Great place to live. Clean appartments and common areas. Management is friendly and attentive. Maintenance requests are taken care of right away. Amazing experience here so far.
Mostly good other than access issues with outside doors not working, storage unit not working, not enough parking for two cars (for a two bedroom), normal maintenance issues, etc. I will say they are often very good with helping to solve the issues that we do encounter, even if it takes a little bit.

I love the location, i just wish there was more amenities for the price. Also the parking is a joke for the price as well, you only get one parking spot, The guest parking is too expensive. I do think maintenance is pretty great and not to mention fast, and every staff member has been friendly so far. Just wish they would rethink the parking prices as they have also increased sinced i moved in which was during opening

Building and staff is really nice. Gym is small but it's okay if it is not crowded. What I don't like are the hidden fees and payments I need to make. Their portal is really confusing. Overall, I feel it's overpriced.

**DO NOT RENT ANYWHERE NEAR THE GYM IN THIS COMMUNITY (Unit 103)** I have lived at Modera Clarendon since May and am now in the process of terminating my lease as the unit we are in is completely unlivable due to relentless noise disturbances from the gym. The gym is a just a couple of apartments over from us and we endure constant LOUD thudding, banging, and pounding from dumbbells being dropped on the gym’s concrete floors which have literally NO soundproofing installed whatsoever. When I say we are constantly disturbed, I’m not exaggerating… we have been frequently awoken by the loud thuds as early as 4:30am and as late as 1am. And the noise is LOUD; I scoured the internet for the highest noise blocking earplugs I could find, purchased 40dB noise blocking ear plugs - they don’t even touch the noise we get in here. There is no enforcement of quiet hours by management at this property despite repeated requests and management has repeatedly failed to take any meaningful action to address the issue. For the past four months my entire household has struggled to get the bare minimum amount of sleep needed to function normally and it has caused a level of stress that had serious impacts on our daily lives. We were extremely disappointed with the lack of concern we were shown by the property management considering that the circumstances we’ve endured very likely violate Virginia tenant laws which guarantee the right to peaceful and quiet enjoyment of your home. If you are considering renting here and value your sleep and sanity, do NOT rent any apartment near the gym – these units are completely unlivable. Management will not help you, and you’ll be left dealing with the consequences.

Modera Clarendon is a very pleasant place to live. Maintenance and the leasing staff are always quick to respond to any questions or inquiries - my maintenance is typically resolved within the same day or next day I file an issue. For parking, they have many EV chargers on site. The proximity to Clarendon and Virginia square is great - we’re close without being too close. The washer and dryer are by far the best machines I’ve had in an apartment. I never hear my neighbors through the walls, although the windows aren’t the thickest when it comes to blocking outside noise (this will depend on what street you’re facing though). Given that it’s a newer building there were a few random quirks that had to be fixed with my unit (water pressure, water heater adjustment, extra-sensitive circuit breaker), but as I mentioned before these were all taken care of very quickly and have not recurred. One final note that the common areas are great for hosting a group of friends!

I genuinely love this apartment. The safety, walkability, speedy maintenance, and cleanliness are top-tier. It's absolutely overpriced and needs to be shaved down a couple hundred bucks, but overall, great place to live.

Donald and the Modera Clarendon team were really helpful in answering my questions and throughout the application process. I chose a 1 bedroom and it is very spacious and has great amenities. The water pressure is a bit low for me but hasn't been a big issue so far. Everything in the apartment and the overall community feel new which is a big plus for me. There's plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. The only downside I have is the parking situation: $225/month for on-site and has a long waitlist or $125/month for a off-site location about 6 minutes walk. Overall, I can recommend this if you're looking for a newer apartment complex with great amenities.

Modera Clarendon continues to please me. It is amazingly equipped with many perks for its residents. It’s a wonderful location in the city, beautiful indoor/outdoor amenities, and comfortable apartments. Great gym! Community activities for the residents are fun, well-planned and attract many residents. Outstanding staff! Well-run and inviting!

The staff at the Modera are incredibly nice and responsive. I have always felt welcome. The amenities are great and everything is clean and well kept. Fantastic location near Metro, plenty of shopping and good restaurants. Just a great place!

Here everything is perfect and thought out to the smallest detail. I could not have chosen a better place to live with my family. The best experience I had with Modera Clarendon, besides the apartment being magnificent, was in contact with the lease consultant (Britni). The whole rental process, even though I was in another country, was only possible because of the excellent work of the consultant, who promptly attended to all requests and was able to conduct the process perfectly.

The staff at Modera Clarendon are incredibly sweet and supportive during every step of the move-in and make you feel so welcome. The area is awesome! Everything you could want is within walking distance. And even if you never left the building, the amenities within Modera are so nice and inviting. I am so happy we moved here.

Moving into this new apartment building has been an incredibly positive experience. The management team is outstanding (Alejandra was fantastic and more than helpful throughout the entire application process), the apartment is beautifully designed, and the community is welcoming and inclusive.
