Overall good experience. We had some issues with the AC, washer, and the fridge but the maintenance team quickly fixed all those issues (and were super flexible with their time).

The amenities are nice, but the ones that are used the most (pool, gym, bowling area), are not well kept. Yes, they are high traffic area, but you would think it would get a little extra TLC. The area outside the building is even filthier. On the south side of the building—one block over—there is a homeless resource center. Therefore, there is a lot of suspicious characters, and filth around. The San Diego cleanup crew come and cleanup, but it’s never enough because there are always people there. Really wish they were truthful about it when I first inquired about the property; it was one of my first questions. I was told that they are there, but ‘you won’t notice them’. That was a big stretch of the truth, or lack thereof.
I really love that this is one of the first apartments that I’ve moved in and the quality of the apartment is really nice, it feels very luxurious. The amenities are also very amazing whenever I have a problem with the apartment I love How maintenance is so quick to fix the issue and how easy it is to request it and I just love how the apartment is always very clean and very quiet.

POOR customer service from leasing office staff member named Lauryn. Lauryn has been consistently rude, mean, and impatient towards me despite my simple requests falling under her responsibility. On Monday, September 30th 2024, I visited the office to update my email address for package pickup. Lauryn asked me to write down my email address, but when she asked me a question quickly and I asked her to repeat it, she gave me a RUDE and ANGRY look and rolled her eyes. This is not the first time that Lauryn has treated me with disrespect and impatience, making me feel like I owe her something when that is not the case whatsoever. I have never received such poor customer service anywhere else in the US in the past decade. I am extremely disappointed at the poor customer service at this property and I do not recommend this place to anyone else.
Amenities are great, neighbors are polite and the staff is very friendly. Been living here a year and a half and have been enjoying it since day one

Clean and the personnels are nice and very helpful. Already have few coworkers that live on the building. I enjoy playing pool and haven’t tried to use the swimming pool yet.

Over experience is good here except for the upstairs neighbor constant stumping all day long. The amenities here are great and the location is awesome. It’s close to a lot of things downtown and Petco Park which is super convenient for going to padres games.

Great management and maintenance staff - Lauren and Michael in particular. Love my spacious apartment although it can be noisy in the courtyard. Would love to replicate my unit on the top floor haha

I love everything about the building and the unit. Modera really work hard to make theirs leasee happy. They use a lot of technology which help make things easier for us like lockers, lights and climate being controlled from your phone. The maintenance is so efficient never had a problem unsolved or left us waiting for a long time

I like that this place is so close to everything. Although there is a playground up the street, I wish that this building had a playground for those who have children instead.

We have had a great experience at the property. Lauryn was and is an amazing leasing agent. She goes above and beyond to make sure any concerns we have are addressed. So has Tiffany and Jessica. Eric, on maintenance has also gone above and beyond for us, making sure that any issues on the property are addressed. So has Mike. Mike does an excellent job. The only issue I personally have is that I wish the bowling lanes were properly waxed (regularly) tenants who walk on them were addressed, and the lanes were generally maintained to a higher standard. Aside from that, you guys are doing great and I would recommend you to any of my friends.

It has been great living here! Amenities are always kept clean and up to date. Residents here are happy and the front staff are the best. Loren helped me move in and made it a great and easy experience. Loren has always been helpful when needed and goes above and beyond.

The building itself is nice with great amenities. However, the management does a poor job controlling the surrounding area. Additionally, there is little control over certain tenants who are consistently obnoxious and disruptive, making it difficult to enjoy the community. It’s unfortunate because the building has potential, but the lack of oversight in these areas detracts from the overall experience.

I love living at Modera San Diego! The inside features of the home make the space very homey! The amenities are TOP NOTCH!! - A Full out Bowling Alley and an absolutely beautiful rooftop pool with a view of the SD skyline and the Padres stadium! 24 hour access Gym!

We’re very happy with our place! It’s cute and comfy and had everything we were looking for. Neighbors are pretty friendly and staff is always super helpful. Maintenance responds very quickly if there are ever any problems. Sometimes people can be a little noisy after quiet hours begin but shutting the windows usually helps.

Very nice and clean installations. I love that the gym is open 24 hrs this is one less thing I have to worry about. Outside not that safe due to a lot of homeless .

I personally love it here. My neighbors are nice, I feel safe and comfortable in my apartment. Once I get all of my household goods I will feel right at home!

Modern apartments and great amenities. Top gym. Very well located steps away from Petco Park and Mission Brewery. 10-15min to the airport. 5 min to the harbour. Can be loud sometimes in the evenings when neighbors blast music and party with their windows open. Also the courtyards are loud. People do not realize how their noise gets carried or they do not care. The windows are well isolated and get rid of noise. So no fresh air during loud nights. Bbq’s are great. Still some people occupy them for hours.

Great clean and well maintained building with friendly staff. The only downside is the area has a lot of unhoused and tents camped everywhere creating safety concerns.

The place is nice but the location and homeless issues make it difficult to pay this kind of price especially in this economy and market. I’d rather an older place with more space and less money than the amenities.
Love living here. Management is on top of things! Maintenance request are taken care of expeditiously and the amenities are worth every penny.
