Lower Highlands, known as LoHi, is a family-friendly neighborhood just three miles outside of Denver, where you’ll find the Colorado State Capitol, Civic Center Park, the Denver Art Museum, and so much more. LoHi boasts a variety of local burger joints, taverns, beer gardens, and coffee shops such as Recess Beer Garden and Root Down, an old filling station turned New American eatery. LoHi is located near major parks such as the City of Cuernavaca Park along the South Platte River, boasting biking and hiking trails with scenic city views.
Hirshorn Park is a smaller neighborhood park that’s worth a visit, housing baseball fields, basketball courts, and a playground. Nestled along Interstate 25, commuting is no issue in LoHi, especially with Denver so close, but if you don’t plan to drive, there are plenty of public bus stops on the area’s major roads.

Thank you for allowing this space to provide feedback about the Modera LoHi building. I would like to start by saying that Sam and her team do a wonderful job keeping up most of our building, including hallways, and indoor common spaces. One of the main reasons I choose to rent at Modera LoHi is due to its outdoor spaces. I would like to advocate that more resources are allocated to the up of outdoor spaces. Specifically, the pool, hot tub, pool deck, and fire pits upstairs. Most egregiously, the hot tub is covered in mold, not to mention the pool deck itself is shabby and dirty. Proper pool/spa up keep is not a small job, and requires pools and spas to be scrubbed weekly rather than just dosed with chemicals. Please support Sam with MORE RESOURCES and STAFF to allow for proper up keep of the pool and outdoor spaces. This includes the fire pits that have not worked for the entirety of my time living at Modera. Please contact me for more information if needed.

Expensive, but great apartment with great amenities and super dog friendly. All the staff are kind and helpful. The location is ideal too near tons of restaurants.

The apartment has Good amenities and social events. I like the mail system lockers and the lobby is stocked with free coffee and dog treats.

Modera LoHi is the best apartment I have ever lived in. I came from Sentral Union station which does have better amenities but is a massive complex with no human connection.

I think the apartment and amenities are nice. There are not enough parking spots though and some appliances need to be updated or fixed as they seem to be worn down.

Great community, well maintained. Maintenance requests are fulfilled immediately. Very nice view overlooking Denver, respectful residents. Mailroom is a good setup and area for mail delivery has refrigerator as well as password protected lockers

So far, I have been very satisfied with my experience at Modera LoHi. The rent is not cheap but the overall quality of the building and the staff are very good. The location is also excellent - close to many restaurants, LoDo and the Highlands. It is a pet friendly place and my dog loves the large balcony we have. Overall, I would recommend Modera LoHi to others on their apartment search!
