Montcalm Heights Apartments

Lived in Montcalm Heights in Chicopee for a year. Great value, a nice place to live and comes with free storage. Also, has a pool which was great. The Mgr. Matt has an office on the property and is there 5 days a week. He is very helpful & proactive when you have a problem. Definitely recommend if you’re are moving to this area.

I lived in a studio appt here for a year and I have nothing but good things to say. Paying rent is easy, Matt is awesome to work with! Very quiet neighborhood! easy local access to food and fuel. I would go back for sure!

This is my first apartment so I was very careful on choosing a place to live. Matt the manager helped me through the whole process and was able to answer every question that I had. When I first moved into the apartment I was amazed how clean it was and how nice everything looked. I was also shocked how quiet all the neighbors are in which I respect a lot. I'm living here as a single person and there is plenty of room for all of my stuff. There is no assigned parking but I never have trouble finding a spot close to the entrance I go in and I like how the apartment is located near everything. If I had to list any cons it would only be that the floors creak a little bit but it's nothing major and doesn't bother me. Overall it's a great place in my opinion and I'm very happy that I chose to live here.

This is my first apartment and I have loved it. Neighbors are good - even though it’s a big building I have maintained my privacy. Mr. Matt is AWESOME. Great guy - very patient and helpful. Love my big windows to let in air and dual air conditioners. I also love the size of the bathroom and kitchen - ample storage space.

I've lived here about 10 years and all the staff are always willing to go above and beyond.Matt in the office is great,especially concerning packages deliveries as he excepts them for the whole complex.Doing this greatly helps your packages from being stolen if your not at home.The maintenance guys are also great as they respond very quickly to any problems you have at all times of the day and night.

I have lived here for about 6 months now and it’s great! All the staff are very friendly and are always available. The office manager, Matt, is so nice and helps with anything he can! The maintenance man is extremely helpful and even goes out in the snow storms and helps everyone gets their cars out! I love it here!

Honestly has been an amazing experience living here for the last almost 4 years. The neighbors are all great and respectful. The staff here is amazing! Maintenance is always here or just a call away to help you with any problem you’re having. Matt who runs the front office is always willing to help out when he can and is just an all around great person who cares about everyone who lives here. The building is always kept clean and in good condition. The washers and dryers downstairs do the job and their maintenance is always kept up. The pool area is a great place to beat the heat in the summer and get to know some of the neighbors. Dollar general is a short walk away which always comes in handy. In the winter the parking lot is quickly plowed after it snows so it’s safe for everyone. John who is a part of the maintenance team is always outside helping anyone who needs help getting their cars out. It’s a good and safe environment for families and we have a sense of community here. It’s 10/10 a wonderful place to live.

It is a very safe and clean place. The staff is very helpful and pleasant especially Matt he is always helpful.

I’ve been here for two years. Matt was amazing during the application process, move-in and still is as an office manager. Any time I need something all I have to do is call. NOT LIKE MY LAST COMPLEX! Looking at you @The Willows! He’s respectful, diligent, personable, and downright an asset to our community. Wish we had someone like that on SATURDAYS! I also love the maintenance staff. They do a fine job keeping the building in working order. Within hours of putting in a work order in someone is here to fix the problem. Talk about service! I also love that they hold my packages from UPS & Fedex otherwise I would have to go and pick them up.

I have lived here for over two years and I must say it is one of the best places I have ever lived. Matt the property manager went above and beyond the day I came in and put in my application the very same day I got the call saying he had already run my credit and background check and I was good to move in. I feel so safe living here. I have heard him personally tell people that he couldn't tell them where or even of someone lives in the building and wouldn't allow them in. Any question I have no matter how small I think it is he treats with the utmost seriousness and haste. He makes sure that everything runs smoothly and things get fixed as soon as I bring them to his attention. He had my blinds replaced because he saw that they where damaged and made sure that they it was done in a timely manner. He is one of the things that make living here so great.

If you are searching for a good safe clean environment filled with kind considerate neighbors and staff, then Montcalm is a place you should consider. In two years I have daily seen spotless hallways-laundry rooms-entrance areas (inside and out)-elevator- and all other areas in the building. The pool area and the enclosed park are no exception. The building is always spotless. Maintenance is exceptional. Nothing is left or put off until some later time. If it needs attention or repair, it dealt with immediately and efficiently. The Maintenance staff is beyond question, among the best, as well as the friendliest and most helpful, in the state. The management could not be more accommodating or helpful regardless of how large or small the situation presented. Matthew, the current manager (since I've lived here), is not only friendly congenial and accommodating, but also a man genuinely concerned with the well-being and comfort of all the tenants residing at Montcalm. Everything from the cleanliness maintained to the maintenance provided- and the feeling of safety given by the locked entrance, to the warmth and friendliness of management, along with the privacy you have, makes living here not only convenient- but also- most enjoyable. I've not regretted living here at Montcalm, even one day since moving in. Glad I am here.

Yeah it's a little pricey they should allow a small dog for the price that we pay and more things to offer but over all the community is good nice neighbors and nice area to live very quiet place to live

I am a mom with two kids. I fee the apartment is way to expensive for what its worth. It has a pool and a place to do laundry which is great but is it really worth over 1000 dollars. The hallways smell like smoke. When we first moved in the apartment was not correctly painted and the first thing any of my friends and family noticed was how the apartment smelled. Another issue I had was the apartment was all carpeting. The place where the dinning room table is supposed to be was even carpeting. I have two kids and they are small. The kitchen is extremely small and though the residents that live here are very nice, it is just not worth the money. Especially if your struggling like me.
