Property Ratings at Monaco at Main
I used to love living here. Now I am considering other options, given the last 6 months. These so called improvements have been the opposite.
The location is fantastic, situated in a vibrant neighborhood that offers easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transportation. Moreover, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any inquiries or concerns.
I HATE the new app to enter into doors/gates/etc. It’s not user friendly and I can no longer have doordash/ubereats/Instacart delivered. I even had to let fedex in one day, and I see the mailmen waiting at the gate as well. If your phone dies, is stolen, or just inoperable, good luck getting into the apartment you pay rent for. Keeping out mischief is one thing, but your own residents? Wild. The irony is, my license plate was stolen from the garage around the same time this “fabulous” security app went online. Great. Bring back the key fob. The units need updating and the complex as a whole needs a deep clean. Maintenance used to be fairly quick, but I’ve had some recent work orders put in that still haven’t been completed (placed 12/26 for reference), I’m letting the holiday closures serve as an excuse for now. We are now on our 3rd property manager since I moved in in 2023. Hopefully this new one will figure out how I can get my food delivery services and packages again.
I have been living here since 2017! Love here. Maintenance is very nice so it’s everywhere clean and great condition. Quick response for fix if something happens. Amazing service
Very kind staff. Good about being on top of pest control. Updated security recently and it’s pretty awesome. Plenty of parking for everyone.
Amazing office and maintenance staff! Great location, walking distance from Target, stadium and shops. Safe area to live in, complex is secured by security system.

I used to like living here but things have gone downhill very fast. The new app-based access system is buggy and complicated to use. It prevents access to my unit. Elevators frequently break and go unfixed for months. Locks on gates to pool make it inaccessible. Nobody cares. The property manager, Patrick, is never onsite, at most for a few hours a week on Wednesdays.

The leasing office staff has been very helpful and prompt in responses. The grounds appeared maintained. Safety and comfort seem to be important. I had an unforeseen plumbing issue and it was fixed swiftly. It’s been a good experience so far.

Living here has been great I love my home, the pool is nice, great amenities and location! the trash in the hallways/ parking garage is kind of gross sometimes though and security could be better- my hubcaps were stolen in the parking garage.

Monaco at Main is a great community. My family and friends are constantly being encouraged to come by to see what is offered. This apartment complex has a family type atmosphere. The personnel are awesome individuals. The apartments are well prepared before move in is approved which is a big plus.

From the start, the complex made a great impression—everything was clean, including the pools and the gym, which were presentable. Needless to say, setting up a tour was easy! The application process was smooth and easy, with no stress, thanks to management's prompt and clear communication in addressing any questions I had. My unit was spotless when I moved in, with no signs of pests, and the hallways are mostly tidy. Trash is collected promptly, just as promised. One thing I really appreciated was the positive office environment. It was clear that everyone was engaged and knowledgeable, which was a refreshing change from my previous management experience. I had a list of apartments to tour when moving to houston and monaco at main was not one of them, because it was near one of my apartments that I had on my list I decided to check it out anyways, Brook was very welcoming and helpful in setting up a tour for me to visit the unit that ended up being the unit I chose to stay in. I love the homey-resort feel of the hallways and my apartment. A lot of apartment these days feel like an apartment and are low quality. I feel like I am in a home that is sturdy. Since moving in I have had little to no complaints and plan to renew my lease.

I was amazed with the value of living here! Our two bedroom apartment is very spacious and has so many built in features that make life a lot easier. For example, the linen closets in each bathroom and the shelving in the closets are perfect for extra storage on top of the things that normally go there. They are very on top of pest control, and the management is so kind - especially Brook. I was worried about moving across the country without touring it first, but it was better than I could have hoped for.

8 minutes from TMC. Perfect for Healthcare workers to come back home to an excellent "home like feel" apartment with crown moldings in living area and spacious bathrooms and closet. Wonderful swimming pool for family time and a decent gym to workout at!!! Within minutes from literally all great shopping areas ...5 minutes to be precise from Target for your regular grocery shopping needs !! What's not to love about Monaco!!! Cut down on your travel time in car, and get back home withing minutes after 12 hour shifts!!

So far our lives have been pretty good. Safe, convenient and fast service. There were no signs of maladaptation.The apartment management will not interfere with your life.

Monaco is a nice place to live. Great office and maintenance staff. The community is clean, with lots of amenities. It’s close to various shopping centers and places to eat.

Monaco is a prime location. Grocery stores, places to eat, medical center, rice village with all the restaraunts and shopping all within 5-10 minutes. Residents around me have generally been quiet. Sebastian and the maintenance team have been great as well; my service requests have always been responded too very quickly.

Monaco at main was great upon move in. However since being a resident. I’ve had my catalytic converter stolen and the office stated they would look into it. The main hallways are not very clean as people’s allow their pets to relieve themselves. The gates are constantly not working. And the gym equipment constantly is breaking. The new management/staff is very nice and super respectful so I’m hoping for improvements.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. Any footage of criminal activity is turned over to law enforcement, to conduct their investigation and the on-site courtesy patrol team is also notified of any incidents. With regard to the pets, we will send out additional notifications, reminding pet owners to be responsible for any accidents, however, our on-site maintenance team responds promptly to any service requests, including clean-ups. If there are any gate issues, they are immediately attended to by the on-site facilities team and if the issue is beyond their expertise, a gate vendor is informed of the repair immediately. Unfortunately, accidental vehicle impacts to the gate are a challenge to control. Our focus last year was to upgrade our lighting, property-wide, which was successfully completed; this year our focus is to enhance our access control and camera system. In just a few months, we are hoping to provide our gym with improvements in 2024.
The apartment is very comfortable and the management is very friendly

Management at Monaco at main is excellent. It’s a very peaceful and quiet area. It’s a very walkable community and stores such as Target are in close proximity.

Greetings! Thank you for the five stars! We do care and try our best to help as much as we can.
Moved here a couple of weeks ago from MN after an extensive search prioritizing safety, cleanliness and affordability. The leasing office staff, Gina and Lawrence are the best, very helpful and approachable. Very walkable location i.e. target, Kroger, restaurants, Medical Center. Loaded with amenities, gated parking ramp, gym and pools to complete a resort like living experience. Not to forget free coffee and water in the lobby everyday. Five stars so far !

You are right about the location; Target is right across the street with so many more stores a short walk away, and the United States Postal Service and Chase Bank are both right next door. We do have large apartments and a variety of floorplans to fit most budgets. We couldn't agree with you more, that Monaco at Main is the right place!
