Monarch 716 Student Living

The rooms are nice and I love the space. My only complaint would be how long maintenance takes to respond to a request, also the roaches in my apartment.

i have been living here for two years now and it is a good place to live good neighborhood close to buffalo state university with good ammenities.

I love this place so much,people are so nice and friendly to each others and I love to live here.I fill my self safe to be here .we heve to collaborate with you all.

Overall living here is great, I don’t really have any issues being here. But what I will say is that anything servicing wise takes a long time. Anytime you call the leasing office they never answer or they take more than 2 business days to get back to you.

so far everything is going good with monarch no complaints. the only thing is when it comes to paying rent i get charged twice everytime, grey star does manage to get it fixed but it does get annoying. i just want to be able to pay rent with no issues other than that everything else is calm.

I have had a great experience so far. I have lived there for two years and a half. The only thing I would love to be able to benefit from is the pool.

This was great. So many gift card options are available which is amazing and always appreciated for college students. There are a lot of options whether its food, stores, online, or entertainment.

Amazing so far I love it here it is affordable and we have a lot of great places to seat and enjoy plus we have amenities that are really helpful like the washer so I love it here and it is affordable

Pretty good, decent staff was pretty nice. Overall the communication can be better but. I would say I enjoy the company. It’s close to school

Here’s a concise review draft: staircase maintenance could use more attention. It would be beneficial to have it cleaned on a weekly basis, as there is often garbage scattered throughout the stairs. Regular upkeep would greatly enhance the cleanliness and safety for everyone who uses them.

Nothing works in this complex and rooms are not even finished. Had a broken ac for months. Nobody checks up on the maintenance . I was guaranteed a gift card for a signing my lease and never received one

A friend referred me to Monarch 716, and so far, my experience becoming a resident has been great. Everything has gone smoothly, and I’ve really appreciated how welcoming the community has been.

The move-in honestly took a long time because units just weren’t cleaned. Many people are leaving there trash everywhere and just letting there dogs use the bathroom everywhere. The amenities are nice I wished the pool worked!

- My apartment was not ready when I arrived. Some of the things that was upsetting was that, my door was broken and did not lock. That is my bedroom door. Then the door to the entrance of the building does not lock. I did get matiance to change my door but the entence door building is still unlocked. Futhermore, my living room T.V has no remote and still does not. My windows had no screens my dishwasher was broken. Overall very disappointed.

This company forced me to get WiFi because they refused to fix it for over a year as it has not been functioning and I have complained many times to no affect. They tell me “it’s not our problem” and for me to contact the service provider. I’ve been on the phone with said service provider for a total of about 10 hours the past year or so, to no affect. The management is extremely rude and manipulative. They told me I needed to move “this week” for “renovations”, then when I said I’m not willing to risk to move into another more broken apartment, they were dismissive to an aggressive degree. After trying to illegally move me, they moved in another roommate the day after with no notice. They don’t care about their residents feelings and I have seen poop stay in the hallways for weeks at a time, and the maintenance team will just look at it and close out the request. A/C is also been broken for over a year. Only thing giving it a one star is they hire security

Best experience I had in living environment love my Apt. My roommate are cool. Everybody friendly. Any problem I had been talking care of love it

My unit is very nice and the people that helped me were great and very helpful, just had a shaky start with finding a room. Sadie was a big help for me and my mom in a tough situation

i loved it, It was amazing and a relatively easy process, i found it really awesome, i started my process not too long ago and it has been smooth ever since

It’s good , I would recommend to anyone who’s interested and is in college . Great staff , positive energy, social media accounts is very informative.

My monarch experience was simple. However it did take some time for the process to be finalized. I also felt I wasn’t being updated enough. Although I had these few discrepancies I believe it was a easy and simple process.

Overall, I enjoy living in this complex and am pleased with my unit and experience. However, I am concerned about occasional issues with the building's cleanliness, such as unpleasant odors, sticky floors, and trash left on the ground, as well as the air conditioning problems. Addressing these concerns would greatly enhance my satisfaction with the community.

so far it’s good. the only thing is that sometimes packages go missing and the pool has yet to be opened. other than that everything else is calm

Overall a positive experience. There were obviously some issues which I’ve mentioned in other reviews but they were handled quickly for the most part. Biggest complaint I can say was that I found out my randomly assigned roommate was moving in an hour before she showed up.

Buildings are DISGUSTING. They close the main building early all the time . Gym is not available around the clock as stated in the site. Shuttle service is unreliable at times. Matinence crew takes days or months to come sometimes . They don’t clean the floors. Broken glass windows in my building have not been repaired in MONTHS.

They never help! There was blue mold in two of the four rooms. After telling them about it they did nothing till a few months later when I bugged them again about it. I have pics. This is such a stupid and disgusting place. Plus the roommates are anyone. They touch my stuff and the price is ridiculous for the rooms. They don’t even tell you what they are charging you. They say gas and electric but never show how much you actually used.

I wish I could give 0 stars because this is a SCAM!!! Trust me do not do it!!! The 6 months I lived here were complete Hell I was so happy to get out!!! First, the management changes every few months because it's all a scam. They tell you one price and when you go to sign your lease it's completely different. Then they add additional charges each month for made up overages...I was never home and every month there was an overage for electricity etc. The walls are paper thin you can be in your room and hear your roommate cough from their room, the front desk people never know what they're doing so you can never get help, there's 2 flight of stairs for each floor with no elevator like I wish I could go on

I signed a lease for a 2-bedroom apartment the entire time I communicated with a girl named Jennifer who at the time seemed very knowledgeable and informative. After I signed the lease I wanted to pay my first month and security deposit. Monarch staff acted like they didn't even know I applied until I told them I signed a lease agreement. After constantly being put on hold they told me they had no more 2-bedrooms available and would I be willing to move into a 4-bedroom. If I wanted to move into a 4-bedroom I would've signed for a 4-bedroom not a 2-bedroom. The staff just don't care I got that vibe soon as I brought this issue to their attention. I do not recommend anyone applying here oh and I forgot they love to say they'll call you back and never call back.
