to compose a pdf file with a picture of your unit number and then add a separate random picture of some corner of a carpet, and then claim that it’s your unit’s carpet with pet urine on it. Total shame!

I have been here since January 2020. The maintenance staff is truly dedicated and take their work seriously, making sure everything gets fixed. Nestor, particularly, stands out. He always approaches every job with a smile and is always ready to lend a hand if you need it. Francisco in the leasing office always ensures matters are addressed and is good about following up.

Rent is totally over priced here. Property is only maintained in areas where people will see it on tours. Looks elsewhere

The maintenance staff is exceptional, helpful, educated, and friendly. I've been living here for the past ten months and each time I have needed anything, as soon as I submit a request, Jhon knocks at my door in less than 20 minutes, he has also offered to help me when he sees me carrying groceries to my apartment. He goes above and beyond. El team de mantenimiento es excepcional, educado y súper amigable. He estado viviendo acá por aproximadamente 10 meses y cada vez que he solicitado mantenimiento en mi apartamento, Jhon M ha llegado al apartamento en menos de 20 minutos q solucionar el problema, no solo eso, sino que también me ha ayudado a cargar las bolsas del mercado o llevar cosas cuando me ve cargando cosas pesadas. Una vez se daño mi aire acondicionado, y el notó que mi lavamanos estaba tapado, Jhon no solo arreglo mi aire, sino que también se tomó el tiempo de destapar el lavamanos. Estoy muy agradecida

The maintenance team is amazing, the office staff is amazing, and I love the community and my apartment.

Overall Mizner Court is comfortable and nice. Some things that I think can be better include: Lack of play area for kids. Lack of an app to approve entry into apartment complex (voice based system feels a bit old).

The maintenance team here is phenomenal. Also, the courtesy of our neighbors and the staff is above average.

I would absolutely recommend Mizner. The team does their best to make this community home and clearly cares about residents being happy. While there were some timing issues with my recent visit, I appreciate that they kept me in the loop even when they couldn't necessarily change the outcome. Thank you!

The office is very attentive when you call about an issue. In my experience, everything has been handled in a very fast manner and the guys are super nice.

Deliveries of any type is horrible. Packages are constantly missing or delivered to the wrong address. Neighbors never bring your package over to you or to the front office.

The maintenance team is wonderful!!! the community just looks old and outdate and that is not related to the great service the maintenance provides

Maintenance is professional here, but the rental price is far above the value of the apartment.

We have the best head of maintenance in Carlos and we r do lucky to have him.

We have lived here for four years. The development is well located. It is pretty and kept clean. Service requests are often completed on the same day. Management tries to create events to bring neighbors together. I wish I had my view with a second bedroom and fresh flooring and paint.

The community is well maintained and I have been very happy here for over 3 yrs. The staff does an amazing job. Thank you!

Mizner Court is a great community. The management and maintenance personnel are always responsive and courteous.

Everyone living in the community is friendly and the leasing office is extremely efficient and always helped whenever I needed them to.

In general, there’s nothing too bad about this property. Would be an acceptable long-term solution, but there are few important factors that unfortunately destroy all the positive ones.. 1. amount of noise is completely unbearable, as property is located between two major roads. If your unit faces one of the roads, be ready for all day and night long traffic noise. Plus the entertainment of fire rescue sirens, as it’s located cross the street. 2. if your unit is on the 1st floor, make sure you’re fine with ceilings making crazy noise every time your upper floor neighbors make a step (not run nor jump, but simply walk). Many neighbors complained about the same topic, so just check if you (and your kids?) are fine with waking up based on your upper neighbors’ schedules. Earplugs unfortunately don’t really help.. 3. units are nice and specious, though appliances are quite old and some renovation is needed. 4. maintenance and management are nice and helpful, though naturally can’t do anything about points 1 and 2. 5. community is nice and walkable, lots of families with kids and dogs. Management does their best to maintain everything in order. 6. Recycling doesn’t work. At all.

I would because of the security and overall pleasantness of the neighbored hood with great amenities as well. Down side my apartment specifically has had nagging problems consistently for months and lastly the walls are excruciatingly thin

Needs updating. Not worth the amount of rent be charged

It is frustrating in any rental community to have to deal with specific rules that you typically would not in a single-family home. My advice to anybody who is renting an apartment is to prepare yourself to follow regulations you would not typically agree with. Unfortunately you cannot control who moves in and out so as you notice families in the community that you typically would not choose to live next to all you can do is mind your business and lock your doors.

Community is run down but the least expensive place in Boca

It' a nice quiet and friendly atmosphere with one exception dog poop not being kept properly.

Completed a service form when we moved in and not a single thing on the list has been fixed. Multiple Amazon packages have been stolen from us and we have only been here for a month. It seems to be an ongoing issue for many residents but nothing is done about it.

Our service team is the best in the industry. Carlos, Sandro and Nestor are amazing and do quality work and get it right the first time. They are clean and neat and always knock and announce themselves. They have a good manager too, Ronnie. Francisco and the team do a great job managing our property.
