With a history dating back to 1688, when the French Huguenots landed at Long Island shore near today’s New Rochelle, Downtown New Rochelle has long attracted new residents with its stunning beauty and thriving businesses. Moving into Modera has been a great experience so far. The building offers a modern and convenient lifestyle, with standout amenities like a well-equipped gym and secure garage parking. Having an on-site gym has made it easy to stay consistent with my workouts, saving me time and eliminating the need for a separate gym membership. The garage parking is another major perk, providing peace of mind and protection from the elements. It’s well-maintained, secure, and makes coming and going hassle-free. Beyond the amenities, the overall atmosphere of the building has been positive. The management team is responsive, and maintenance requests (if any) are handled efficiently. The common areas are kept clean, and the residents I’ve met so far have been friendly. Overall, my experience at Modera has been smooth and enjoyable. The combination of convenience, security, and amenities makes it a great place to live.

Moving in has been a lovely journey so far. The location is fantastic-there’s a vibrant mix of shops and restaurants just around the corner, making it super easy to explore and enjoy local favorites. I really appreciate the amenities. The fitness center is great for staying active, and the communal spaces are inviting, which encourages a sense of community. The management team has been incredibly helpful and responsive; they genuinely care about the residents, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. (Connie has been one of the best! =) As for my apartment, I’m really happy with it! The modern design and practical layout feel both stylish and comfortable. The natural light is a standout feature, creating a warm and inviting space to call home. Overall, Modera has been a wonderful place to live. The move-in experience was fairly easy. The staff was accommodating by allowing us to see the space beforehand and even moving stuff in early. The freight elevator's move-in window is tight, so I recommend adding an hour or two. The residents have been warm and welcoming, which is always lovely.

The apartments are very new and updated. There's a very active and friendly community. The amenities are nice, However, the remotes are always missing for the outdoor community TVs. It doesn't seem like anyone is tracking who has the remotes or when they're being returned. The pool Also opens pretty late, 11 AM, and then closes for a half hour at 1:30 for a break And you have to evacuate the pool area. This is very inconvenient, especially if you have small children.

Garage door has been opened for a long time and office barely responds to complaints and emails. Also they now added a charge for sewer which for over 18 months was never there. Tried reaching out to the leasing office but they pick and chose when they like to respond. Who knows what other surprises residents will soon start receiving! Very disappointing!

It' like living in a resort
WE love the Modera for many reasons: It's modern, clean, new, not too high building, have balcony, beautiful bathrooms, walking closets, new appliances, pet friendly, great maintenance service, valet service, , concierge, great coffee shop, roof top, game room, pool table, BBQ station, courtyards with firepits, conference room, study rooms, gym, outdoor pool, garage, dog walk, dog grooming room, and great social events. It is like a resort a beautiful environment and very convenient lifestyle. Plus very quiet, because our apartment faces to a courtyard. The only challenge is that the bedrooms and the living room are pretty small, we have to rent a storage for our extra furniture that can't fit in.

The whole process - from coming to look at the unit the first time to move in - was absolutely perfect. Our leasing agent, Tatiana, was available 24/7 - to not only answer any questions, but resolve and reassure us if we had any concerns. Her knowledge and willingness to make sure everything was 100% is truly commendable. The front desk staff were also very beneficial - they assisted in answering our questions regarding deliveries, lent us hand carts for moving final boxes, and ensured seamless building access for us and visiting guests. And let me add, that my first beverage from Cafetero was the best (iced chai latte) I’ve had to date!

Best place to live New Rochelle
I have been renting here for the past 3 months and I couldn’t be happier! Everyone on staff and the other residents are friendly and helpful. It’s maintained impeccably and has great amenities such as the fully equipped gym that’s open 24 hours, a beautiful social room with a pool table and a brand new social courtyard setup with tables and chairs a grill and lounge chairs. I feel like the management would be very responsive to any issues I would have but I have not needed to rely on them for any problems. It is immaculate, safe and very comfortable not to mention the location is very convenient. I can’t say enough good things!

Leasing team are rockstars absolutely amazing!
First and foremost I want to say this has been the best experience in my life, I came across Modera in late January after leaving One Clinton place and having an incredibly bad vibe I walk across the street to the Modera leasing team which was absolutely the best decision of my life! The leasing team are absolutely rockstars! They made me feel at home before I even signed a lease they made me love the place with just a conversation within 48 hours I had been approved signed and my lease they kept me updated over the four months until my move in. I moved on May 1 they have kept me up-to-date and abreast of everything going on they have been absolutely amazing and the cherry on top of the entire experience my apartment is absolutely stunning the facility is absolute perfection I love being here and living here and it’s not even fully built yet!!!
